The Supreme Court just slammed a door
that Joe Biden spent four years propping open with your
paycheck. Oh, and the New York Times,
the actual New York Times, just proved Donald J. Trump right.
Now, somewhere in Manhattan,
an editor is breathing very heavily into a paper bag.
You guys remember when President Trump warned Alaska Senate ballot
was built to confuse voters?
Democrats called him paranoid, a liar, a dictator, a king.
A normal Tuesday. Well,
the Times now reports Democrat operatives went scouring Alaska for a
second man named Dan Sullivan.
Not a better candidate, not a better idea, a name tag.
Their whole strategy was a name tag, guys.
Now, somewhere in Alaska, a guy scraping ice off of
his windshield just got recruited for the United States Senate
because his parents liked the name
Now, this
This is not a campaign, folks.
This is a game of guess who.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden's deportation pause button,
cases parked on a shelf for years
while you cover the parking fee, is dead.
Texas fought it.
The Supreme Court buried it.
Baltimore, New Haven, even Columbus fought to save it.
Three cities that can't keep
a stoplight working assembling to protect a loophole.
Huh.
Real Avengers energy out there, guys.
Marvel would be proud.
Oh, and then it gets wilder.
Federal agents raided Ilhan Omar's home. Unsealed court filings
list her under a completely different name.
Florida Congressman Randy Fine says the moment
investigators confirm she's not a lawful citizen,
he moves to expel her. Oh, that's right, guys.
Congress kicked out George Santos before any convictions.
So why is Ilhan Omar still voting?
Still collecting $174,000 a year salary?
If you were to get investigated at Walmart,
you'd be on leave before your lunch break.
You get investigated in Congress, you get a
committee seat and a reserved parking spot,
and your salary direct deposited every two weeks.
Must be nice. Oh, and Lisa Murkowski,
she picked this exact week to tell her voters
to back a Democrat for Alaska governor. Flawless timing, folks.
Kinda like pulling the fire alarm during your own team's touchdown.
Oh, and...
President Trump flew into Texas,
torched Joe Biden's energy rules costing $45 billion,
and then single-handedly handed Ken Paxton the pen
to make it permanent. Yeah, small footnote,
guys. Oh, the rest of the media?
Busy covering some squirrel in a tree somewhere. Now, before
we dive in, guys, if you or someone you love needs Medicare help,
Chapter offers completely
free guidance, real people, plain English, zero pressure.
Hit the link in the description

I'm even being told that the weekends have much shorter hold times.
Phone number is 909-563-8279
and the average senior saving about 1100 bucks a year.
Now, if you're new here, go ahead and hit
subscribe. It's totally free just to click,
you know, just go ahead and go ahead and move that
cursor right there or use your thumb or your index finger.
And I promise you it moves faster
than Joe Biden's deportation docket ever did.
And if we happen to deliver, go ahead and hit
the like button on the way out. Unlike
Washington, we actually take feedback.
Somebody asked me to try a different shirt,
so I did. What do you think?
Anyway, picture a courtroom.
A deportation case lands on the judge's desk. Under Joe Biden's
2024 rule, that judge could actually stamp it paused
and kind of slide it under a dusty back
shelf. Not won, not lost, just kind of parked.
So while that file sat there collecting dust,
the person in it stayed right here in America.
For months. For years.
Joe Biden basically invented a third verdict. Not guilty. Not
deported. Just, eh, we'll get to it.
Now, Texas said absolutely not. Texas took the
fight all the way to the Supreme Court.
Oh, and the Supreme Court, they refused to bring
Joe Biden's rule back. The shelf is closed, folks.
The file comes back down and somebody
finally has to make a decision.
So I would say that this is a massive, big
Huge win for Texas. In fact,
it is a big win for President Donald J. Trump, and it is a crushing
loss for anybody who thought later counted as a legal ruling.
Spoiler alert, it doesn't.
Now, what does pause really mean?
I mean, we really need to get to the bottom of this.
