Israeli protesters urge Jewish-Arab coalition government

Because we've had a rotten government for the past 20 years, who have proven themselves corrupt in every possible way. The people have voted against the government. As you know, the system here is very complicated, which means it's not trivial. But the people have spoken and we're here to make sure that all the politicians hear that we've spoken. It's not a wish. It's beyond it. It's a commitment. That Israel will be a normal democracy in which every person has the right for the same right and every party is a legitimate partner for participation in power, power sharing and all privileges democracy grants. Jews and Arabs alike.
