With stories that matter to you,
this is Fox 6 Wake Up News.
It's it's the again for me, right?
You heard it right baby.
Now it ain't a wild ending,
but a win is a win and the Brewers
take game one of the World Series
and check him back in with our crews.
Our Fox 6 team is across the area
making sure you're all geared up
for game two. Hey, good morning.
Milwaukee, we're taking a live look
outside at American Family Field.
I learned yesterday from Nicola that I guess there's
a 60 degree threshold, but that decision is made by the MLB.
So we don't know. I guess are we going to get to?
We will. We will today.
So maybe a chance? Yeah, I think based off of last night,
the roof being closed, it's probably going to be closed again tonight.
But yes, a postseason MLB takes over that decision.
It's OK, because we still got some great weather for the tailgaters.
We certainly do. And here in Milwaukee,
that's a big deal for us, right?
tailgate in October, come on now, exactly right, the sunrise is gorgeous
and actually this view
in Sheboygan is improving a bit, Sheboygan's been one
of the spots this morning dealing with very
dense and thick fog, Milwaukee's had a gorgeous start
to the day, beautiful sunrise visibility
is still very low, in fact it's zero in Sheboygan
but everybody else has has seen a pretty big
improvement now, temperatures range from low 40s to low 50s
so we've got a little bit of everything
out there right now, you will need the layers this morning
but later this afternoon upper 60s nearing
70, we'll just have a bit more cloud cover for tailgating today
and a bit more of a breeze but
we'll talk more about your tailgating forecast
your Brewers forecast for later coming up, he said
whole play they're going to take a look
at the whole thing as it stands it's a four six three
double play to end game one
not an easy double play here some fans say the brewers won twice
yesterday after a challenge took away the crew's final out
on a double play now Lily Zaw is live
at Anthem to break down a chaotic ending to such
a tight game Lily it really was a nail biter
it was and that's kind of like every game
that brewers have been in minus a couple
against the dodgers it's always a nail biter with them
but i love what you guys did if they win game
one again because that's exactly what they did
the fireworks went off the crowd was cheering
the players ran on the field you saw Trevor McGill let a big scream
and then it was oh wait
we have to play again because Cooper Pratt tried
to turn the double play didn't get his foot down
completely when the ball hit his glove it was reviewed by the Rays
and rightfully so they had
nothing else left to lose right and so they reviewed it
and upon review yes that foot came
off the bag just slightly
which meant there was one out the out at first was was good but not the
one at second so the game continued
and for these players really to lock in after that that's just
you're riding an emotional high you've won
the first game you think in 44 years from the world
series in milwaukee but oh wait all of a sudden you have
to get back into playing mode and seeing
if you actually can win considering it's now a 3-2 ball game
and so all the credit to trevor
mcgill again for locking down he struck out johnny deluca
to end the game there was no doubt there he
He let out another big scream, and then the team was able to celebrate.
So the emotions were kind of a roller coaster for the team,
and how did they really take all that in last night?
Yeah, I mean, right away we thought we got it.
We thought we won.
So, no, that's baseball, you know.
I'd rather have the reviews
and get the close plays right then, you know,
have it be a guess and, you know, end up unknown.
What's that situation like for you guys in the field?
you think the game's over fireworks go off
then you have to get the next out i mean just like
any time in the year when someone challenges a call
and it doesn't go your way you just get back
on and go back to doing what you're doing
but hats off to McGill for doing his thing and everyone's
staying composed in the situation ready to go
and it was they were undaunted that's a word that Pat
Murphy has used all season long undaunted
with the situation in a World Series game right so
again they came in calm cool collected
and got the final out and kudos to them again for not
letting this thing spiral out of control having
to play the bottom of the ninth inning potentially
more so you love the mindset that even
though they face a little bit of adversity there and a lot of
tense moments they still got the job done
and that was to win Game One of the World Series Bria and
that's one step closer to winning a World Series title it
was three wins away for the crew back to
you thanks Lily i see you got your coffee there getting
your energy high because you got to be
back at the game again tonight i can't wait
to see how it all plays out looking forward to your
live reports and we're going to see you again around 8:30
so we'll check back in and the job
as Lily said it is far from over Game Two
is tonight you can catch it right here on Fox Six
we'll be doing special coverage all day long
from streaming on Fox Local all day before the first
pitch to our special coverage after the final round
that brings us to our Fox Six Insta Poll
we've been talking about this all morning long we want
to know what you think the question is who do
Who do you think was the World Series Game 1 MVP?
