Jordanian Interior Minister gives update on deadly church shooting in Karak

This is a big incident that was a pain to all the Jordanians. The Jordanians have buried Dr. Mohammed Aliksu, the ninth martyr, in a scene that indicates how loyal are the Jordanians for their country. May Allah bestow his mercy on the martyr. The Jordanians have drawn up a scene of loyalty and dedication to the country and to the affected families that reflects the strength of the Jordanian people who rejected completely and abandoned all acts of violence and terrorism. We are all affected by that. Our unity is very solid and never be affected by these acts. The King of Jordan has mentioned that no place for anyone who wants to create a rift between the Jordanians. We need all to work hard in order to face these extremist thoughts and identity. No justification for violence or terrorism, and this is the responsibility of all establishments, educational and social and religious establishments in the Kingdom of Jordan, to strengthen the importance of citizenship. What has happened is a cornerstone in the path of the efforts aiming at putting an end to terrorism and uprooting it from our society. We need to face this campaign against extremism and terrorism in all sectors. As a Minister of Information, I'd like to say that facing these people and facing the rumors are quite important in protecting the society. Wrong information can create rifts and wrong information can make problems. That's why we need to make sure that all the information given to the people are correct. We need not to go into deep discussions about things that will increase hatred and divisions among the Jordanians. We should not allow terrorism and extremism to achieve anything in our society. Citizenship is only measured by how to be loyal to the country. The Jordanians are very loyal to the country and the terrorism and extremism will never be allowed To identify the relations between the components of the Jordanian society, we are all under the sovereignty of the state. We are quite keen to see such a terrorist act again in our country. The government and the Kingdom of Jordan has a strategy which aims at not allowing extremism and terrorism to continue.
