Cowboys Collapse Again: Jerry Jones' Reaction Says It All!

The Cowboys have collapsed yet again.
And this one, this one wasn't just a normal,
like, oh, they played bad all night
and they didn't play well.
And it's just the defense.
It was a defense.
But Dallas led by 14 points at home
in the fourth quarter and by 10
with under four minutes left in the game.
And they lost in overtime to a backup
who hadn't thrown a pass all season in Gardner Minshew.
And they have a camera up there on Jerry Jones.
They showed him up there again doing that.
And I just love it every time they do it.
Because you know what, Jerry?
It's your fault that this is happening.
You don't address the things that need to happen to this football team.
John, your thoughts on a glorious Cowboys loss yet again?
You can't tell me that Jerry Jones is about to fire anybody,
baby, because he ain't.
He's not going to fire nobody.
I'm going to tell
y'all something that I don't normally do on this show.
I'm going to tell y'all something I like about Jerry Jones.
Jerry Jones will allow you to fail and fail miserably.
I like the fact that Jerry Jones makes a decision and he sticks to it.
He chose Shotty and he's going to let Shotty go down.
He don't care how embarrassing it gets.
You are not quitting this job.
You're going to coach to the end, buddy.
We ain't firing nobody.
Same way he did Jason Garrett.
Mike McCarthy walked away from him.
And then Shotty ain't going to get another job.
So he ain't going nowhere.
He's going to sit in this misery.
That was pathetic.
That was pathetic.
That is good.
I thought the defense was fixed.
I thought y'all made all these moves.
I thought the Cowboys had acquired the right people
and the defense was going to be better than it was last year.
And now we got Jerry up here in the box hitting you with old dad gum.
Okay?
Jerry up there dropping dad gum up there on y'all, man.
Listen.
This is what they signed up for.
If you're a Cowboy fan, this is what you sign up for every year.
To think you're going to win, you don't win.
And then as soon as you do win a game, no matter who it's against,
you win a game, we back.
Stop it.
Okay?
The Cardinals came in your house, hunted you down,
and then walked it off on you.
After, this is my favorite part about it,
after they did, they scored a back-breaking touchdown.
But what happens to you, Cowboy?
They missed the extra point.
Of course they did.
You still had life.
So with everything that went wrong,
you still had a chance to put
your $50 million quarterback back on the field,
your $20 million wide receivers back on the field, and make good.
And what happened?
You still lost the game.
So, as awful as it is, please get comfortable, Cowboy fans,
because your coach ain't going nowhere, your owner ain't going nowhere,
your quarterback ain't going nowhere,
and your wide receivers ain't going nowhere.
That defense, I know y'all wish they
could go somewhere, but they ain't.
It was funny.
Your guy, Caleb Downs, Trey McBride, it was caught on the hot mic.
He's like, you're a first-rounder?
That was hilarious.
This idea, and I'm going to stop picking on Caleb Downs
because I've made my point.
Sure.
I've made my point about Caleb Downs.
But when I tell you he got, he got suitcased up to four
up the field today, I mean, he got, he got blocked
into oblivion by a left tackle, which that could happen to anybody.
But man, the fact that it happened to him, just glorious.
First time that Dallas has blown a two-touchdown
fourth-quarter lead, they have been 69-0 at home
when leading by 14-plus.
Don't we always ask people to make new mistakes?
That's why I tell my kids all the time,
hey, man, listen, show me you're not dumb.
Make a different mistake.
At least the Cowboys make a different mistake.
You know, they're not dumb.
They're just bad.
When you're bad, you make new mistakes.
You find new ways to lose.
When they miss that field goal,
when they miss that extra point,
I say, okay, there we go.
With everything that happened,
at least they still going to win this game
because the Cardinals are abysmal.
And when you miss an extra point like that
to win the game,
as great as the touchdown was,
the deflation is way worse
than the elation of the touchdown.
And when I tell you, nope, nope.
Here come them boys, y'all.
So here's the thing.
They're 3-5 in an NFC East that's led by a 4-2-1 Giants team.
Dumpster fire.
And the Eagles just lost on Sunday Night Football.
The Commanders got a win.
They're 2-4-1.
But the Eagles are just a disaster themselves.
I mean, their quarterback play has been trash.
Their defense has been suspect.
I mean, it's just a disaster over there.
So, with all of this being said,
while I say it's a Cowboys collapse, it's unbelievable
that the Cowboys are still probably in the mix for the NFC East.
This is what they do.
This is what I'm saying.
This is why they are a perfect marriage
with their owner and their fan base.
This is what they do.
All they need to do is win one game.
They win one, no matter how bad and gut-wrenching this loss was.
Cowboy fans, after they ripped off their jersey,
threw it on the ground,
walked out the room in front of the TV,
around 10 o'clock, 11 o'clock this morning,
they woke up and went,
you know what?
I looked at the video.
I saw the Eagles last night.
I saw the commanders last night.
We could beat the Giants.
