And Lisa, you spoke to a number of Stewart fans tonight.
Yeah, we did lots of fans, and here at Black Hole Comics in Norwood,
you'll find plenty of X-Men, even some Star Trek,

End of an era.
Engage.
The end of an era that spanned through the galaxy.
The news of Patrick Stewart's passing.
I was wondering why I suddenly had 25 texts on my phone.
Rocking his fan base.
An actor who defined a couple of very important roles in pop culture.
The actor best known for two iconic roles.
Captain Picard in Star Trek The Next Generation,
the Star Trek films,
and Professor Charles Xavier, or Professor X,
In the X-Men film franchise.
Well, X-Men, he kind of looked like
Professor Xavier with the shaved head,
and he's about the right age.
And as an actor, depending on the material
that was given based on X-Men,
he was able to portray the character
as you would expect him to be on the screen.
From Black Hole Comics in Norwood to Farthest Star Sake in Medfield,
fans are remembering Stewart.
Complete with a special Star Trek viewing
at the very sci-fi themed brewery and taproom.
We're definitely big Trekkies.

believed to be his final role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I'm sure he'll, you know, on the screen he'll get to walk off to.
Big salutes somehow, you know, they work it.
Returning as Professor X one last time.
Avengers Doomsday is coming out soon, and he's in that, I know.
So I think that's probably his last role on screen,
which is pretty monumental.
But yeah, it's a big loss.
Stewart was 86 years old.
In Norwood tonight, I'm Lisa Greshy for local station Boston 25 News.
Sad loss for sure, Lisa. Thank you so much.
