Newly unsealed court documents show the late Raymond "R.C." Horsch once provided federal agents with information about child prostitution, drug trafficking and fraud.
The July 2012 documents unsealed on Thursday show the information was provided after Horsch was arrested and ultimately pleaded guilty to federal drug and firearms charges stemming from marijuana grown in the basement of his then-Chalfont home and two sawed-off shotguns.

Well, now to new developments in the Olney home investigation.
Newly unsealed court documents reveal the information that the late
R.C. Horsch gave to federal agents as part of a plea deal.
Now, Horsch died back in 2025 at the age of 82.
His home on Westview Avenue in Olney is now the focal point
of an investigation into several missing or unidentified women.
Let's get right over to Action News investigative
reporter Chad Rodelli joining us live in the studio
with details from those court documents.
Chad.
Christy, federal prosecutors on Horsch's 2009 drug and weapons case
say he provided reliable and credible information about cocaine
and marijuana trafficking, child prostitution, and fraud.
It was that cooperation that led to a reduced sentence.
Defense attorney Bill Brennan, who was not involved in the case,
says information about child prostitution or trafficking is major
and significant to federal investigators.
In my experience, 40 years of doing this,
in the panoply of crimes that you can provide information on.
Crimes involving children
and terrorism are at the absolute top of the heat.
Court documents revealed due to Horsch's guarded contact
with the targets in the child sex crimes,
investigators said they couldn't identify
the targets to further the investigation.
And prosecutors revealed there
was no evidence Horsch engaged in crimes against minors.
Horsch's evidence regarding drug trafficking
was said to be dated and of limited use.
And the information provided in alleged fraud,
while helpful, did not lead to any indictments
since the targets were already
in federal custody for the fraud allegations.
Brennan says that was still likely valuable information
and in addition to his overall truthfulness.
One area he provided information that was used
by law enforcement for a pending case and that's...
Probably what got him over the goal line.
No names of targets were detailed in the court filings,
but the credible and reliable cooperation led
the government to drop the drug manufacturing charge.
Horsch was arrested after authorities found
a marijuana grow operation at his then-Chalfant home.
Three guns, including two sawed-off shotguns
and ammunition, were also found.
He pled guilty to the remaining drug and gun charges
and was sentenced to 54 months behind bars and forfeited.
The weapons and homes.
If I had a guy facing 240 and he walked out with 54,
yeah, I'd take that all day.
Twice on Sunday.
It was also concluded that Horsch had skill
and intelligence far beyond those who usually commit crime.
While he used those skills for lawful pursuits,
they noted he remained involved in criminal activity.
Sarah?
Interesting development.
Chad, thank you.
