Video Summary
AI Generated
This video explains why \"boring\" educational niches are more profitable than entertainment content on YouTube. By solving specific problems, creators can build high-value businesses and lead-generation machines that far exceed AdSense revenue. The speaker also demonstrates how to leverage AI to automate content creation and scale a professional YouTube business.
So one of the most profitable niches
on YouTube right now is so boring that you would never
guess what it is.
And today I'm going to show you what it
is and how to copy it using Claude AI because
everyone tells you to pick an exciting niche
and follow your passion like gaming, lifestyle
and entertainment, something flashy and fun.
And that is exactly why 99.9%
of those people will never make a dollar on YouTube.
Meanwhile, a complete beginner in his 50s
who'd never recorded a video in his entire life
and wasn't tech savvy, used this.
This boring niche to make a full-time income
within one month of posting his first video.
And later in this video,
I'm gonna show you how Claude can handle
almost the entire content creation process for you,
from validating your niche,
to finding your video ideas,
to writing your scripts.
Now, if you appreciate me making this type of content
and you want me to make more of it in the future,
then let me know by gently tapping that like button
and let's jump into it right now.
First, let's talk about the YouTube channel
that launched a $5 billion company.
And that is
Physics Wallah, made by Alakh Pandey.
And this is a massive exam prep educational channel
teaching physics and competitive test content.
And it's structured classroom style lectures
focused purely on syllabus completion
rather than entertainment or storytelling.
Physics Wallah started as a simple YouTube channel
teaching physics, chemistry, and exam prep.
And when I say simple,
I mean, simple.
Alakh's first videos looked like they were recorded with a potato,
with bad lighting in a basement.
And they were basically whiteboard marker lecture style videos.
The kind of content that most creators skip because it's not flashy.
And this channel didn't just grow, it became a massive ed tech company.
And at one point, it was valued around $2.8 billion.
And then in November 2025, Physics Wallah did something
almost no other ed tech startup has done.
It went public on the Indian stock market.
And its IPO raised $393 million.
And on the very first day of trading,
the stock listed at a 33% premium to its issue price, meaning
the shares jumped well above expectations right out of the gate.
And it was now valued at $5.2 billion.
So that is a YouTube Classroom channel that turned
into a multi-billion dollar public company.
And Physics Wallah, aka Alakh Pandey,
could actually sell the company, right?
So it's much more liquid than another
company like Mr. Beast, for instance, right?
Mr. Beast is probably worth a few billion dollars himself.
At least technically,
but it would be exceptionally difficult for him to sell his brand.
He might be able to do it 5, 10, 20 years from now,
but right now it would be exceptionally
difficult.
But Alok Pandey has already raised 300 million plus dollars.
So it would not be that difficult for him
to sell more shares in his company.
Plus he's a guy from a small village in India.
Now by the way, if you're really confused about how
to pick your niche, what type of
niche you should pick or how to get started on YouTube,
I'm actually doing a completely
free live training this week.
out by clicking the link down in the
description and the pinned comment below.
Definitely do not miss out
on this because people absolutely love these live trainings.
And I'm also giving away an AI that makes starting
on YouTube incredibly easy, and it's also
completely free. So click the link in the
description and the pinned comment below.
Make sure you put the live training date on your calendar.
And I look forward to seeing you there.
If Physics Wallah is not the only channel in that category,
there's also SimplyLearn
and SimplyLearn is a massive online education
channel that's focused on technical tutorials such as data science,
cybersecurity, A.I., et cetera, and it's structured lecture style
and purely value driven with minimal personality or entertainment.
And this channel uploads full courses, digital marketing tutorials,
machine learning, basic cybersecurity explainers.
And at first glance, it looks like free education.
They do generate between seven to $21,000 per month
from AdSense, but that's not where the real money is.
And if you still think that YouTube channels
are making their money from AdSense,
well, that is just a tiny percentage of the money
that you can actually make on YouTube.
If you look at their channel further,
you'll notice something important.
