'No better way to end the weekend', as Canadian men's relay team claims gold

Guys, what a show you put on tonight.
Antoine, I'm going to start with you.
You helped this team get to this A final here,
so how do you feel to see them put it together at the end?
It's incredible to see them skate.
Every time they go on the ice, it's just...
I mean, you know they're the best in the world,
so it's just fun to skate with them.
I think I did my job in the quarters,
and I'm just happy to get there with them on the ice.
Mathieu, what a weekend for you.
Not only your first individual medal, but now top it off with a gold.
So how are you feeling to be part of this team?
I was really happy with yesterday's result.
So to come back today, win a silver and a gold with the team,
I just can't be happier with the result today.
Max, also an amazing weekend for you,
and I know you've been around these boys for quite some time.
A lot of success in the relay. How
are you feeling now after another gold?
I just think I skate for relays. It's my favorite distance.
I don't think there's a better feeling to win as a team,
and also it's always to end the weekend.
So, like, we finish on the high note. It's just amazing.
Felix, we started the day together. You were hungry for medals.
Only one missing in the weekend,
so how are you feeling overall this weekend?
I'll take it 4 out of 5. I only had two individual medals
in the new World Tour format before that and I got two
in the same day yesterday so honestly a lot of positive there
and learning is part of the process and I have to lose to get better.
There's a, I mean.
Like Max said, we finished on a high note,
so I don't really care now about the 1,000 meters.
Thank you.
Steven, a lot of great moves in this final.
The crowd loves you, so I'm sure
that you can't get enough of that, right?
Yeah, it's funny.
Montreal is definitely the best place to skate,
especially in the past few years.
The crowd has been turning up more and more,
and honestly, it's just so fun.
We got on the ice, and they were cheering for a long time.
And even as we were coming down through the line...
It was so loud, the ice was vibrating,
and it's been a tough weekend for me.
I think it wasn't the best weekend in Montreal I've ever had,
but to finish it like this,
and I just gave it my all, and like Max said, there's
no better way to end the weekend than winning gold with the team.
Awesome, guys. Congratulations.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
Ha, ha, ha, ha.
