Resurfaced footage shows Mary Peltola demand criminal penalties for misleading voters

It should be a criminal offense to lie or mislead an electorate. Yes, yes, let's work for that. Good job, good job, good job. You know we only have three members of our federal delegation. We've all got to be working. There's only six states out of 50 that have three members in their federal delegation. We've all got to be pulling hard in the same direction and right now we've only got one working for us. Out of a hundred people in the Senate, three are in the middle. Two years ago it was six. I would like to be the fourth person in the middle. I want to back up Lisa Murkowski, not hide behind her. Thank you very much. 8,000 registered Super Voter Democrats did not turn out to vote. I lost by 7,800 votes. We've got to get everybody out to vote. We've got to make sure we're all registered. We haven't been taken off the voter registration list. We've got to make sure we know where our voting place is, that we have a plan to vote, and that we're getting our 10 or 100 best friends. They have a voting plan and a plan of action. We're going to do this. The fact that this room is wall-to-wall packed with regular Alaskans, you know, every event is like this, where people who have never come to a political event are coming out of the room. It is a moral moment. It is now or never.
