Bam, Bill, Alex, and Mike on the airwaves giving what you like.
Topics on fleek, 11 o'clock every day of the week.
Sweet on Fox Local Conversations.
Let's go.
The Friday edition.
This thing.
What's that?
Mike's been messing with me.
I've been messing with this thing for like the last hour.
Now it logged me out of my own Instagram account.
So this didn't do that, but I logged me out
of my own Instagram account.
So now I can't get into my Instagram account.
And all that now says suspicious login attempt.
They blocked me.
That's because you're suspicious.
Right?
That's what happens.
This was me trying to log in.
Like, how are you going to block me from my own account?
I don't know. We'll figure it out.
You know what I'm saying?
So at any rate,
welcome. Log in easier
next time.
Okay, whatever.
Let's get to it. I'm always trying to fix
you guys and now mine's not
working. So what you should
do is follow all of us on social
There you go.
We'll just be overwhelmed and surprised
by all of the numbers that are
coming in. Everybody's good?
I know everybody's ready for a weekend.
I'm always good, man.
I had my weekend yesterday. I was in the streets.
You were out there running the streets?
Yeah, man. Went to the PMA, the craft show yesterday.
Went over to Brooklyn Bowl for...
Who's those cats from Detroit?
Slum Village was over there with Pete Rock.
Like, yo, let's go, man.
Can't nobody wait till Saturday.
Mike runs the streets.
I can wait till Saturday.
He does.
How does he do it?
You got to be outside.
I need this weekend to start on Wednesday.
It does start on Wednesday.
It starts on Wednesday, man.
You're always out there.
I ain't mad at you.
Live your life.
You know what I'm saying?
You got to be outside, man.
I'm not built for that.
Like, I barely run the streets Friday, Saturday.
It's starting on Wednesday.
It's like, no.
There's stuff happening.
Like, my exciting conversations is what we
were just talking about during the break.
It's like getting the Christmas tree set up and ready to go.
That's what it's going to be like.
That'll probably be like a little shoulder bump in my crib.
Like, yo, like, come on, man.
Like, when are you going to go get the tree, Mike?
It's in the basement.
It'll be all right.
Oh, so you got an artificial tree.
Yeah, we got a tree, man.
But, you know, I don't know if I'm going
to do the work to put that thing up.
I got my tree.
My wife will stay on my case, and then eventually
she'll just go get it and drag it upstairs,
and then it'll be there, and then I'll be like, all right,
I guess I got to participate.
So when does it go up?
When does your tree go up?
Oh, if I put up a tree.
Like Thanksgiving?
Well, I usually go home, so I don't really need a tree.
You don't decorate your place here?
Doesn't it just give you festive energy?
I decorate my office and everything else.
Oh, that's wonderful.
Nobody here for a lot, man.
I was going to say, this is more work.
Yeah, then you got to take care of like...
If you're not going to be here for the majority of it.
If it's not something I'm putting up there to leave it up there.
Like you gave me the picture of the...
The drone picture I took.
The drone picture of the tree.
I'll hang that for the holidays.
Mike...
Just one little joint, hang that on the wall someplace,
and then I'll take it back down after the holidays.
That'll be my festive...
Mike Jarek did give me one of those things that you just sling it
and it pops up in the tree so that way it's because he knows
minimal effort and that's the only thing you'll get me to do.
So I can pull that out and just pop and then when I'm done,
the scene's over, I just go like this and put it in a box.
I got you. You want us to decorate your space?
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what the us?
Wait, what?
Whoa, don't involve me in that.
How about this?
Instead of that, you focus on giving me a Christmas gift this year.
I got you.
Dang.
We got to move.
You worried about the wrong date.
I already owned this.
You worried about decorations.
I'm over here getting gifts together.
I already owned this.
We already going to get the Christmas gift.
I'm trying to see if we're going to go ahead
and decorate the spot also.
So you can come in just feeling good.
Let me decorate yours too.
No.
I'm good with mine the way it is.
I don't need Christmas decorations.
Well, your wife, she probably does that.
Oh, she loves it.
She loves decorating for the holidays.
That's why you don't need it, because she's doing it.
Okay.
No, we slow since the kids moved out, so we'll see.
