Texas Playoff Hopes Fade After Stunning Florida Loss

Did you do it? Did you fade Texas? I didn't do it. After talking my talk, after talking my nonsense about always fading Texas in big games, I didn't think the Gator game was big enough. Honest to gosh, I thought this was going to be a game that Texas would win because I thought, all right, they may not cover, but they're going to. No, they were double digit home favorites and Florida beat Texas. we are one loss away from Texas cashing my ticket that i bet in the preseason for Texas to miss the college football playoff three losses they're out okay the Ohio State game right now gets them and they have two losses plus the Ohio State win that win in my mind if we were putting together a bracket today i believe that Texas would be in because of the win over Ohio State but the two losses you give them three and see you later they will be out of the college football playoff bracket now I bet that so I am obviously cheering Ole Miss this weekend could get the job done and then Texas is out okay if Oklahoma keeps losing that loss gets worse and worse okay they lost over the weekend to Kentucky OU you know that lost Oklahoma now the loss to Florida if both Oklahoma and Florida go south then that's going to really be detrimental to Texas in terms of their resume to be one of the 12 teams in they're going to have to be an at-large team they're not going to win the SEC so now it's where does the committee fall with that win over Ohio State and if Ohio State wins the Big 10 that's a pretty big win right that's a big feather in their cap but with three losses that is not going to overcome those three losses with the win over Ohio State so huge loss i didn't bet it i should have i i said look Arch Manning has been the most overrated quarterback in quite some time and Steve Sarkisian in key big games as the head coach just simply doesn't get the job done they don't come through when you need them to it is remarkable to watch how they do it it's remarkable to stare at it and go what is going on with Texas and be in big moments because Longhorn fans are beside themselves today they can't believe it they can't believe they lost to Florida. They lost to Oklahoma. All right, that's a rivalry game. It's Red River. It's on a neutral at home. They should have lost to Ohio State. They should have. That was a miracle comeback victory. They didn't cover, but they won. Bet I didn't make this weekend that I wish I did. I wish I bet Florida against Texas.