Years of limbo, a second shot
at asylum through some other federal agency,
and plenty of people who simply disappeared.
Now, guess who fought to keep that loophole open?
Baltimore, guys. New Haven, Columbus.
Three city halls that can't get the trash picked up on time.
They showed up to defend the world's longest waiting room.
Priorities, right? Priorities.
The suspected game plan. Stall.
Wait for Democrats to grab power again. Hand out amnesty. Collect a
fresh batch of voters. Follow the money, guys.
It never lies. Oh, and that money was yours to
begin with. Picture your paycheck, right?
Now, picture a slice getting cut out of it every
Every single month, stamped.
Pending. The Supreme Court's message is pretty simple.
You qualify, you stay. You don't,
you go. Revolutionary concept, I know, right?
Quick favor, guys. Go ahead and think of the
one person in your life who always says, that's my tax money.
You know exactly what I'm talking
about. Send this video to them right now.
They've waited their entire life to be right about this,
so let's go ahead and let them have their moment.
We need to review Joe Biden's energy plan. Step
Step one, cancel the leases.
Step two, block drilling in Alaska.
Step three, kill the pipelines.
Step four, act shocked when a tank of gas costs more than a
steak dinner. Genius, guys. Genius.
And who got hit the hardest? Who got hit the hardest, guys?
Anyone? Oh, yeah, the little guys.
Small Texas oil and gas producers buried under Joe Biden's
methane rules. This is a stack of paperwork that's
so tall you could ski down this thing.
So, of course, President Trump flew into Texas
and fed the whole stack to a shredder.
About $45 billion in costs, gone.
Roughly 210 million barrels of oil unlocked.
Texas energy, under crooked Joe Biden,
Democrats crushed the small oil and gas operators. There
are small operators. There are great operators,
too. I know so many of them.
with crippling regulations and methane that caused prices to skyrocket,
the methane problem.
Tonight, I'm officially terminating Biden's expensive
and unnecessary methane regulations
to save consumers and energy producers.
$45 billion in costs unlock vast quantities of Texas
natural gas, produce 210 million barrels of oil.
And we've been working on this for a long time.
We were working on this with Lee Zeldin.
We were working on this before the war broke out,
which would really bring down the cost.
This was something we've been working on. Statutorily,
it takes a little while.
But if James Talofrico gets in, your energy costs will skyrocket.
He personally wrote the Texas version of the Green News scam,
which would annihilate millions
of Texas jobs. He has a Green News scam.
You know, we went through a Green News scam.
Now, picture a rusted West Texas pump jack,
frozen for years, creaking, and then kind of like
nodding back to life like it just heard some good news, because it did.
Joe Biden's green plan,
it was a shell game. Your money under one cup.
Scratch that. Joe Biden's green plan,
it was a shell game. Your money was under one cup.
Your gas bill was under the other cup. And
then somehow you lost both.
Now, President Trump, he wants Ken Paxton, Senator Paxton, if Texas
To lock it in for good.
Energy is national security folks,
let Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom near it and I can tell
you right now, America gets California's gas prices across
the nation, all 50 states.
Bring a cosigner with you to the pump.
So Florida Congressman Randy Fine,
he just drew a line in the sand, actually it was more
like wet concrete.
His promise is pretty simple.
The moment investigators confirm Ilhan Omar
is not a lawful U.S. citizen, he moves to expel her
from Congress. Oh, immediately. No task force, no study group.
No, let's circle back after the
holidays. None of that nonsense.
Fine says her story doesn't add up. According to Fine, Ilhan
Omar has said that she was too old to become
a citizen through her father. And then the dates
shifted, and Fine questions whether
her father was even eligible himself.
So now, this is a big if.
Investigators are not finished.
But I need you to picture Randy Fine at the Capitol podium,
folder under his arm, finger hovering over the button,
waiting on one green light.
Well, if it turns out that Ilhan Omar is not an American citizen,
she has no right to serve in Congress,
and the evidence is pretty overwhelming.
She has publicly stated multiple times that she was too old in order.