Just chill with it.
Yeah, generally, I'm late with it anyway, but I like it.
All right, so we've got an interesting question today.
What would you do with your people?
So all of us travel.
Um, eh.
You're married with kids, so you probably haven't traveled
with just friends in a while.
No?
Nah.
They don't really mess with me no more.
She gets married, but you know what I mean?
You just ain't available.
I went away last year with another couple.
So we went to Jamaica.
We went there.
You travel with friends sometimes.
Yeah.
All right.
So if your friend...
You're going overseas. You're traveling.
It's time to come back.
Your friend gets a little mouthy.
Here's what happened.
Ta-da!
I'm not getting another flight.
That's what I'm saying.
I don't know what.
Well, we can't bring her stuff.
You guys are going to have to pick your seats.
Sorry.
You're going to have to pick your seats because we have to go.
Bro, she's off.
She's off.
Like...
So, what had happened was, they're making their way back.
Friend apparently had some sort of run-in with the flight attendant.
It escalated.
The friend cursed out the flight attendant and got taken off the plane.
You're overseas.
This is a question.
Ponder this.
Are you getting off with your friend
who got mouthy and got thrown off the plane?
Or are you going to hold on to it and be like, look, you've grown.
You handled it.
You want an answer now?
Think about it.
I don't want an answer now.
We're going to pursue the legal implications of all of this.
We're going to go to the legal.
Right.
15 seconds.
Let's see what they have to say.
What was that?
At Quarter Madness, we eat, sleep, and breathe personal injury.
Our clients are our family, and we protect our family.
People can rely on us as if they could rely on a family member.
We know exactly what to do.
That's why people call us.
I feel like I look at all these stories
through a different lens now,
knowing that we got the legal...
What's the legal implications of all of this?
Let's find out what the team's saying.
There you go.
All right.
Are you getting off the plane?
For your friend who got a little mouthy and did it to themselves.
I'm laughing at my wife.
She said, please don't tell a PR story, the Puerto Rico story.
Oh, wait, did somebody get taken off the plane?
Oh, so she's watching?
She's obviously watching.
Good morning.
Good morning, Miss G.
She said, don't tell that story.
She already know what to stop you from doing.
She already knew where it was going, right?
So there's a story.
So there's a story.
But since I've been warned not to tell that story, I'll hold it.
All right.
Yes, I'm getting off the plane.
Yeah, even if your friend did it to themselves.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
In short, I had a similar situation, and my homie was like, yo,
he got off and he hung with me, but we talked ourselves back on.
But he was like, if you got to stay off, I got to stay off.
So you're the one who got put off.
Well, no, I was like, I didn't get put off, but I was close to it.
The cops was on their way and everything.
Oh, my gosh.
Well, now we want the story.
You know what I'm saying?
And so, my man was just like, yo, Mike, not here, man.
Not now.
Like, do what you got to do with these people,
and we'll fight this when we get back to the
States, man.
Oh, yeah.
Not another country.
Yeah, like, you don't want to do it here.
But he did get off the bus.
Like, it was a bus to go back to the plane.
He was like, he got off the bus.
He was like, yo, if you can't leave, I'm not leaving.
And I'm like, that's what you're supposed to do as a friend, man.
Okay.
You know, we all in this together, man.
I made the mistake, I get it, but don't leave me here.
You know what I'm saying?
Oh my gosh.
Are you getting off with your friend?
Now, context.
The friend did this.
Somebody wasn't wrong.
The friend blew it all up and escalated
and cursed out the flight attendant.
Are you getting off to have your friends back?
Do I have to be at work on Monday?
Do I have a solid justification?
Because I'm not burning up a vacation day.
Because you didn't know when to shut up.
I guess I have to ask, can I get off with her?
Oh,
What country are we in?
I mean, there's a lot of, you know.
A lot of questions about it.
And they did say that they was going to get another flight.
It
They just couldn't ride this flight, right?
Didn't she say, we're going to have to get you another flight?
was
No, they were saying if they got off,
they would have to get them another flight.
We don't know what happened with the friend.
God.
Oh, got it.
So, yeah, like, if they decided to get off,
then they would get another flight.