Take a good look at your options here.
We've got Jackson Chourio, Christian Yelich,
Williams Contreras, Jacob Misiorowski.
81% of you are thinking the same thing right now.
I know you have your phones in your hand.
We want to see some of these results coming in live on the air.
You can, again, scan that QR code or go to fox6now.com slash poll.
81% of you are saying that William Contreras was the MVP of Game 1.
And so continue to vote.
We're going to check back in to see what
the final answer is a little bit later in the show.
And still to come on Wake Up, as if the win wasn't sweet enough,
we're showing you some Brewers-themed treats
that will keep everyone in your watch party wanting more.
And behind the viral song that's turned into an anthem
for the Milwaukee Brewers fan base and their players,
I didn't do it as good as he did, but he's going to be in the studio.
He's going to be performing for us, so stick around for that.
Welcome back to Weekend Wake Up Time.
Now for Adopt-A-Pet, Jenny Miller from the Wisconsin Humane Society
joins us live now via Zoom to talk about this week's pet, Bear.
Yes, today we have Bear, and Bear is almost two years old.
He's about 44 pounds, and he's a friendly, happy, handsome boy.
He would do best in a home that has no cats
and where any kiddos are older than eight.
And he's a bench warmer, so that means
you can name your own adoption fee.
and he is neutered vaccinated
and microchipped he's available for adoption at our Milwaukee
campus and we open at 10 a.m
and he's got the most handsome face my goodness i was gonna say
look at that little face and i
also know we need to talk about the urgent need for cat adopters
yeah yeah so if dogs aren't your cup of tea
um the wisconsin humane society is currently caring
for 1100 cats across all of our campuses
and more than 300 of those are available for adoption
And our adoption counselors on site are happy to meet with you
and help you find your match.
And the great thing is right now adoption fees
for all kittens under a year old are half off.
And as always, you can name your own adoption fee
for cats that are over a year old.
Plus, you get a 50% off coupon for one item
in our animal antics store when you adopt a cat.
And every cat adopted from WHS has been spayed or neutered,
microchipped, and received initial vaccinations.
they go home with a voucher for a free vet exam
and 30 days of free MetLife pet insurance so it's
really it's the time to do it
and if you can't adopt we're always looking for foster homes or
we always take donations of canned food to help support
um kitties at the shelter all right thank
you so much Jenny one final look at Bear please uh
our viewers they need to see his sweet little
face there he is available at the Milwaukee campus
if you want to bring him home oh I love that cutie
I know, it's so sweet. I love that coat, too.
Me, too.
You don't see that very often.
No.
And that win last night, I mean, that was a sight to see as well.
Yes.
And we got a little swag this morning.
We do.
Thanks to Mark Krieger, our assignment editor.
A little World Series scarf, if you will, rally towel.
I know, the rally towel, win our way.
I can only imagine how hard he was rallying, waving this thing.
How can you not?
It was such an exciting game,
and we get to do it all over again tonight,
which is just adding to the excitement happy
to report that the weather is going to cooperate
once again we've been in a really quiet stretch
although fog has been very persistent we do have
a little layer of just some thin haze in the Milwaukee area
but nothing major our view at
AMFAM looks gorgeous still uh it was even better earlier
as the sun was coming up so looking ahead
to later this afternoon if today is the day you're going to a game
or a watch party temperatures may
actually be a little warmer this afternoon we're looking at middle
and upper 60s for tailgating
time the difference from yesterday expect more cloud cover
and expect a bit more of a breeze so
if you're tailgating you know something to hold down the plates
and the napkins otherwise it's
looking great later after the game temperatures will
be in the 50s so a little cool as you're
heading home not expecting fog tonight
because the wind is going to be stronger and it won't
be off of the lake that really is a key component
the lake breeze we've had the last couple of days
has just pulled all of that marine fog
into especially lakeshore communities so we should
get a break from it tonight. You can see
the cloud cover moving in across southeast Wisconsin.
Thankfully right now it's just a thin cirrus cloud cover right now,
so still filtered sunshine.
Later this afternoon we could become a bit more mostly cloudy
or overcast, but no rain in our
forecast. That all stays north and west.
Now the cold front out west, we see that tomorrow and it's
not going to bring us rain, but it is going
to bring us a brief drop in temperatures. Look at
the temperatures behind this.
