Insider Drops HUGE Broncos Trade Report...
Nov 6, 2026
The Broncos are 6-2 and there is a name floating around
the trade deadline that nobody in Denver
saw coming that helps one of their biggest issues right now.
That name is Landon Dickerson,
a three-time Pro Bowl guard from the Philadelphia Eagles.
Denver's O-line was the best in the league
last year and this year it started to leak,
so a rumor like this actually makes sense.
One question decides whether this is a steal or a mistake.
Is he even good right now?

the deadline, after the deadline,

We're on the way to 3,000.
So here is the report.
A Yahoo write-up of ESPN's deadline roundup with Jeff Legwald,
Dan Graziano, and Seth
Walder says Walder's new name for Denver is Landon Dickerson.
The reasoning is that he's on the outs
in Philly with a knee injury and poor play,
and that he has no guaranteed money next year.
And hold on to that last part, because
we'll check in with that in a little bit.
The Athletic has already listed
the Broncos first among Dickerson's best fits
ahead of New England, Minnesota, Las Vegas, and Green Bay.
Roundtable Sports wrote on October 29th
that the noise around a Dickerson trade was real,
and Philadelphia isn't expected to sell,
though Adam Schefter said teams wouldn't be surprised
if they moved him before the deadline on November 10th.
So does Denver even have a hole for him to fill?
To see why one guard matters,
you have to remember how good this line was.
Last season, PFF ranked Denver's line first overall,
with a league-low six sacks allowed,
seven fewer than any other offensive line.
And Bo Nix's 3% sack rate was the best in the NFL.
That line was built with Ben Powers at left guard.
He signed a four-year, $52 million deal in 2023,
and last season he missed nine games with a torn bicep.
This July hit.
His contract was restructured, and Sports Illustrated has his cap hit
from $18.2 million to $10.6 million.
The left guard has been unsettled since
last season, and you can really see it.
With Denver starting this year
as PFF's number one ranked offensive line in pass blocking,
they've let some air out of the tank.
Through six games, right tackle Mike McGlinchey
had allowed 14 pressures the most on the O-line,
and left guard Ben Powers was next with 13.
And Powers grades 55.6 there,
while Quinn Miners is at 74.4 and Bowles at 72.8.
So yes, left guard is a real hole, but it's not the only one.
Center Luke Wattenberg grades lowest on the whole line with a 48.5,
with Mike McGlinchey at 52.9.
And the quarterback feels it
Through the first four weeks, Bo Nix was the last of 32 quarterbacks
in EPA per dropbacks under pressure at minus 0.99.
Defenses are blitzing him on 33% of dropbacks up from 20.6 last year.
So Guard fixes one of those three leaks,
but it is the leak that is hitting Bo Nix the hardest.
The question is how good that Guard really is.
And here's what makes this tricky,
because Denver is already paying for this whole line.
Quinn Meinerz counts $25.483 million against the cap in 2027,
Garrett Bowles is at $26.887 million,
and Mike McGlinchey is at $23.775 million.
At center Luke Wattenberg at $5.765 million,
and those four linemen add up to about $82 million in 2027 alone.
And the money is not following the grades.
Mike McGlinchey has the most pressures allowed
at $23.775 million on his contract,
At his best, Landon
Dickerson is exactly what
the line like this needs,
but more importantly,
He made the Pro Bowl in 2022, 2023, 2024, and in his 2024,
PFF graded him about 79 overall and a top 15 guard.
Then came the knee surgery in summer of 2025, and in 2025,
he graded 60.3 in pass blocking, 51st of 81 guards, according to PFF.
Week 1 this season, he played through a knee bone bruise,
and PFF ranked him 57th of the 59 guards. Really bad.
He went on the injury reserve on September 14th,
was reported activated on October 26th,
and also has a pectoral injury on the chart.
After that week 1 game, Landon Dickerson called himself
a complete liability per the pro football
talk headline, and coach Nick Sirianni answered,
He's tough as heck, but he is back to playing again now,
and the league did fine him $22,000
on November 4th for unnecessary roughness.
Compare that to what Denver has right now.
Powers is at 55.6.
Dickerson's 20-25 pass block was 60.3.
That's not a fix.
That's only a few points.
And we haven't fully seen his capabilities since he's been back.
There just hasn't been enough time
to actually judge what he could do on this Broncos team.
Now, if we take a look at it from the other
side, would Philadelphia listen?