Like, who knows when.
Right.
They would have to reassign them.
And you'd probably lose the money for the flight you're
on because you're just getting off.
Right.
Because your friend didn't know when to shut up.
I know.
I know Bill would stay on that plane.
So, I actually have had a similar situation.
No, I had a similar situation, but it was different.
It was a girlfriend.
I had to get off.
Oh, that's a girlfriend.
And she didn't really do
Do anything like it was a it was a citizenship issue,
you know, and so they just decided
to make an issue out of something that wasn't.
But if I didn't get off,
I'm leaving her in another country
having to go to an embassy.
This is not the same scenario.
In all this kind of thing.
Right.
That's completely different.
So I got off.
If it's a friend,
would you stay?
I don't know.
I know he'd stay on that plane.
He's staying on the plane.
If it's a friend.
It depends on the friend.
He'd be like,
that's all you.
So like if your brother
cursed out the flight attendant.
Brother's different.
It's a friend.
But even still,
I'm just curious.
No, we need the same scenario.
A friend.
I don't know.
Like I can't answer
as quickly as you guys.
Like,
I mean,
You wouldn't leave his brother.
I wouldn't leave my brother.
Friend is different.
And I don't think I would leave my friend.
But I think that the difference is I would get off the plane,
but I'd be really annoyed about it.
Yeah, but that's what you're supposed to do.
You're not supposed to get off the plane and be smiling about it.
Like, yeah, way to go, homie.
Like, no, you're supposed to be.
And I think it would matter.
Like, it would matter what they did to get thrown off the plane.
Like, if it was one of those things where I'm like, yo.
Calm this down.
They go, no, I got something else to say.
No, no, no, no.
Let this one go.
And if they kept escalating.
You still got to stay with her, Bill.
I don't know.
Then if not, there's not somebody you should be traveling with.
No?
Yeah.
Well, maybe I'm not somebody they should be traveling with.
If they don't know when to shut up, you're
going to leave us stranded overseas.
It's one thing if it's just like an associate.
You know what I'm saying?
It's like your friend's friend
or your friend's spouse and they're mouthing off.
Right.
But if it's like, yo, it's you and me and we out here together, man.
I don't care what you did.
I'm going to be so upset with you when we're off this plane.
You're going to hear my mouth from now
to the time we touch back down in the States.
But I'm here.
But I'm getting off the plane.
Yeah, but I'm here with you, man.
And you picking up the tab to get me back home.
I had so many of those kind of stories.
I got taken off a plane in Africa with an armed guard
who came in and took me off the plane.
I had to go down on the tarmac.
That's how Africa rolls.
They got armed guards everywhere.
Look, I was like, who, me?
They came and took me off the plane.
They let me back on.
But armed guards escorted me down to the bags on the tarmac.
So it was one of those radio station trips where we had, like,
I was the person who was responsible for the people who were there.
And something was in somebody's bag,
but they had me as the person who was responsible for the trip.
We get ready to go, and they come on you.
You.
You.
Yeah, that was scary.
Took me down on the thing,
they're inspecting bags
and people on either side of me
with the big time guns.
Like, give us a reason.
Like, I didn't do it.
All right, so let us know
what you would say.
There's no reason to lose you here
in this country.
I'm sure you can.
April says,
nope, I'll meet you back home.
Don't start no unnecessary stuff.
Always fab. I don't have
friends who would ever behave like this, but
if I did, she's got to face that
punishment alone. Text
me when you land. Cara
says, I'm getting off with my girl. I can't
leave her there alone in another
country. Ella says,
they're left there. I spent money.
Oh, man.
He's saying, Cass, your husband should have punched
your brother in the face yesterday, right?
He's saying, yo, people are
still arguing that point.
I can't believe Mike's just going to let
Let that go.
This is the one time they don't all have your back.
They don't agree with me.
not know hashtag what Mike said on that one
They like, nah, we knocking them out.
Wow.
Quick break and we'll be back.
Hit us up on social media.
Let us know what you think.
Give us a follow.
Would you leave your people behind
or are you getting off the plane with them?
I don't know.
I got to process this one.
Bill, Alex, and Mike, on the airwaves, giving what you like.
