Pet of the day: Lyra

Holy cow. I'm in love. It is time to meet our pet of the day this morning. And we have Sydney from FurKids, uh, bringing in this pet this morning who let me just say, just wheeled in here on this table, like the princess that she is. It was like, my carriage has arrived. Everyone. Who is this? This is little Lyra. She's a terrier mix, the runt of her litter. And that comes with the spunkiness that comes with most runts. Um, she lets her brothers know that they cannot run over her Good for you, Lyra. Thank you so much for joining us. I was going to say, you can tell that she is a very well-behaved little pup here. It almost looks like it's almost nap time, too. She likes this little comfy towel here. I know you have a special, what do we call it, a class, a course, or something going on with her kids. Yeah, we have puppy success classes that are going to be starting soon for kids. We have an amazing certified trainer that's going to be helping with that, just making sure that we get them on good track to being good dogs once they're all grown up. And, yeah, it's really incredible now. We have the space in our big new facility to offer that and we have it through November and December and you can check out our website to sign up for those classes. What a terrific service to offer people and make sure that there is success when these animals get their forever home. Of course, we're in it for the long haul for them and we really want to make sure that they get the best beginnings. Well, Cindy, thank you for bringing in Lyra. Let's find Lyra her forever home. Oh my goodness. This is why I'm in love, everyone. This is why everybody in this building has fallen in love with her. But if you'd like to fill out an adoption application for Lyra, visit furkids.org or go to fox5atlanta.com and click on the good day section and pet of the day. Stay with us. We're back with more Good Day Atlanta right after this.