Meanwhile, Washington's
official position seems
to be, let's not rush things.
Oh, it's funny,
they rush your gas prices just fine.
Now, quick question, folks, if your boss
Had this many questions about your paperwork,
would your badge still open the front door?
I don't think so. Exactly.
Now, picture a quiet street in Minnesota. Kids, bikes, mailboxes,
then black SUVs. One after another,
federal agents slamming the doors, and they're all from HSI
walking up to Ilhan Omar's front door.
This is not the neighborhood watch. Then, of course,
the court filings came out.
Newly unsealed and right at the top, in bold, a name.
Ilhan Noor Saeed Elmi. Now,
picture the nameplate on her office door in Washington. Different name.
Now, most of us can't even remember our own Wi-Fi password. Allegedly,
some people misplaced an entire name.
Oh, and it doesn't stop there, guys. Questions about her
sister. Questions about her family history.
Questions about her birth date. Questions just
stacked like dirty dishes in a college dorm.
So, to be very clear, guys, these are questions.
They're not verdicts. The investigation is still running.
But you need two forms of ID to get a library card.
This paperwork has more plot twists than
a daytime soap opera. Anybody remember Days of Our Lives?
Dynasty? Anyway, CNN, strangely quiet,
must be a technical issue, lasting several years.
Right now, you're probably thinking,
surely somebody checked. Don't call me Shirley.
A background check. Fingerprints. Something. Nope,
none of that. Members of Congress,
they don't get security clearances. None.
They win an election,
and access to classified briefings just comes with the office keys.
They sign a pledge promising not to leak secrets.
That's the betting pledge.
Kinda like summer camp and the honor system bundled into one.
Like an honorary burrito.
Anyway, picture a nightclub bouncer.
He checks every ID in line, flashlight, magnifying glass,
calls your mom. Then someone strolls up wearing a congressional pin.
He just waves them right on through.
A substitute teacher gets fingerprinted.
A school bus driver gets a background check.
A teenager scooping ice cream at the county fair.
They need a food handler's card. A member of
Congress, they get a parking spot.
Let that land for a second, guys. This is not a glitch.
This is the system working exactly as it was designed.
Meanwhile, you guys remember George
Santos made up his college, made up his jobs,
pretty much made up himself. In December 2023,
In 2023, the House threw him out before any conviction.
So the rulebook exists.
They've used it before.
Begin tonight with now former representative
George Santos expelled from Congress.
The vote was bipartisan and an historic one.
Santos becoming only the sixth person ever
to be kicked out of the House of Representatives.
Already, his congressional office has been stripped of his name.
This afternoon, a worker removed
the sign replacing it with one that reads Office of
the Third Congressional District of New York.
We do have team coverage tonight breaking down what's next
and reaction from constituents.
But first, let's get to CBS 2's Lisa Rosner.
She's live in Washington, D.C.
She's been covering this for us there all week.
Lisa.
Well, Alice and Maurice,
lawmakers that I spoke with immediately after the vote,
told me they now feel a sense of relief.
They far exceeded the two-thirds majority needed
to make this a reality.
But New York Republican lawmakers say this is not a victory.
They say this needed to be done to restore the integrity of Congress.
On this vote, the yeas are 311, the nays are 114.
With two recorded as present.
The moment George Santos went from congressman
to the sixth member of the House to be expelled,
he shook some colleagues' hands and walked out past a crush of media.
What do you have to say to your constituents?
He was silent, but his Long Island constituents
who traveled to see it are not.
We took the trash out today.
Leave it there. The moment when it happened, we just were elated.
And, you know, everything that we've been fighting for,
you know, finally it happened.
Calls for the 35-year-old to resign began late last year
after constituents learned he fabricated his life story.
Two weeks ago, a scathing ethics committee
investigation found he defrauded campaign donors,
prompting more lawmakers to call on Santos to step down.
I feel that there was certainly enough.
The bottom line here is they produced the receipts.
All New York Republican representatives,
except two from upstate, voted to expel him.
