I can hear you, Derricka. Hello,
good morning to you. This is Dana Meyers.
Derricka was asking how are we going to be watching the parade today,
and we're probably going to be in person.
I know you likely will be in person as well.
Yeah? Yes. Okay, okay.
Dana was just telling Nicola and me,
you got here at 3 o'clock this morning.
That's okay.
Everyone knows.
But you know what?
There's people just like that.
There's nothing even fair.
You're not alone.
Look at all the people here.
I know.
I know.
You're not alone.
I wanted to make sure I got the parking spot I wanted.
Well, you did.
You got VIP parking.
You had some stops this morning, Dana, before you came here.
Can you show our viewers what you stopped
to grab before you came to the park?
I stopped at two gas stations out in Oconomowoc,
and I got five copies of the edition.
Friday's edition that I love it. Undeniable.
You see it right there. And then you have Jackson
Cheerio holding up the commissioner's trophy.
I'm about to pay it for that. I'm freaking out right
now. I'm just trying to maintain my composure.
I have his jersey. I'm a fan. I was I got a couple
extra for some friends who may not be able to get some.
So tell us what it means to you. You're here
early. You're rocking your swag.
You know, you're you have a lot to look forward to. It's going to
It's going to be a big day.
Yeah, I'm a lifelong Brewers fan.
My family...
I don't even remember my first game
because that's all we've been going to them all my life and
And, um...
the first one that I can remember was when
the tightrope walker went across County Stadium at the top.
Oh wow. That happened? Yeah, it happened in the 70s.
I have to just show you now. And they made it!
He, I googled that last week to try to get the date.
It was July 4th, 1974.
Oh, that's so fun! I asked my brother to see if he could find
The pictures from it, because I know we have pictures of it.
So that's my earliest memory of going to the game.
Dana, you have so many memories as being a Brewers fan.
I have to ask you, like, there's so much going on today.
We know that there's the rally inside.
There's the parade.
Like, what are you most excited for today?
I wanted to get into the amphitheater,
but I didn't get tickets, just to repeat, because
I was there in 82, when Robert Nyant went out on his motorbike,
and just kind of relive
all that experience again.
That's okay.
And I actually did it.
If you got a ticket, I'll do it again.
Look a girl up.
Look a girl up.
There will be screens throughout
the grounds, though, so if you can't go in.
Yeah, I plan to go to the PMO Pavilion,
and I'm meeting some other friends throughout
the morning as well.
But I had to get here early to get up.
Oh, thank you so much. We're so glad that you're here.
Thanks for joining us live. You're our first guest of the morning,
which makes sense because you were the first person at this park.
Thank you so much. It's so nice to meet you. Thank you.
Thank you so much. I did it. I'll walk you back to your car. It's okay.
Was this live? This is live. That was live. And you crushed it.
Derricka, we had to fill you in,
dear sweet Dana here was a little nervous, but
But you did a great job.
We are still live.
You did wonderful.
I don't know, I don't know.
You're amazing.
Here, we'll walk you back to your car, okay?
All right, thank you.
All right, Derek, we'll send you back to you.
We're going to get Dana back in her warm, cozy car.
Talk about the...