They link to corporate training programs,
cybersecurity certifications, data science programs,
cloud computing courses, DevOps tracks.
AI and machine learning programs, et cetera.
So this is not a YouTube channel.
It is a lead generation machine.
And YouTube does three things for them.
One, it builds authority.
Two, it builds trust.
And three, it captures intent.
So when someone watches what is data science
or what is cybersecurity
or how to become a cloud engineer,
they're not casually browsing.
They're considering a career move,
and Simply Learn is waiting there with a paid program
that will help them to reach their goal.
So the ad revenue is small, but the backend is massive.
It's reported online that they're making
over $100 million a year,
and they're likely evaluated at around $300 to $500 million.
So again, boring educational content
is absolutely dominating here.
Now, you might be thinking,
well, Shane, these channels are great,
but they have millions of subscribers.
This is not something that I can relate to.
All right. YouTube just got 10 times easier
and nobody is talking about it. You used to need an
entire film crew and it used to be a full-time job
for you to just do any work at all on YouTube.
But now you can get work done
and it's as little as 15 to 30 minutes a day. You can actually grow
a full-time YouTube channel.
That's exactly what I'm gonna be talking about at the live training
that we're doing this week. Exactly how to start YouTube step-by-step.
So click the link in the description
in the pinned comment below to check that out, guys.
I will be answering questions before,
during, and after the live training.
It's completely free.
Plus, I'll be giving away an AI that is designed to help you pick
your niche if you don't have one in the first place.
Or if you already have a niche,
it's going to help you make it 10 times better.
So really looking forward to talking with you guys.
This is stuff that we never talked about before.
So click that link in the description in the pinned comment below.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Here's an example of one of my clients, Josh Matacor.
Now, if you look at his vidIQ stats,
it'll say he's making about $1,400 a month.
And you probably would not be very impressed by that.
He's also getting about 35,000 views in the last seven days.
So that's maybe 140,000, 150,000 views a month.
But actually, he has a seven-figure channel.
And when he worked with me,
we got him all the way from making less than $1,000 a month,
all the way up to making over $180,000 in a single
And he teaches people IT and cybersecurity skills
and how to get into those careers.
Again, this is boring educational content,
but he's making seven figures a year doing it.
But you might be thinking, well, Shane, he's got 100,000 subscribers,
so it's still not something I can relate to.
Okay, how about this?
Joaquin Ravello, another one of my clients,
he's got about 13,000 subscribers. He teaches
foreign exchange students how to get into elite universities in the US.
And this usually involves
passing certain tests such as the IB tests,
also known as international baccalaureate tests. And
when he started working with me,
he was a teenager and we got him from making almost nothing to
to having over an $80,000 month.
And again, he did it making
boring educational content.
So I could give example after example after example of this,
but I think you get the point.
The next question is why?
Why is it that educational content that gets way less views
and is relatively boring compared to entertainment content
makes way more money than the average entertainment channel?
Well, it comes down to the simple fact that you are solving problems
and the entire economy is built off of solving people's.
Problems and a lot of the biggest companies in the world and the most
successful companies in the world do incredibly boring things.
For instance, Oracle is all about storing data, right?
It's all about creating databases where
you can store massive amounts of data.
That's super boring.
A lot of the big energy or gas companies
are all about solving the problem of getting people
from point A to point B, which is also very boring.
And when you make this boring content,
you are solving people's problems.
And when you solve people's problems.
You create what's known as value, and generally speaking,
it's not always true, but generally
speaking, when you create value,
you will get rewarded in the form of money.
So once you solve people's problems,
they're going to be much more likely to give you money.
So you can solve their problems for free on YouTube in many cases.
And then a lot of them are going to want to buy
your upper level thing when you have it.
So just as an example, on this channel,
I give a ton of free value about how to be successful
on YouTube.
And I also do free live trainings where I don't charge anything.
And I teach people the most important things
when it comes to growing and making money
on YouTube.
Again, click the link in the description
in the pinned comment below to attend my live training
this week.
