Kane on Bayern 'sloppy' draw with Dortmund after 'magical' Ballon d'Or week

Yeah, it was a tough game. Obviously, it didn't feel like we'd probably done enough to win the game today. We were really sloppy with the ball. We had chances. I thought we were better in the second half. Obviously, for me, missing the penalty and then a few chances there where just the ball didn't seem to want to go in today. So, it's life as a striker. You have to take it on the chin. In the end, when you come away with a point not playing that great, you just have to accept it and move on. Of course, when you concede late, it leaves a sour taste in your mouth, there's no doubt. But, yeah, it was a tough night, you know, with the injuries we've picked up as well. Hopefully, they're not too bad. But, yeah, in the momentum of the game, we just struggled to get anything going. So, yeah, we have to, you know, put it behind us quickly because we have another important match in a couple of days. It was a crazy week. Amazing, obviously, to be back in London and receive the award. And, uh... Yeah, it was magical. But obviously, as the week's gone on, I've been more focused on today's game and getting back to football and getting back to trying to have a successful season. So, of course, there's a lot. It's something you have to deal with when you're at the top. Deal with the emotions, deal with everything that comes with it. So, yeah, I felt like I handled it well. Of course, not the best. Yeah, I think overall we'll be disappointed not to come away with a victory, but I have to break it down for the players and explain to them that the performance was there, we did lots of the right things today, we created a lot of chances against a really good defensive team, so the players will be disappointed, we're all a little bit disappointed not to get the win, but we take away the positives of the performance, the chances that we created and we move forward to the next game. the mentality is top so we believed the whole game in our qualities and also we came twice back so it's not easy to come back here against such a top opponent in the first half I think it was an equal game the numbers were the same we over run them so we need to run a lot especially when you play here away a second half okay Bayern had more possession they had some good opportunities but from my point of view we deserve the point because we show top face, top character and the team is believing what we are doing and this is important to be successful.
