House of Torment: GDA anchors get spooked

We recently got to put our braveness to the test at the House of Torment here in Austin. Braveness, that's quotes. Right. Sorry about all the screaming. A lot of jump scares, a lot of... Sorry about all the screaming. You might want to turn the volume down just a little bit right now. Here's a look at how it went. Have you spent any amount of time in Austin or Central Texas? You know, House of Torment, Mike Frost here with the house itself. Thank you so much for having us. You're right in the middle of your prime time. Again, this has become, I'd call it an institution around here. This is where people know they need to go to get scared to death this time of year. Yeah, when you think of Halloween, you think House of Torment here in Austin. Like, where Austin's the longest running haunted house. Actually, Austin's the only, like, professional haunted house. And when you come here, you can see the detail, the quality. And hear it. Yeah, you can hear it. They're ready. The house is ready. We just went through. We came out on the other side of that. I don't know who decided I had to go first. That was awesome. He was running through it. I was waiting, I wasn't waiting for you as much because if I hadn't, I'd have been, you'd have been carrying me through that thing. I thought I got to be a little tougher than that, but some would scare me and then I'd be like, oh, it's about to get shields. Yeah. And then I knew, yeah, sometimes I'd trip the thing. But anyway, it was, it was amazing. Yes. The, the, the performers, I don't know the, with the right, they're, they're amazing. And room after room after room. Yeah, it just kept going, yes. And then we got stuck in a room. Because Dave led us the wrong way. Dave's like, what are we doing? All the characters. If we didn't get a little help, we would still be in there. I was like, well, this is how it ends. This is how my life ends. Because they're not letting you out. It was a lot of fun. I broke a sweat. I was 10 out of 10 performance, I would suggest. House of Torment. It was really fun. Delivers, as always. We sort of live to tell the tale. So there it is. Happy Halloween. It's Halloween! I'm still have nightmares performances. I can't they're amazing. They're amazing. Wonder how long it takes to get dressed and dressed and ready and they're in character. They're in it. And we got at the end there. The whole time I'm thinking to myself, it's not real, it's not real, it's not real, it's not real. And we had a light. Yeah, we had a light. Yes, we did. It's like ten times worse than what we're seeing. Oh, yes, yes, because you can't see them coming all of a sudden, bam, they're right there. But worse means great if you're in the mood for a scare.
