542, it is 48 degrees outside.
We are a cooler beginning to the day today.
In fact, it's going to be slightly cooler
overall as we head through the day.
When you compare it to yesterday, where we were in the upper 60s,
today it's going to be the low 60s.
So we drop about 6 degrees overall.
Still pretty nice for this time of the year, I'll tell you that much.
A little bit of light rain continues
to affect areas in northern Michigan,
just some passing lighter sprinkles.
And I think we're going to see some passing lighter sprinkles
or some lighter showers as we head into Thursday.
So take a look at this.
Wednesday through the afternoon we're dry,
so the next 48 hours we're looking good.
Now here comes our first chance of rain in about a dozen days.
So this takes us through, here's Thursday lunchtime.
So you can see a bit of that green tracking across.
So some lighter green, which means lighter showers that make
their way through as we head through the afternoon.
Thursday, not a washout by any means, but just our first chance
to see some rain in quite some time around here.
Let's take you hour by hour through the day today.
So this will help us plan out
our Tuesday upper 40s through the next several hours.
As we move through the afternoon,
those high temperatures will get to right around 61 or 62 degrees.
And then as we check not just the hour-by-hour forecast,
but we'll call it the school forecast for the kids,
try to plan things out for the parents here.
It's going to be chilly, waiting for the bus,
but a bit better getting home.
So how do you plan for that?
I don't know.
You know, pants and a light jacket,
and then they can shed the jacket later today.
Patchy fog very likely as we head overnight tonight.
So after a break from that this morning,
we may see a bit more of that as we head through this week.
Time now for the weather quiz.