Are you relieved?
Yeah, there's some relief that goes into it,
but we know we have a lot of work to do.
It's a sad day. It's a sad day for this institution.
It should have never come to this.
Santos had every single opportunity to hold himself accountable.
It wasn't about seeing George Santos walk out the door
so much as it was about restoring integrity of the institution.
You had a guilty plea of his treasurer.
You had a guilty plea of a former campaign staffer.
And you had an ethics report that was damning.
Santos still has not made any comment,
but right before the expulsion vote, he did tell us this.
I'm 35 years old. I have a lot of life left to live,
and I can't live off the shadows of mistakes I made.
And, you know, if I could do it different,
I would have definitely separated myself from some people,
would have not gotten involved with certain people.
But, you know, this is part of, I guess, God's plan.
Now, look at Ilhan Omar. Federal investigation,
still voting, still on committee, still collecting
$174,000 a year. You get investigated at work?
Security walks you to your car holding a cardboard
box with your stapler in it. Here's the catch, guys.
Expulsion takes two-thirds vote of the
House. This means Democrats, they would have to cross over.
Hold your breath. Actually,
don't do that. The machine protecting the machine, folks.
And if this is ever proven, should she?
Have to pay back every one of those $174,000 annual salary paychecks.
Let that land guys.
Let it land. So the day comes and then what, what?
Picture two doors side by side. Door number one
says Congress. If she's expelled,
that seat goes empty and house seats, they don't get handed out
like party favors. Minnesota would have to hold a special election.
Voters decide. Door number two,
To federal court, losing a seat in Congress and losing citizenship.
These are totally different fights, guys.
If citizenship was gained by fraud,
the government has to prove it in federal court.
It's called denaturalization.
Now, it's a big word.
It's a slow process.
Unfortunately, different hallways,
different judges, different clocks.
Washington moves fast on exactly two things,
its own vacations and its own fundraisers.
Pretty much anything else
pretty much will end up taking a number.
Now, let's go ahead and rewind for a few months, okay?
President Donald Trump,
he looks at Alaska's Senate ballot and says,
This is going to confuse voters
and it's going to hurt Senator Dan Sullivan. His Justice Department
sued. Oh, and the reaction?
Picture a wall of TV screens, every one of them screaming,
paranoid, liar, dictator.
A dictator for reading a ballot? Folks, real dictators,
they don't file paperwork in federal court.
They tend to skip that step.
The Democrats said President Trump was rigging the election.
Of all people, you're saying that Donald Trump is rigging
the election by complaining about the election?
Are you serious?
Oh, and the last newspaper on earth
that anyone expected walked in holding the receipts.
That's right, guys, the New York Times.
Not exactly the Trump MAGA fan club.
And they reported the Alaska confusion was deliberately cultivated.
Okay, so once you're able to confirm this account,
what exactly do you come to understand?
is the real story of how the other Dan Sullivan ends up
in this U.S. Senate race in Alaska.
Here's what I learned.
Last summer, top Peltola aides huddled up
with senior Democratic operatives.
They were concerned that the Republican
Party could play some sort of trick
and get another Democrat on the ballot
to take votes away from Mary Peltola.
So they decided they would strike first.
Fascinating.
They came up with a plan
to recruit other candidates onto the Senate ballot.
The goal was to divide Republican voters and hope that some
of them would vote for these alternative candidates on the ballot,
depriving Senator Sullivan of a vote
and indirectly benefiting Mary Peltola, the Democrat.
As part of that, a Paltola staff member was instructed
to create a list of the Dan Sullivans in Alaska.
All of the Dan Sullivans.
Yeah, as many of them as they could find.
And how does the Pelotola campaign and these Democratic operatives
ultimately persuade one of these Dan Sullivans to actually run?
So what we know is this group of top Democrats brought
in an operative on the ground in Alaska.
He was a veteran Democrat from Ohio named Jared Kurtz.
And what I learned was that Jared Kurtz's recruitment effort
was not limited to just Dan Sullivan's.