Eagles have lost six straight,
the latest 27-10 to the Washington Commanders in Week 8.
They already traded center Cam Jurgens to Baltimore,
mostly for a second round pick in 2028.
And they already swapped line coaches,
Chris Copper for Jeff Stoutland.
This is not a team that is protecting its line.
This is a team that's already taking it apart
before the season's already over.
And not everyone sees a deal.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler puts the odds
of a Dickerson trade at about 25%.
And the names, the Chargers and Packers
are the best fits he has.
And nobody has reported a price,
but the last big guard deal was Joe Thuney
to Chicago for a 2020
Day 26, fourth round pick.
So, a day three pick is my guess, and...
Still, it's only a guess, but it makes a lot of sense.
So Philadelphia may actually listen,
and I do think it's probably more than a 25% odds
that we do see Landon Dickerson traded.
The question is whether Denver should pay the price.
Denver does have other ways to patch Ben Powers' spot.
Alex Polczeski got first-team left guard reps in July.
Cage Casey, a fourth-round pick,
is another name that's on the O-line,
and nobody's shown that either one of those guys
are the answer just yet,
which is a real reason why a name like Landon Dickerson,
with his experience and the way he's played
It's still being floated.
And Denver is not alone on this.
The Athletic lists five teams.
Leetcher Report added the Browns and 49ers.
And ESPN's Jeremy Fowler named the Chargers and Packers.
The price is only going to go up if there
are more than one team involved.
His 2027 cap hit is $13.768 million
and $17.79 million in 2028.
And if Philadelphia trades him,
the Eagles eat more than $23 million in dead money in
2027, so they have little reason to rush.
But Denver can afford it, about $21 million under the cap,
and all 22 of its picks across
the next three drafts.
But when Sean Payton was asked about the deadline
on November 4th, his answer was, we're not
looking to sell.
Which tells you nothing about buying,
and a left guard on a 2027 deal at $13.768 million
against a 60.3 grade.
So let's take a look at the three outcomes,
and they come from three different windows,
so treat them as ranges, not a table, I would say.
The best case is the Broncos end up getting Dickerson,
but the 2024 Landon Dickerson,
who was about 79 overall,
and a top 15 guard against powers at 55.6, that would be a crazy
big jump.
The middle case is the 20-25 Landon Dickerson,
60.3 in pass blocking, 51st of 81 guards,
7.5 points better than Powers is right now.
In the worst case, you're getting a week one Landon Dickerson,
25.9 in pass blocking, 57th of 59 guards.
That's almost 30 points worse than Powers is,
but we know Landon Dickerson as a player
who has not been like that his entire career.
So one of the three outcomes moves this line forward.
The other two kind of either keep it the same
or take a step back.
And Denver has five days to decide.
And from today, the deadline on Tuesday at 4 p.m. Eastern.
So is Landon Dickerson big enough?
Not as of right now.
He's a swing, not a fix.
But here's the thing.
If Denver gets the 22 to 2024 version of Landon Dickerson,
that's a Pro Bowl guard on a line that needs one.
If he gets the 2025 version and paid for a few points,
that will help out Bo Nix so much.
So here's my rule.
Denver should pay a day three pick.
I'm going to say at most.
I wouldn't hate a second day,
Day three, certainly,
and only if the film from his last two weeks looks good, looks
like 2024, and mainly he's healthy
because he's been playing on an Eagles offensive line
that's been falling apart and nobody has shown us
the version that is coming back.
A guard can change a line.
That's why a rumor like this is worth watching
and the reports are worth listening to.
It just has to be the correct guard at the right price and mainly,
like I said, healthy.
And the proof that a guard can change the line is already on this team.
Quinn Miners graded 90.9 in 2025, first of 81 guards.
So here's what to watch on Sunday at Carolina.
How often Powers is beaten
and whether Nix is hit or pressured early.
If the line is capable of holding, the rumor can die.
It's as easy as that.
And if Nix is under pressure again,
expect Denver to at least make a call before Tuesday.
Either way, the question is not whether Dickerson is good.
It's whether Denver is buying the 2024 version.
Or if the.
The one on the field is who we have now.
Watch that Panthers game on Sunday.
And, you know, the deadline, Tuesday on 4 p.m. Eastern.
You got to watch that.
If Denver calls, you'll hear it here first.
And if you want to see what Denver should do with this backfield,
I got a video about that right here.
Give me your call down below.
Would you trade Landon Dickerson or leave the phone down?
