New this morning, Seattle police are investigating
a shooting that injured two men in South Seattle.
Sam Campbell is in Rainier Valley where police say
this gun violence unfolded at a bus stop.
Sam.
John, yes, that's right.
Seattle police say it started with a fight on the bus and it continued
when the three men got off on this stop on South Holden Street.
Around 10 o'clock last night, crime tape surrounded
that bus stop with evidence markers noting at least 12 gunshots.
Police say the suspect shot a 26-year-old man in the wrist.
and a 33-year-old man in the leg,
and then took off going west on Holden Street.
This man tells us he saw the aftermath.
About 7 to 11 shots fired,
and then the last one was one shot at the end.
And a lot of cops started showing up,
and we were like, what's going on?
Because of the gunshots,
and we saw one guy got loaded up into the ambulance.
Police brought up the K9 to look for that shooter,
but they found no trace and no arrests reported as of this morning.
Seattle police are not releasing
a description of that suspect right now,
but they say the two victims' injuries are not life-threatening,
so their word will be crucial for detectives moving forward.
In the meantime, if you know something,
Seattle police are asking you to contact them and come forward.
In Rainier Valley, Sam Campbell, FOX 13 News.