Kurtz's job was to recruit people
who might be interested in running for Senate
and essentially pack the ballot.
And we know that he spoke with at least a handful of people in Alaska,
occasionally using pseudonyms to try to obfuscate
who he was working for,
Because...
As you can imagine, he was trying to get Republicans on the ballot,
and they would probably not be very amenable
to being part of a Democratic plot.
He lied.
Yeah, I mean, I talked to somebody who said he met a guy named Zane.
This is the pseudonym that Kurtz was going by.
And he said, hey, have you ever considered running for Senate?
What do you think? We really think you should do it.
But this guy was not telling this would-be candidate
who he was working for
or who was behind this push.
Jared Kurtz was giving periodic updates
on his progress to this group of Peltola aides and
National Democrats.
On one of these calls, he told them that he had made contact with
a man named Dan J. Sullivan, who lived in Petersburg.
What he told them on this call
was that this Dan Sullivan was open to the idea
of running for Senate if it would help
Mary Peltola, because this Dan Sullivan didn't like Trump
and he didn't really want to be a
I don't want to be a politician, but...
He would consider doing it if it would be helpful.
Now, this is a fancy newspaper talk for On Purpose.
In summer 2025, AIDS to Democrat
Mary Peltola dug through Alaska's voter rolls,
hunting for anyone named Dan Sullivan. That's
right, Dan Sullivan. You're looking for him.
So the Times described a secret ballot project.
Lawyers, advisors, senior DSCC staff, and critics point straight
So then a Midwestern operative toured Alaska under
a fake name to recruit a real guy with
a matching name, a fake name, guys, to find a duplicate name.
Somebody please give this man a cape.
Peltola's former campaign manager said Peltola knew.
And then she was confused.
Confusion, apparently contagious. Well, today,
both Dan Sullivans are still on the ballot
with ranked choice voting stirring the pot. Exposed,
not fixed. So here's the part that's really going
to make your blood boil, folks. As far as anybody
can tell, none of this actually broke the law.
Dirty? Oh, absolutely. Illegal?
Apparently not. This is the scandal, guys.
And it's not even new. Washington State's 2024
governor race had extra Bob Fergusons popping up out of nowhere.
This was a stunt that got
pulled by a Republican activist.
Same trick, different jersey. Meanwhile, everybody's staring
at Texas and Maine. Can't forget about Maine.
Meanwhile, Alaska slips out the back door.
Then, of course, Lisa Murkowski tells her voters
to back a Democrat for Alaska governor.
Governor, picture a quarterback handing the other team his place.
Playbook at halftime. You got to admire her consistency.
She has never once disappointed
a Democrat. Oh, and she's not up until 2028.
Now, step back and let's kind of look at the
pattern here. Paused deportation cases,
a spare Dan Sullivan, because, you know, like a spare Dan
Sullivan never hurt anybody,
and an investigation moving like a DMV line on a Monday morning.
Different stories, same strategy, run out the clock.
Because if the House
Flips. Investigations like Ilhan Omar's can quietly fade away.
Just another file on a dusty
back shelf. Does any of this sound familiar?
The Supreme Court acted. President Trump acted. Now
it's your turn, folks. Early voting is already open in many states.
Picture a stopwatch ticking
down with an I voted sticker slapped right over the face.
They're counting on you to be distracted.
You're not.
The Supreme Court yanked the plug on Joe Biden's pause button,
the New York Times confirmed
exactly what Trump warned about in Alaska,
and the questions surrounding Ilhan Omar aren't
going away anytime soon, no matter how long Washington stalls.
CNN missed it, the machine
tried to bury it, and you found it right here, folks.
Think of the one person in your life
who's tired of being called crazy for asking questions.
I want you to go ahead and send
Not to make them angry, because they probably already are,
send it so that they know that
they're not alone and that this fight is far from over.
Now, if today delivered what we promised,
hit the like button on the way out.
Totally free, takes a second, zero dollars,
and unlike that dusty paused file, it actually
gets something done.