Topics on fleek, 11 o'clock, every day of the week.
Sweet, on Fox, local.
Yeah.
Don't leave me like this.
I mean...
You're making me rethink whether
or not I'm going to leave somebody behind.
It's like, not easy.
We're telling all of our stories that are not safe for TV,
all behind the scenes.
I feel like both me and Mike might have got left in various places.
All right.
Right.
So.
We've heard, remember when they brought back,
what was it, Red Lobster, who brought back
the endless shrimp, and it was like a whole big deal.
So there were a couple of social media influencers,
a guy, Eric the Realist is one of them, and
they decided to test whether
or not the endless shrimp thing really is a thing.
And it has people questioning whether or not,
you know, good move, or you're kind of a jerk.
Like, here's what happened.
We're good.
I think we're just going to get the endless shrimp, please.
Yeah.
So y'all really
are unlimited
shrimp, man.
Really unlimited.
Wow.
As much as you can eat.
We went to Red Lobster to test if the shrimp
was really unlimited, and it was unlimited.
We just kept getting refills on shrimp.
Yeah.
Y'all enjoy it, man.
Thanks for what y'all do.
How y'all doing?
Do y'all want some shrimp?
Yeah.
All right, here you go.
Have a good day.
Yes, ma'am.
So that, the last part, when Mike was going, oh,
and Alex went, oh, good, they did the right thing.
When it happened, initially, people, I think,
are watching it and the comments are, you're just a jerk.
This is why Endless Shrimp went away in the first place,
because people are playing games.
But then they did the right thing with it.
I mean, it's still a wrong way to do it.
Exactly.
I agree with you.
But at least, you know, it's like Robin Hood, I guess.
Yeah, and it's not like they just threw them away or they just,
you know what I mean, went home
and gorged on them themselves for the next four days, five days.
They did take them out.
They tested a theory and then they...
I took the results of it and fed people with them.
So I'm okay with it, but I'm kind of like, guys, don't do this.
Yeah, you're going to ruin it for everybody.
That's why we can't have nice things.
This is the kind of thing that ruins it for everybody.
Don't do that.
And we edited it a little bit.
So those containers that you saw, they had about five of them.
They had a lot of shrimp.
And then they had the DoorDash bag.
They left out of there with probably those containers.
They had like...
Four or five of them.
It was two minutes worth of them just filling up buckets.
Which I wonder, I guess they were hiding it from the servers.
Yeah, under the table.
There's no way.
If they saw you actually doing that, I'm sure.
But I'm thinking, like, yo, why ain't
a manager be like, yo, hold on a second.
How many people at that table?
Right.
And how fast it's coming out.
Like, how much food?
Right.
How much?
Yo, I got to go talk to them.
Like, this should be a cutoff on Unlimited Shrimp.
It does not.
I know, but it should be.
And I think part of the reason, and you test the theory,
because when it happened, there was drama.
Because Unlimited Shrimp went away before,
and people were like, oh, so you're just going to come in here.
You're going to say Unlimited,
but you're really going to stop me after two plates.
And so they really were aware of the fact
that we're going to let you eat until you're full.
So they just kept going with it.
Yeah, but still, man.
That's because I don't want copycats now.
Right.
You know what I'm saying?
These guys did it.
We didn't put it on TV.
Now somebody can go out here
and they just unlimited shrimp just for the funny of it.
And it's hard to keep that much fried stuff.
It gets soggy and stuff.
It starts breathing, you know, when you put stuff.
I don't mind
when they get a little soft, like the fried get a little soggy.
No, you want the crunch.
Isn't that the point?
Nah, because then it'll cut the roof of my mouth.
Oh, my God.
Like, another thing, I can't imagine if I'm working in the fire
department and people come in with a bunch of social media influencers
with the camera running, come in with bags of shrimp or whatever.
Like, I don't know that I'm eating that.
Fire department probably didn't eat it.
No, so they rolled in Tupperware containers, filming everything.
You see, you ain't seen nobody pop none of them in their mouth.
They was just like, oh, okay.
As soon as they told them what they did, their energy changed too.
It was like, wait a minute, like this,
because it almost feels like stealing.
Like you're stealing.
Right.