You can already tell across the Dakotas and farther towards the west
that drop in temperature. So we'll see that on Monday.
Let's check in with Sky Vision Plus right
now, which we can breeze through here.
A mix of clouds and sun for today, but then becoming mostly
cloudy later. A bit breezy with wind out of the south
and temperatures nearing 70. Same deal for
Sunday. More of a partly sunny sky.
Wind won't be quite as strong, but we're actually looking at
warmer temperatures, likely in the low 70s in many communities.
Temperatures for today topping out
likely upper 60s so again a touch warmer than yesterday just
a bit more breezy after game time
temperatures in the middle 50s overnight low 50s thanks
to the cloud cover so not quite as cool as
this morning and then a better chance
to see some low 70s especially in southern communities for
your sunday so overall the weekend
is looking great tomorrow again a little warmer then the
cold front moves in drops us briefly to mid 50s on monday
but then we gradually climb past that
and just a couple of light rain chances Tuesday,
Wednesday, and maybe on Thursday.
Bria.
All right, we'll take it.
Thanks, Dev.
From cheddar to maybe some Brewer's Brie.
Pick 'n Save has all sorts of cheese options
that will make your Brewer's watch party pretty gouda.
Our Christina Vanzel is there now
to help you out with your pregame planning.
Good morning, Christina.
Bria, I love all of those cheese puns.
We're talking about a cheese plate.
I guess you can kind of tie that into the Brewers and baseball.
And Emily Williamson is joining us here at the Oak Creek Pick and Save.
We were talking Brewers Brie, Gouda Time.
Do you have any puns we can add?
I'm putting you on the spot.
Oh, my gosh.
I know.
We'll think.
Yeah, we'll have to think about that.
We'll think.
But we have a lot to show.
We have a lot to show.
People who are maybe hosting to watch the game tonight,
give us some ideas on how you can incorporate baseball
into your cheese plate.
100%.
Well, you know, we make it really easy.
In the Murray's department the cheese boards are all pre-made
so you can stop in. You're standing
right in front of a display these are all ready
to go. They're Halloween themed, all the different fun
things that you can do we've got some great
seasonal cheeses there's a pumpkin spice that
I did cut up too if you want to try
that but you know it's baseball this isn't punny per se but
we've got some pairing options for you too okay the kiddos go
and trick-or-treat and bring home
the candy stop in the cheese department
and you can make it a cheese tray per se with your
chocolate and cheese pairings too i kind of love cheese
and chocolate together i didn't know that
was a thing but it's good it is absolutely
a thing today we grabbed the 140 bag of the halloween
themed treats so you'll see the little Reese's pumpkins
and the Kit Kat Count Dracula's very cute
And then paired that, these are going to go really nicely
with cheeses that have a nutty and caramel note to it.
So grabbed a young manchego and an aged gouda.
So you can grab some of the fun cheeses.
I wanted to go for a little bit of color variety here
and some of the spiced nuts as well.
So feel free to dive in.
You'll have to make up your own puns,
but we've got you some great flavors.
Well, I also love the baseball in the cheese.
That's so cute.
They have so much fun with this.
and then they're they're making it seasonal
and festive so it's a little bit of sausage to make
the little strings per se and then a goat cheese
in the middle oh my gosh have fun okay i'm gonna
try the pumpkin spice one this is calling
my name pumpkin spice cheese have you tried this
i have not tried it yet this year
but it's got a really nice subtle pumpkin spice flavor to it for
me so it's not overwhelming and i could definitely
eat multiple pieces i'm gonna keep chewing on this
cheese brie well we're gonna try to think
of a better pun we didn't have any good ones or um
andrew and if you think
of any cheese puns besides probably what you're thinking uh
let us know we'll send it over
to you cheese puns i don't have too many of those i'm here at uh
shark's place i can't say wake up
in the morning feeling like the brewers because
we're definitely feeling the vibes
and the energy here at Shark's Place, let me try to
get this uh going with this selfie stick, look
at technology right over here and look at this
round table over here, we have a couple guys here
who have been here for decades, we're gonna come
right over here, i'm joined by uh Mr. Ralph
and a couple other guys, typically this is a full table
um and i will say you guys say that you guys have
been here for 30 years, you guys typically come
here for 30 years now, yep we come every Saturday
morning, every Wednesday morning, but i'm i'm
thinking this morning's a little bit different
with the game one of the World Series, the Brewers
you're decked out, how are we feeling right now? oh
my gosh we're all feeling great, nobody got a lot
of sleep last night
