Election Night Prediction Markets & Governor Races

Governor races. Same thing here, Craig, right? A lot of close governor races that one report, Craig, we're in Florida. One report going to either Jolly or could change the entire market in a matter of a couple of minutes. So it's worth keeping an eye on here to see if there's at any point that we can jump in. Is it going to be Jolly? Is it going to be Donald's? One report, early report one way or the other, Craig. And we can get prices that were not available here leading up to election night. And, you know, as it stands right now, just to give you the updated odds, because I think we should probably start doing a little bit of that before the opportunity goes away, which it will in a little while from now, maybe a half hour to an hour. The Senate right now, I mean, it's kind of funny. The Kalshi is constantly updating it. So two minutes ago. You know, at this point, the house is not worth touching, it doesn't look like here, because I just don't know where the margin is going to be for you at 93% or 95%. Correct. So you see there, that graphic that we're showing tonight is 74%, it says there, on Kalshi, but currently, you know, again, we have to update these graphics as we go here, it's just not possible to do as fast as we can do it, I'll give it to you, but it's up to 80% right now. So as an example, at the beginning of the show, as Joe was talking about, if you were looking to make money as of right now on Kalshi, if you went on. 30 minutes ago and took the Democrats controlling the Senate, you could get out right now because it went up from 74% to 80% without them actually winning. And that's what this is about, getting the margins and getting the percentages. So right now, as it stands, 80% is live on Kalshi for the Democrats to take over the Senate. As far as the big race that we talked about, which is the one that could change everything, It's probably going to have to be is if the Texas Senate winner changes from where it is right now. And that stands right now on Kalshi even higher than what it was when we started the show, 80 percent for Democrat James Tallarico, 20 percent for Ken Paxton. So those are just some of the things that we're watching. I apologize for looking at my phone, but that's what I got to do. Because that's either that or just logging into my computer, which I have right here, too. But it's much easier for me to just kind of refresh on the phone. So 45 minutes, less than 45 minutes here on the East Coast until the polls are completed. But naturally, the other thing that we'll be talking about throughout the show is there. There's an opportunity on Kalshi, by the way, and Polymarket right now to predict who which. You know, who will have the next president of the United States? Will it be the Democrats or the Republicans? And you actually probably could get a better feel for that at the end of the night. So that's something that could come down to the wire. And naturally, we're still a ways away because we don't even know who the candidates are going to be in two years from now. But you certainly know that the representation, what it could potentially be. So we'll keep an eye on it for you throughout the night.
