Steve and Natasha, this fire, as you mentioned, was fast moving. It was also very intense. We're going to show you the house, what it looks like now at this hour. It's a two-story home. The stairs inside are partially collapsed because of the burning. And they actually, the fire department had to bring in their own ladders just to access the second floor as part of the investigation into a cause. Now, the first 911 call came in just after 1.30 this morning. Flames and heavy smoke pouring from this two-story home on 58th Street in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The fire reached three alarm status. Once on scene, the FDNY quickly determined that there were, in fact, fatalities. Four people died inside the house, two others at a local hospital. By daytime, the horror even more shocking. Fire marshals have been working to identify a cause. Investigators removed at least two bikes from the house, but have yet to confirm if they were e-bikes or not. I would like to ask all of us gathered here today as well as New Yorkers across our city to take a moment to pray for the full recovery for those who are injured and for the families who have lost their loved ones and whose lives have been devastated by this morning's fire. Because the fire impacted neighboring houses, the Red Cross is assisting those displaced. We're hearing it may be eight persons in total. More than 200 firefighters were on scene during the most intense fighting of this. 239 is the number that we are hearing. We can let you know that three firefighters and two police officers were injured, but those injuries are in fact minor. That is the very latest that we have from Sunset Park.
