Warmth and sunshine give way to first raindrops in weeks

We've had a beautiful week so far and that's going to continue as we head into our Wednesday. Until we get there, the overnight is cool and pleasant, so looking forward to that. Our Wednesday is stunning. It's beautiful, it's warm, those temperatures mainly in the 70s, and then that dry stretch is going to end as we work our way into Thursday and especially Friday. It's going to be on the soggy side. But until we get there, an absolutely gorgeous Wednesday is on tap. Cool to chilly start to the morning, 40s and 50s overall. That wind is going to pick up throughout the day as well, but those temperatures are certainly going to uptick. We're seeing those 60s and 70s around. It's going to be a stellar day. It's going to stay nice as we head into our Thursday, or excuse me, our Wednesday night into early parts of Thursday. But then rain is going to arrive as we get more into the day. A couple rounds of this potentially starting in the morning, continuing into the afternoon, and proceeding as we head into our Thursday night. There is the potential to have some of those pockets of some moderate to heavy downpours. Take a look at this. This is very early Friday morning, potentially lingering into your early morning commute. And you can see it's kind of on the nasty side. Those oranges, those reds, those maroons indicating some of that more moderate to heavy rainfall. So we're keeping a close eye on the potential to have some isolated flash flooding with this. We'll continue to monitor this as we head throughout the next couple of days. Meteorologist Hope Vasicola will be here with an update in the morning for you. But in terms of what we're looking at, those rain chances do continue to tick up as we get into Thursday and especially our Friday. I think Friday is going to be our main rainy day, but we don't have to worry about that on our Wednesday. Beautiful day, tons of sunshine, these nice warm. Warm temperatures very comfortable out there so a lot to look forward to for the middle of the week and then things do change as we get into especially Thursday and Friday not temperatures those are going to change as we head into the weekend back to those 60s after a nice stint in the 70s.
