Moleskine Weekly Planner 2027: Real-Life Review & Tips 📒

Moleskine 2027 planner review. How are you doing? This is Ahmed Dhan. So today we're going to take a look at the 2027 Moleskine planner review and I'm going to go over a few other things at the same time. Now before I start if you're just wondering about what pen is this, this is a Cross Century One or also known as Cross Classic and I'll never forget this you know when I bought this This is just 2008 because that's when my first book was published and this is the one So very reliable and durable and good-looking pen you cannot go wrong with any series of cross pen. So before I take a look let's take a look at what we have here so this is called an elastic closure and it kind of like you know makes your notebook neat and clean or neat and compact when you're traveling especially or you can just close it but usually I end up never using this and then we have another piece like this inside which is called a ribbon bookmark and this is right here and this is to bookmark your like you know dates or important things which you need right away at a later time so this is pocket size and this is very close to a6 and this is like you know a 9x14 centimeter so this is almost identical to standard a6 pocket size compact enough to slide easily into Or even you can put it in your pocket or a small bag. This is a very travel friendly and that's something I like. And in terms of paperweight, the paper is if you can see that this is GSM 70. So the reason because this is not like an higher GSM due to the fact that if they do that is going uh bulkier and this is like you know 70 gsm ivory paper so that keeps the notebook thin and lightweight and it's very like you know carry on or user friendly so what you want to do if you're using a pen you should be using a pen like this any standard ballpoint pen or even fine tip gel pen would work but if you are like you know using rollerball pen you'll see like you know ghosting or fountain pen it will like you know bleed so best would be a standard ballpoint pen or very fine gel pen but if it's something else then you're gonna see ghosting. okay now so what happened this year i was like you know waiting to buy this For a little cheaper price because the price went up a lot. It's like close to $30 Canadian after taxes and everything which I thought it'd be a little higher price to pay. So I was waiting but the price doesn't go down so I just bought it. And also another thing I want to mention that last year I bought hardcover. not like you know soft cover and for that reason i ended up using not used that much because hardcover is like you know bulky and takes much space and even i was i didn't feel strong enough to take when i was traveling so i didn't use it that much so that's why i'm always like you know going to stick with the soft cover and also last cover i was having difficulty finding the hardcover because that's I'm sorry, I was having difficulty to find the soft cover, but this year I paid a little bit more and waited waited to get the soft cover So when you open the book Then you have uh, like, you know here you can put your like, you know name and address Also mention a reward but I never use this because I don't want to put my name here in case it gets lost or something And then here like, you know, there's some Moleskine information and you can see that this is Moleskine weekly diary and they have a variation of planners which i'm not going to go over this year in detail because i have made a separate video just about yesterday and i'm going to put that video link in the description box below so you can check out that video if you want to know different type of like in the Moleskine planners and may not be like you know you can decide on which one is best suitable for you but this is called Moleskine Weekly Diary. So here you have place for name, surname, home address, phone, blood group, I don't know if anyone ever you know fill this out but I never do. And then here you have at a glance calendar for 2027 which might come in handy when you're planning a vacation so you can take a look at everything all at once. And also then you have here month by month the entire 27. This is also like a good for vacation or any planning or any appointment and if you have something very important on that month you can just like you know put a cross mark here and that way you know that there's something going on on the date or you can even write very small tiny like in doctor's appointment or something if you need to do that or you can just like you know come back here for reference so that's another use of that section now we will just continue up to the end here and then here And here you can see that there's like 20, 28. so if you're planning a lot ahead for travel or anything then this is going to come in handy especially i do that i start planning my travel like one year ahead and i start like you know buying tickets like six months to eight months ahead so that's something will be very useful when you need to take a look at the year after and there you have some ideas and goals uh then here you have travel planning destination date date notes and itinerary so this is also very And ideas and goals you can jot down if you have a big major or big ideas for that year or something very small you know it doesn't matter small or big you can just like you know put in your goals and it's very tangible when you're like you know writing something it gives you kind of encouragement and it makes you to work harder to achieve your goals and ideas so that's Now, my... Extraordinary moments this year and blank space so these I don't really use it but you know it's there if you need to use it you can use it for anything it doesn't have to be just like you know what they're saying it can be just like an empty notes and here you can like you know jot the notes and you can like you know take a look at your travels and stuff so that's something actually I ended up never using it but it's there if you need it and there here you have a and actually what happens I always forget that there is a ruler here and I never use it so this is something else I end up never using it and here they're like you know some legends if you need to know what's inside the notebooks and then you can see the planner starts with December 28th the year before so this is actually 2026 December and then here you're going to start Let's see. So here you're going to start January 2027 and if you look at here you can see that each page has the month on the upper right corner of the left page and the week on the upper left corner on the right page. So that way you know which month and week you're looking at and then it goes by day by day and each when you make it lie flat the entire book or planner or notebook has the whole week lie in front in front of you except the Saturday and sunday it's like you know a little bit smaller because uh maybe uh the reason that you know that's not a work day but usually i use saturday sunday most for travel planning because that just like a regular weekday so this is the entire format the entire notebook is going to follow and let's take a look here so what else we have here so that continues throughout the notebook and then here you have the end and then here you have some blank pages and here you can just like you know jot down some notes ideas anything important highlights and you can see that they gave very generous amount of like you know blank pages here so that's a very good thing and then here you have We have... some codes and information about Moleskine and there that's the end of the notebook now one thing is that they have a pocket here so this can be like you know very helpful to put some like you know something you need for example receipts uh and when you're traveling you can even uh you know insert like you know boarding pass or receipts or something so but i i see no need or use for these like stickers and i ended up never using them so i don't know how many people you know actually use it but this can be like you know for some maybe but this is something i never had to use it or i never you know see any purpose of this or any like you know helpful things but some people i know like a sticker so maybe it's going to be helpful for those and that's the end of the notebook and you can see that when you're holding it it's so slim and tiny and this is the reason i like Moleskine and i keep buying it year after year and i do review also for you guys year after year and It looks very like you know nice, very visually pleasing and then very pocket friendly, very travel friendly. You can put it in your laptop, your pocket, your sling bag, anywhere and you can keep it with you all the time for the purpose of traveling or even when you're outside or when you are home. So this is the reason I like the soft cover because of the minimalist approach and you can see that you cannot go wrong. with everything except the thing i can complain about is the price feels a little bit higher but what i noticed that the price actually when i think when they first released it in september yeah september or august it was down it was like 20 dollars or something then it kept going up up up now it's like 26 or 27 canadian i'm going to put the you know price what what i paid on the screen and you can see that it's like you know comes close to 30 dollars which i would say a little bit expensive for a notebook but i don't know any other brand who has this like you know beautiful higher-end notebook so for that reason this is the I think only option I have to buy and probably lots of you will agree with that.