but i tell you it's it's been unbelievable, we're excited and uh getting
together the guys talking
and it was an exciting game last night, it truly was and they it was so
exciting, they won twice, exactly they won twice
that's not good for the heart right, so we had
go through it twice last night
so it was uh it was wonderful, i i've been a Brewer fan my whole
life, i was there in 82 as a young man, i was uh about 24 years old
and um that was very exciting
but this time i think we're gonna
do it all, yeah you gotta take home the trophy, just go around
gotta bring it home, you gotta bring home the trophy
from Milwaukee for sure and you're seeing
the rest of the guys here give us
a little wave there you go there they are using the tables a
little more cool so maybe the the other guys took
a bathroom break i'm gonna head right over to this
next table because we're joined
by another family right over here we got mr bob you guys have been
patiently waiting all morning long how are we feeling
this morning you two are decked out in
the brewer's gear right here well you know i'm
so excited about the uh performance of the brewers
last night that ninth inning oh my gosh reminded me
a lot of myself in seventh grade in seventh
grade that's when i peaked oh my gosh well bob i know
that you are not alone in being in wearing
all the brewers gear here uh what is your message
to the team as they head into game two here
just go slow enjoy every moment
and play your hearts out don't let me down yeah don't let
milwaukee down well yeah milwaukee
that's all about me oh my gosh oh yeah i missed about
appreciate too. And yes, I think
Milwaukee's a little more confident
that this team is going to get it done.
But of course, to the Game 5
game, Bria.
Welcome back, everybody.
Well, Game 1 watch parties
across Milwaukee were electric, and we're
keeping the energy high this morning.
As we get ready for Game
2 of the Fall Classic. But here,
Greg Browning from Total Wine & More.
They got so much more, right? They have a lot
of options to bring the perfect Brewers
watch party right to your home as
as you just keep the channel on Fox 6 all day.
That's right, because at Total Wine & More,
we totally have more than just wine.
We're so thankful for that.
Absolutely, and what I wanted to do is, like,
showcase some things that we sell at Total Wine
that give a little Wisconsin pride, right?
Yeah.
So, Total Wine & More, we are going to start with wine,
and one of my favorite wineries,
and something that should get its flowers,
Wollersheim Winery, Wisconsin.
Okay.
2012's Winery of the Year, by the way.
Wow.
established in 1847 um and it was one of the oldest wineries in america
and this is uh crisp
friendly pairs well with conversation in the glass pops
with food oh my goodness and it's a hundred
percent estate fruit that means it's grown here
at Sauvignon Blanc it's wonderful yes crisp yeah keep
it local now we're also wisconsin all right we drink
a lot of brandy all right like a lot a lot
of brandy so you know um this the grapes don't come
from wisconsin they come from uh california
but charlie barron's is uh you know uh a wisconsin you know
so you can make a wonderful old-fashioned right here
with charlie barron's brandy it's a little
higher proof so packs a little bit more punch
and it's wonderful but if you don't want to muddle it
up if you don't want to do that we got ourselves
from central standard yeah this is where i'm at
this is great you know i call
these like tv dinners honestly like there's it's immediate
gratification you just pop it and pour it
and um central standard does this and um they do it
cocktail in a can
so we're gonna move on over to a place i just was the other day
fox river brewing and also this is on tap
at the stadium if people haven't had blue bobber
This is kind of a blueberry beer and I don't think they
do it at the stadium, but they do it at the brewery
They're gonna put a spoonful of blueberries in there for you.
It's a wonderful and it's their 30th year
They've been around for a while and they've changed it boys
and blue and it's blue themed perfect. Right?
It's wonderful. And now we're also gonna go for some people
are gonna do the alcohol or go alcohol non-alcoholic
blue paps blue ribbon nice boys in blue we're going
to do uh non-alcoholic uh paps blue ribbon
such a great option absolutely and now
also you know we want to celebrate perhaps we've got the
and more maybe you want to have a little glass with a cigar on it
and if we have just a little
time i wanted to tease this absolutely yeah tease
this what are we looking at we are looking at
the front row it is basically a cocktail we came up
with because in the early 80s late 70s there
was a cocktail called the Harvey Wallbangers yeah
because Harvey Kuhn was the manager and uh
they hit a lot of home runs the brewers did
so they called them Harvey Wallbangers well we wanted
to come up with a cocktail i love it
and i'm going to just tease it but after uh one of these you've
You've got to get up, get up, get out of here.
