Dream and everyday life, rarefied beauty and stillness, waiting for an event and “fairy-tale suspense,” as Luca Beatrice wrote for the exhibition at the Chiostri di San Domenico in Reggio Emilia, establish an immediate relationship with the observer, without ever falling into a predictable and pleasurable resolution of the image, even though they reveal themselves to be the measure and definition of an immature femininity.
