Let's talk about what to expect coming up
as we head toward trick-or-treat time on Halloween.
So, I welcome you to my laboratory here.
Here's what we've got lined up for you.
So, sunset, by the way, is at 635, coming up on Saturday evening.
We'll have mild temperatures.
It's not going to be an extreme one way or the other.
So, it's definitely not going to be cold.
It's not going to be hot, kind of right in the middle.
But the problem, obviously, is rain.
So, showers and storms are likely kind of off
and on across the area through at least midday.
it's just tough you know is it going to be ending at six o'clock
or maybe it ends you know at two
it's just a little bit going to be touch
and go as we head towards Saturday so just have a plan B
maybe get a couple of those ponchos they really
are really inexpensive and you can kind of save
the day uh for just a couple
of bucks right all right uh dense fog advisory that's what i wanted
to tell you about College Station, Brenham
and Chapel Hill uh Burton back down to Bellville
and Sealy, Columbus you guys are under
a dense fog advisory until 8 a.m with visibility values down
to about one quarter to one half a mile.
And now even though not included here in the dense fog
advisory per se, some places like Katy
and let's say traveling into maybe more of the rural areas
like over to Monaville and those spots and heading up to Hempstead,
probably a pretty good chance
that you're going to see some fog in your location as well.
Temperature wise, it is warmer than
yesterday in a lot of spots.
71 for the south side of Houston right now, 72 in Pearland, 75 on the
island, some 60s off toward the north.
I mean, overall, it's not so bad. We've had some passing
showers here in this area all morning long around Liverpool
and heading up to around the Fresno,
Arcola, Manville, Iowa Colony area.
None of this is heavy, but there are going to be some slick
sections of Highway 288 and Highway 6 down there around the Brazoria
and Galveston County area.
We do have this wind flow coming back in from the southeast,
and so that means you'll feel
more humidity for our coastal counties today
and for many areas south of Interstate 10 and a lot
of this rain will end up pushing farther inland
as the morning wears on. So we do have a 30%
rain chance in today's forecast here for you.
Showers or an isolated thunderstorm possible
tomorrow down to just 10%. So that'll be nice.
But then the rain chance jumps
right back up for Friday,
late Friday and into the first half of Saturday at least.