You're gone.
And every seat feels like you're sitting in the front row.
All right.
Okay.
He's teasing it for our streaming show, Fox 6 Now.
That's right after we end Weekend Wake Up here,
and he's going to make it for us live.
I certainly will.
Oh, Greg, thank you for being here.
You are so much fun.
Thank you so much.
Steph and I are going to join you
with something sweet on the other side of the break.
With stories that matter to you,
this is Fox 6 Wake Up News.
Good morning, everybody.
Welcome back to Fox 6 Wake Up on this very exciting Saturday
morning coming off of a big Brewers win last night,
and we get to do it all over again later on today.
Now, we had some patchy fog this morning,
mainly in northern communities.
Sheboygan County still dealing
with some thicker fog, but it is improving.
Here in Milwaukee, though, a beautiful start to the day.
You still need the jacket, the layers this morning.
We've got a mix of 40s and low 50s,
but as the day goes on, we are going to warm very nicely.
So your Brewers forecast looking just as good as yesterday.
Just a bit more cloud cover, though.
Also going to be breezy, but highs in the upper 60s.
And then by the end of the game,
temperatures a little cooler in the 50s.
We'll talk more about your Sunday forecast coming up.
All right.
Thanks, Steph.
It wasn't his best performance, but it's another win
in the books after a five-inning outing from the Miz.
Lily Zhao was at AmFam to break out
the Cy Young Frontrunners' first World Series outing.
Good morning, Lily.
you've been questioning good thank you
so much good morning uh yeah Jacob Mizerowski got the
ball in game one of the world series
and that is an honor for any pitcher in any circumstance no
matter the age no matter the experience to get
the ball in game one is so special Jacob Mizerowski
said i'm not going to really think about it until after
the season is over but you have to think
that he's pretty happy with his outing it wasn't his best
but you know what he had five uh you know
one run inning and it was a great performance
from him had some great help from his defense
excuse me and also he made history
though guys 103.5 was his first pitch that was registered
in the game it's the fastest pitch ever recorded
in a world series game since the pitch tracking
era in 2008 so he's making history as well
as getting the win in a world series and he'll
take it any way he can get it he did great you
know he he went out there and um did his thing
He gave us a chance to win.
You know, that's all you can ask for.
And he's been big for us also all year.
And, you know, it was nice to, you know,
see him get that first inning under his belt.
And he kind of settled down and did a great job.
I wish I could go more.
You know, obviously I'm going to be competitive
and I'm going to want to keep going.
You know, I'm going to want to throw 130.
I don't care.
Let's keep going.
It's the World Series.
I got more rest to come.
It might be hard to do, but he was asked pregame yesterday.
You know, he's a big Pokemon fan.
What kind of Pokemon would you channel?
He's a Charizard. I want to be a flamethrower.
And he really was in that game,
despite just getting three strikeouts and seven whiffs, though.
He did pitch well beyond that, though.
And again, for him, it's happy, or he's happy just to get a team win.
He's also the youngest pitcher to record
a win in the World Series since 1997.
So May is kind of adding more to the record books.
But the thing he's most focused on is getting that Game 1 win.
Now the ball turns over to Logan Henderson later tonight in Game 2.
We'll see if he can follow suit. Back to you.
All right. Thanks, Louie.
It's time to 835, and no matter how the rest of the series goes,
it's a good time for some sweet treats.
And local bakeries are celebrating
the crew's success with Brewer's-themed desserts.
We have the owner of the Gingerbread House, Tracy Boer.
She's here to really give us a taste of some of these treats.
Good morning.
Good morning. Thank you for being here.
Hey, excited to be here.
It's an early start.
It's an early start, and it was a great game last night.
So, you know, here we go.
We've got all these fun little treats.
So we've been featuring all kinds
of brewery things always throughout the entire season.
But now with everything happening, everybody's, you know,
on the push to what can we get for our parties, right?
Yes.
Everything looks beautiful.
You got everything for the party.
Well, we've got a lot, and we keep making it in supply and demand.
And yesterday, you know, we were two hours of having no cookies.
But you know what?
We're back up, and production's happening.
So we've got cake that will be available.
We did a great American Family Field Brewer Stadium cake.
Can we just ask how long that takes?
Because that's a very intricate cake there.
Well, I didn't personally make it, but my amazing decorator did.
And I really have to say that, you know,
she can knock some stuff out within an hour.