A lot of people end up choosing their niche
and figuring out how to correctly monetize their channel
just on the live training alone.
And I also answered literally all their questions.
So it's literally like a Zoom call that we're both on.
So do not miss out on it.
Click that link in the description
and the pinned comment below.
Now, I told you at the start
that I would show you how to copy something like this
with Claude.
So let me walk you through it right now
because Claude can handle
almost the entire content creation process for you.
And I'm gonna do this on my screen using an example niche
so that you can see exactly how it works.
So let's say your niche is helping people
pass a specific exam.
Something like helping students in the US
pass the AP Physics exam.
which is a perfect boring, but high demand niche
because about half the people who take that exam
don't pass it, so they are desperate for help.
So the first thing that you do is to validate that niche.
Now, by the way, there are custom Claude AI prompts,
which you will have available to you down in the description.
It should be the third link in the pinned comment down there.
And you can use those to follow along to this video
if you'd like.
Okay, so the first thing you wanna do is validate that niche
to make sure it's actually something you'll enjoy
and something you can make money from.
And I built a skill called the Niche Validator
that does exactly that.
And I'm actually giving it away free to people
join my live training this week.
So link to that is going to be in the description in the
pinned comment below should be the first link down there.
And that can be personalized to you. And
it's also been trained on thousands of hours
of us helping people pick their niches. But with that
being said, with this prompt right here,
you can run your niche through it. And here's what it
comes up with. And so far, that is solid.
Next, you have Claude come up with the video ideas,
right? So you don't have to stare
at a blank screen wondering what to make. So this prompt
You tell it your niche and ask it for video ideas
that have a high likelihood of taking off.
And here's what it came up with.
And again, so far, very solid.
And then you take one of those video ideas
and you build what I like to call the holy trifecta,
which is the title, the thumbnail and the intro.
The three things that decide whether
anybody actually clicks and watches.
So with this prompt right here, you hand it the video idea
and here's what it came up with for the
title, the thumbnail and the intro.
So, yeah, like I said, very, very solid.
And finally, you have Claude write the entire script for that video.
So with this prompt right here, you give it the title, the angle,
and here's what it came up with.
Now, that is a very good script
for the amount of work that you put into it.
And by the way, all of these are very good.
And if you're a beginner at YouTube, I can pretty much guarantee you
99.9% of you, this is going to be better than what you would do.
And even if you're more advanced at YouTube,
this is going to help you do everything else better.
So just like that, Claude took us from niche
all the way to a finished, ready to record script.
The niche, the video ideas, the title, the thumbnail, the intro.
And the script and I built a light version of the skill
for every single one of those steps that I'm giving away for free.
And again, you can grab all of them by clicking
the link in the description and the pin comment below.
And that is exactly how you copy what my brother did.
Except now Claude does almost all of the heavy lifting for you.
But then a very small percentage of people
who watch my content and attend my live trainings.
End up working with my team and myself one-on-one.
So I give way more value than I receive with the free content,
but there's a small percentage of people like 1%
that end up working with us one-on-one.
And those people want more hand-holding.
They want more one-on-one advice.
In some cases, they might want us to do stuff for them.
And the reason that they want to work with me is because of the fact
that I've already given so much value on my YouTube channel.
So if that's you, by the way, go ahead and apply for a call
by clicking the link in the description and pin comment below.
Should be the second link down there.
And if it's not down there, it'll be in the about section.
Now, typically the types of people we work with are business owners
who want to grow and make money on YouTube,
marketers who want to use YouTube for lead generation
and also nurturing their existing audience, YouTubers who want
to treat YouTube like a business and go pro, or people who want
to treat YouTube like a professional from the beginning, right?
People who are very serious about growing and making money on YouTube
and they don't want to waste years learning how to do it.
So if you fall into one of those four categories,
go ahead and click that link in the description, the pinned comment below
to book a call and also check out this video right here.
One of my clients who we helped blow up
their channel in their business.
