This definitely deserves a happy dance. Oh my gosh, yum!
Hi Bold Bakers!
We're almost to the end
of a great year, 2017, so
we thought that we would
share some highlights of the year
and also some of your favorite videos. And we wanted to share
some fun facts, like you guys watched more than 130 million minutes
of Gemma's videos,
which is pretty amazing.
And we have received over 100,000 comments in the last year,
which is just crazy.
And BiggerBolderBaking.com just got
its one millionth visitor, so we really appreciate
you guys visiting the site.
Now I just want to make sure that you do keep
an eye on BiggerBolderBaking.com because I
often publish recipes over there that don't make it onto YouTube.
You can comment and talk to me over there,
so just keep an eye on it and see what fun
new things appear.
Ok, now let's go ahead and share our favorites.
So my favorite video of 2017 was No Fry Fried Ice Cream,
and I just love this video so much
because it actually really did taste like fried ice cream,
but it was just like crushed
up corn flakes, caramelized with sugar, and it's just so tasty.
So my favorite video wasn't one video,
it was actually a whole lot of videos.
It was your crazy dough series.
So everything from the crazy dough bread series,
which allowed you to make one bread dough
into pizza and cinnamon rolls,
and then also the crazy cookie dough series with endless
possibilities of cookies, and most recently,
your crazy cupcake episode.
So that's a really good choice,
and I agree with you wholeheartedly, but guess what?
The first episode of 2018 is actually going to be crazy muffins.
And they're going to be really good.
Now of course we cannot forget about
a very important member of our team, Waffles.
And he had a video this year as well.
Waffles and Gemma made a whole variety
of homemade frozen dog treats, and of course
Waffles ate his share of the treats before
the end of the episode, but they had a lot
of fun making them, so go check it out.
So one thing that we also did in 2017,
we did a limited series called Gemma Eats, where
I ate in Ireland, in Barcelona, and in Disneyland.
It was a lot of fun, and it was nice
to get outside of the kitchen and do something a
little bit different.
And that's where you met Gemma's culinary assistant
for the first time, Olivia, who
you may see a lot in next year's shows.
So yes, Olivia is a new member of our team,
also I cannot forget about my cameraman, Ira,
who shoots and edits every episode.
Now of course, we have tons of big
and bold things planned for you in 2018.
We do, but we also want to hear from you,
so let me know in the comments below what
new recipes, what new series,
anything you want to see on Bigger Bolder Baking, let me
know and we'll try and do it.
As always, thank you so much for watching,
and thank you for an amazing 2017.
And we'll see you back here next week, for more Bigger Bolder Baking.