The detail.
That's amazing.
The detail.
I think the sprinkles are the people.
The sprinkles are the people in the stadium.
And you guys can't even see on the back,
it literally says American Family.
This is a stunning cake.
I love it.
Thank you.
And then we've got, you know,
brewer cookies besides our little dot cakes that, you know,
You are the craze right now, yep.
So we did them in brewer colors.
We've got the great sprinkles on them.
They're great for abingos.
They're great for, like, the kids because you add a spoon,
they can cover it up if they don't finish it.
Cake pops.
We did a bar just for the brewers.
So it's pecans.
It's got a nice ganache, flourless brownie on top,
some more caramel and chocolate.
That's like three desserts in one.
Really decadent.
Yep, everybody's loving them.
And then we did some Oreo and raspberry, what we call mousse domes.
So that's all mousse inside it.
I want all of that.
You know, of course, we've got to do,
you know, the Rays and the Brewers.
Do we really have to?
Well, you know what, after last night's game, no way.
Right?
Well, you were there.
I was there.
How was that?
Amazing.
So the buzz, the people, people are so excited,
and it's such a genuine buzz.
So, you know, I said it last week,
we're bleeding blue and gold and we need to keep, you know,
it's an amazing feeling for the community, for the people.
What does it say for business? I was
going to say, what's the business idea?
So for business, I mean, you can't even imagine,
like people are coming in, they're excited, we're excited,
we're scared at the same time as they're grabbing up all our goodies.
We never want to be empty.
But it's just so exciting as a business owner, small business,
to be able to thrive, especially during this time.
You know, so it's been wonderful for me,
and I know it's been wonderful for so many other businesses.
I'm like, how many of these treats have you made?
I can't even tell you.
But I will tell you, like,
cupcakes by the thousand and cookies by the thousands.
Oh, my goodness.
And we're still making them.
So through all of the series, hopefully they sweep them,
and then we can do some really cool World Series cookies as well
and keep them going.
But we'll have plenty to choose from.
And you know what?
Stop on in or call.
Let them know where they can get these goodies.
Yeah, so Muskego, right on the corner of Moreland and College.
I'm the gingerbread house,
and it's the cute little farmhouse on the corner,
but I'm right on the corner on Moreland and College in Muskego.
Great, thank you.
Thanks for being here early after going to the game.
Yeah, not a problem.
I would never have missed it.
So, absolutely.
We've got more Brew Crew coverage right after the break.
Back
to Waco.
We're going to take you out to pick and say one more time
where Christina Vanzellis is helping you get ready
for your game to watch party.
Christina, what are you excited for tonight?
Oh, everything.
I'm looking forward to all of it.
But, Bria, this is the moment you have been waiting for.
Actually, me too.
How we are incorporating the racing sausages into your tailgate party,
your watch party.
Emily has us all figured out here
so creative I love what you've done okay so
tell us about your ideas here
with the racing sausage incorporation with this
all of the display yeah okay
so I kept it simple with the buns I grabbed the
fantastic brioche buns from the bakery
and then went after each different meat
type so we'll kind of go from this way to this way
so first I love this because
the chorizo is most easily accessible
as a ground sausage without the casing but
this makes it really easy you could translate it into a tortilla
or something like that it's ground
sausage peppers guacamole and just mash for just
a minute for a delicious combination oh I did put
a little queso dip in there we've got
the championship recipe is our secret sauce because
I figured it's fitting yeah we use that with the hot dogs
to make a really fun spin on a stadium
classic and then from there we picked out the Italian
and obviously had to go
Italian with that so our mama de pandy sauce
that's a local item fantastic
topped with our mozzarella
the roundies mozzarella cheese and the brand-new
microgreens that are available in store now
so you know add a little bit of
nutrition and a little more color there
so we've got the Italian and then for
Polish this is the Polish sausage you could
do this however you like with
peppers and onions I like to use
the advantages provided to me so I grabbed
this local jardinera sauce it is the one that is diced
so it is fantastic they
call it a relish beautiful in flavor
also all the toppings done for you so
you can just spend time drizzling it on top
and then last but not least we did
the Wisconsin brat a classic with the local beer
and brat mustard along with
topping it with cheese curd oh my goodness I also love the little
baseball plates that they're in you know had to go cute
and I'm looking at all these I don't know
which one I would even pick they all look
so good I mean what where's you what are you thinking
what's your favorite oh my gosh I think they're
all fun I'm really excited because I brought some
extra sausages so I'm gonna dice them up later
and put it to the test with the team and see if
they can pick their favorite too delicious well Emily thank you
so much so much creativity here
if you're inspired you've got options
for the racing sausages incorporation into however you're
watching the game tonight. Bria, we'll send it back
to you. Alright, thank you so much
Christina. Emily, she never
ceases to amaze me. She's absolutely
incredible and so are you. Thank you
for waking up early with us as well, getting
our viewers ready for their game
to watch parties. Steph,
what's that tailgating forecast looking like?
