Story on Grace of Matha Lakshmi If She stays and Difficulties when She leaves

Hi friends, Mata Lakshmi represents wealth. Not only wealth, everything, whatever positive aspects happen in our life is only because of Mata Lakshmi. That is what everybody believes. And here we have the story of an orphan named Raghavan. Raghavan came from some village, he had no parents and he came to a temple and since his childhood, He had been serving the Lord in different ways, not only Lord, the devotees who ever come to visit the temple, the old people, he used to take care of old people, he used to take care of the kids and he used to do all sorts of services in the temple, Lakshmi Narayana temple. Here mostly the people who were great devotees of Lakshmi used to come to the temple. And this was as he was serving Lakshmi Narayana since many years, maybe like 20 years like that. Then Lakshmi Mata was very much pleased and appeared to him in his dream in early hours. She said, you served us a lot. We were very much pleased. So I am going to grant you a boon. You are going to be very rich. From tomorrow onwards, that's what Lakshmi Mata said. Then Raghavan said, no, no, no, I don't want any sort of wealth and all. Here I am leading very comfortable, happy life. So I am taking bath in the river in front of the temple and I am leading very pious life here and I am getting Prasad three times a day. I am leading happy life, so I don't want any sort of wealth. For that Lakshmi was very angry. What is this? When I am granting you a boon, why don't you accept it? Anyway, you will get good wealth from tomorrow onwards. Then he said, okay, if you give me wealth, so it is believed Lakshmi, how she comes, she goes also. So, the wealth, how we get the wealth, it will also leave us one day. So, in case if you leave me, tell me in what way will you leave me? I must know about it. But that Lakshmi Mata said something. Okay, I will tell you if I leave you, she said. And later, the next day, what happened? And he wanted to give. He wanted to donate something for a temple and when he came to that place, he found this same Raghavan and he was looking very sacred and he was looking very pious and all with his dhoti, with his namas and so he was looking like Lord Vishnu himself with all grace. So, he wanted to give him clothes, he wanted to give him food, so he gave him even gold. He gave her a bracelet, something like gold bracelet and her two clothes. He gave silk clothes and all these he gave. Then he thought, okay, Lakshmi was showing her grace on me, as she said. He thought and took those. When he took those, then he was just looking like a great saint with very glorious face. He was a Vaishnavite, a great Vaishnavite he was looking like. And everybody started looking at him constantly because he had some grace on his face, in his eyes. One day he was walking by. When he was walking by, suddenly he did not know he went to king's palace. He asked, he wanted to go to the king's palace, how to go to the king's palace. The same moment, he directly entered, somebody was guiding and he directly entered into king's room. On one bed, queen was sleeping, on another bed, king was sleeping. Suddenly, he lifted the hand of the queen. At that moment king saw this and he saw this and then he was very angry. How dare you to come into my palace? He said and he took away his sword and he was about to kill him. At that point of time there was a huge snake fell. It should have fallen on the queen. The sword which he had taken killed the snake instead of that brahmin, that Vaishnavaite. Then he thought, you came, I thought, I thought of, why did you touch my wife's hand? I thought and I thought of killing you. But now I realized you saved my wife's life. From a snake but his sword killed the snake. Then he said you have to stay in my palace. You have to I want to see your face every day. If I see your face has some so much of glory. So if I see your face everything will be positive to me. So that sort of feeling he had developed with that Vaishnava Raghavan. So days were going on. In that way days were going on. Then what happened? Then he said, okay, he constructed a beautiful house for this Vaishnavite and he was living there. And he said, now you reach the age and this is the time for you to get married also. And he found a very suitable Vaishnavite lady and very beautiful lady and both of them got married in the presence of the king. And later few more years passed. And then he... He was blessed with four children also. So they were leading a very happy life. Suddenly, after four, five years later, wife said, What is this? There is darkness everywhere. Nobody is there to light the lamp, she said. Then he thought, Lakshmi once told me again in his dream, and she said, Whenever your wife says, shouts that there is darkness everywhere, I will leave. That is the indication. Then he thought his problems again are going to start. After that what happened? Wherever a king, then he said before that, he said his wife, so I think problems going to start now. So I am going to be poor again. That is why he told, I have a lot of money and that jewelry, everything. You take the jewelry and take the money and go to your parents house along with our children. He said and sent wife to his in-laws house. Then one day the king said let us go for hunting. They were passing out. When they were passing they went to something like forest and there was a hut made. Meanwhile the king said I am feeling very hot here. I want to take rest under a tree, in the shade of a tree. So he said, okay, you put your head on my lap. He, the Vaishnavite Raghavan, made king's head lay on his lap. Meanwhile, some bird drops on the neck of the king. Because of the droppings of the bird, he thought he was not sleeping. He was awake. Raghavan was awake. King was sleeping. Then he thought of removing that droppings of the bird. Then he did not find anything to remove it. So he took king's sword. He took it. Just he wanted to wipe it off. But king opened his eyes and he thought he was going to kill him. When Lakshmi leaves, this will happen. So, he thought and he was you are going, I thought you are a great Vaishnavite and all, you are going to kill me. Then he called all his men and asked them to arrest him. And everybody saw sword in his hand and just he wanted to remove that. He did not want to kill but nobody could believe his words. Then he thought Lakshmi left. That is why these things are happening, he thought. And then he was arrested. But before that, King said, he was going to be hanged also. But king thought, I have to fulfill your last wish. Till now you served me a lot. So, what is your last wish? For that, he said, I have an iron box. Get that iron box for me. I want to see my things in that iron box and then you can kill me. It said, then they took out that iron box and there was nothing, only his old clothes. And that is what he had. Whatever small things he brought, those were only there. Then, what is this? Nothing is there in this, he said. I started my life with these things only. When I was wearing these old clothes, I was leading happy life. I had no property, I had no wealth, nothing. But I was leading very happy life. But when I got all these things, my problems started. So let me go back. He said, that is what he said. Then they thought he is really great person and then okay I will leave you, I don't kill you, you go back said the king and then he came to the temple and as usual he started his life how he used to lead his life earlier. He was leading very pious life, serving the Lord and taking the prasad and he was leading happy life since then. That is what is known as Lakshmi Kataksham. We don't know when Lakshmi adores us and when Lakshmi leaves us. It is not in our hands. Everything is our destiny. Let us come with some other interesting topic in our next video. Till then, bye.
