Hello again everybody. Okay here are the results
for contest number six math time. I had over 270
video entries. So once again I'm going to have a top five finishers.
So without wasting any time
let's get right to the results.
I was looking for the most creative, most original, self-working or
math trick. So finishing in fifth place. This was creative.
This was definitely original. Fifth place
goes to Deft Hands 08, nice trick, the explanation
and the tutorials seem more like a blueprint for
building a car engine, I don't know how you came up
with this, I had to watch it like seven times
you could be a rocket scientist, it must have taken you
a couple of months to come up with this
you earned fifth place, Deft Hands 08
with prey, I would have spelled it a little differently
but great job, great work, okay moving
on to fourth place, fourth place previously another runner up in
one of the earlier contests, I said I don't want to see 21
or Devil 13, so what does he show me
the Alakazams with 21, but this was a different 21, check out
his trick, this is a very very cool trick
he uses a pen, use a pencil when you're making your math square
or math box because we don't
want to waste cards right, okay good job the Alakazams
in third place, I had a really difficult
time with this one because I set rules
because I don't want the rules to be broken and one of the
rules in this contest was the videos had to be four minutes
or under and one of the better videos
was The Power of Three by Singing Banana
so The Power of Three finishes in third place
Even though he went 4 minutes and 35 seconds
35 seconds over the allowed time limit
4 plus 3 is 7.
Plus 5 is 12.
That's 1, 2.
1 plus 2 is 3.
You see, the power of 3 was just haunting me.
The Singing Banana, a great mathematician, a great trick,
wins third place with a red and blue deck of bicycle playing cards.
if you stayed within the four minutes you might have had
the power of one okay moving on to second
place we have another previous winner in second place
in second place is the bugger magic with
ace this is a really cool self-working trick i
tried it i really like it once again he did his
his video to music. This music was easy on the ears.
I didn't mind it. Brilliant. Debugger Magic
always right up there in the finals.
Good job finishing in second. And now here it is. The
winner of contest number six.
He finished in fifth place in contest number two. He finished in third
place in contest number three.
And finally, Plazity with mathematics finishes in first place
in contest number six I'm going to show you just
a little bit of what his video was about if you
haven't seen it he takes a card puts it in an envelope
and that's a prediction then takes a
deck has the spectator cut the cards as many times as they like
and asks them to stop at a card and
that card is going to be an indicator card
so let's say they stop right here that's an indicator
card which means three cards down will be the prediction
so three cards down from the three
one two the third card down is the ace of diamonds
and he opens up the envelope and in the envelope
there is the ace of diamonds check out how this trick
is done i think it's brilliant it's original
great job plazity once again winning contest number six
that's it i appreciate all the entries
i subscribe to a lot of you guys have
a great great summer i'm taking a rest now i'll see you
next time