Looking spectacular, Bria.
Thanks for asking. So much excitement
going into game two. Now this
morning has been a bit foggy, especially
north of Milwaukee. Our view in Milwaukee
right now showing just almost a thin
layer of haze. That's about it.
We've lucked out in the city itself, sitting at 49 degrees right
now, so it's a bit cool as you get your morning started.
Maybe you're already starting prep for
your own viewing party later on tonight.
You'll need the layers, but just know by later this
afternoon, upper 60s in the forecast.
Just quick check of visibility again. Big improvements up and
down the lakeshore, so we really should see
that fog completely out of here in the next hour or so.
We've got some cloud cover moving in.
That's really the only change from yesterday. More of a partly,
even mostly cloudy sky at times.
There is another system out towards the west. All that is going to
do for us here locally is bring us a drop
in temperatures by Monday. A quick check of sky
vision which we can really breeze through here.
It's just a few of these scattered clouds as the
day goes on. A little breezier but also warmer today in the upper 60s.
Same with overnight and
Sunday. More of a partly cloudy sky.
Temperature Sunday in the low 70s and then after that passing
cold front is when we drop for monday
your tailgating forecast showing a mostly cloudy sky
but temperatures in the middle and upper 60s just plan on that breeze
and then after the game you'll
need the layers again because temperatures will
be falling through the 50s your full six-day
planner looking pretty good for today even warmer than for tomorrow
and then Monday we see that
brief drop heading into the 50s
but after that we are gradually going to continue to climb we're
back to 70 essentially by Wednesday, Bria, so not too bad.
All right, Seth, this is the moment we
have all been waiting for.
Everyone has heard it, the viral Milwaukee Brewers song. It has been
in everybody's ears. Everybody's.
It's been in mine, it's been in yours. This has gotten us all
hyped for the World Series. The artist is here,
Fonam, thank you for being here. Thank you for
having me. How does it feel hearing
the Milwaukee Brewers sing your song? Before I say anything,
I want to shout out, give a big shout out to my producer,
my beat maker, 4 and 4 Arrogant,
because it takes two, you know, it's not just me,
it's the beat maker too that makes the song too,
so I want to give a big shout out to my producer,
my beat maker, 4 and 4 Arrogant, so shout out to
you, bro. A very humble man, clearly.
So Seth, how does this feel, because a lot of people,
everybody's talking about this.
It's a blessing, I say every time it's just a blessing, I'm grateful,
I'm thankful for my management team and my parents and my brothers,
my sisters, you know,
just everybody that's around me that want to see me do better.
And just I'm just glad I can be myself.
You know, that's all.
I'm just glad I can be myself doing this.
OK, and where did the song come from?
I mean, I'm sure your children have probably heard it.
I mean, we've heard multiple of your songs and we love them all.
Well, originally.
You're talking about the zoo one.
I am talking about the zoo.
That's where it started.
So originally, it started from the Milwaukee County Zoo,
you know, because it was a free day coming up.
I'm like, I'm going to make a song about the Milwaukee County Zoo
because I just feel like I can make a song about everything.
I just like just challenging myself like that.
So somebody in my comments was like,
you should make a song about the Milwaukee Brewers.
I can't think of it. I can't think of the name right now.
But shout out to bro. Shout out to him that told me
to make the song about the Milwaukee Brewers.
So I made the song about the Milwaukee Brewers,
and I dropped it, shot the video, and that was history.
The rest is history.
The rest is history.
All right.
Okay, before you get to the—is there a big moment
that—what has surprised you the most?
I want to say the players singing my song.
The players singing my song.
That's probably the biggest moment.
Those players.
That's crazy.
All right, I love that smile.
Keep it.
Okay, we're going to step out of the way, and we're going
to let you do your thing live for our viewers here on Fox 6.
This is Chris and Jillian, Milwaukee Brewers by phone number.
