3 people shot at Tempe house party, police say

Back in the valley, three people go to the hospital after a shooting at a house party. It happened overnight in Tempe, near Southern and Rural, and apparently police were already on the way there for a noise complaint. Taylor Wertz joins us live from Tempe with more tonight. Hi, Taylor. Hey, Brian. People who were at last night's party here at this home say there was some kind of argument that unfolded between someone living in the home and someone they didn't know, an argument that ended with gunshots. As you can see, the scene is still active right now with Tempe police on site investigating. We know this happened around 4 30 this morning. Tempe police say they responded to this home after calls about noise at the party turned into calls about a shooting. They found three people with gunshot wounds who were taken to the hospital. The people who were at the party say the victims are three of their friends, a woman and two men. The woman is expected to be okay while police say the men are in critical condition. Their friends say at least one of the men is still unconscious in the ICU. It was a scary morning for all involved. The arguing happened in front. They went outside and they just started shooting and we all just kind of like dropped to the floor and ducked and tried to go in the room with the guy that was shot. We were like calling 911 and like making sure he didn't bleed out. There was a lot of random people that shouldn't have been there. to happen. My friend is in the hospital right now. So praying for him. Tempe police say no arrests have been made yet. Neighbors tell us this area is usually pretty quiet and safe, so they are hoping that shooter will be caught soon.