Like, yo, don't bring this to us.
You made us accessories to your crime.
On camera.
Right.
Like, no, we're not eating those.
I feel like there's rules.
Like, it's supposed to be.
And most of those all-you-can-eat things, you can't take to go.
Well, they didn't know they were taking it to go.
No, but I'm saying, but they know now.
So now you're putting it out there.
Like, you just videotaped,
recorded yourself breaking the rule, maybe the law.
Social media does that all the time, I guess.
Is that breaking the law?
Well, I don't know.
Like, if the rule is you can only eat what's there,
and you're essentially stealing from the restaurant.
Yeah.
Now, I wonder if you can go back now that I've seen this video,
like, what if the restaurant went back and, like,
hit him with a lawsuit for all the extra shrimp that they ordered.
You owe us $72.58.
You ate one round of it, but you took out of here five,
52 rounds of it, whatever the number was, right?
Like, we're going to charge you for each one
of those plates we brought you there.
So you owe us.
Yeah.
So we're all voting, eh, bad move,
but at least you did the right thing.
After you stole, you know, on some Robin Hood.
At least you did something okay.
I'm not even saying you did the right thing.
Right, because you could have just bought meals
for the firefighters instead of, like, stealing.
Right, right.
Giving firefighters stolen food.
Yes.
Thank you for your service.
That's probably all soggy because it's breathing
in the thing that they put it in.
It's Tupperware container.
And it looked like they were mixing together fried shrimp
and like the shrimp scampi bowl
were clean.
You just throwing it in a rando DoorDash bag.
Like, come on, man.
I don't even want that food.
Pulled up with a paper bag full of shrimp
for homegirl, and I'm like, come on, man.
You want some shrimp?
Yeah.
Right, like here you go, here's a random paper bag
from some random stranger full of shrimp.
Enjoy.
All right.
We're going to leave it there.
Let's take a quick break, and we'll be right back.
More questions are coming in.
More comments coming in.
April says, ethically, you should stick by your friend,
especially in a different country.
Stick with your friend in public.
In private, they're going to have to hear my mouth.
We'll be right back.
Bam.
Yeah, they're getting it.
Bam.
Bill.
Alex and Mike.
Bigger.
Bill, Alex, and Mike on the airwaves giving what you like.
Topics on fleek, 11 o'clock every day of the week.
Sweet on Fox Local Conversation.
You try and figure out what the tip is on 15 plates of shrimp,
but you only paid for one.
Paid for one.
Yeah, these cats ripped off the system, man.
I'm not a fan of these guys.
Nah?
Nah.
They got over.
Yeah, I don't like the way they played it,
but it was good for the socials.
We have, in the past,
we have talked about at least Alex's desire to take home, when
you go out to a restaurant or something, you take home the leftovers.
Yes, I do.
Proudly.
Proudly.
Proudly.
Head high.
So, there was a scenario that popped up.
On another one of those podcasts,
only black kids in class.
Yeah, I don't like the little plasticky,
but the nice ones that stand up on their own.
I'm saying that's right.
Those are good.
Proudly take them.
You can use that for something else.
Talk about a little desire to go back.
So, a person went out.
They, one person, people wanted to take leftovers.
Their friends gave them a hard time for how it was presented.
This is what happened.
I make under $60,000 a year,
but I always take leftovers home after eating out.
My friends call it cheap, saying it's
not something a professional should do.
Before paying the bill, I suggested, hey,
maybe we can pack up the leftovers and each take what we like.
No point wasting food.
That's right.
Before anyone responded, one girl said, I never take leftovers home.
Reheated food has no nutrients.
I said, that's fine.
You don't have to.
Does anyone else want to pack something up?
Everyone else said no.
One person said it's awkward to carry leftovers on the subway.
And another joked, your salary isn't even that low.
Why act like you're broke?
Oh.
Your salary isn't even that low.
Why act like you're broke?
Why is it acting like I'm broke?
Maybe I just love it.
It tastes good and I want to finish it.
Right.
I agree with you.
That was the question that came up.
Maybe I'm being waste not want not.
Like maybe I'm being better because I'm not wasting food.
I agree with you.
Well, I throw it away.
They're starving people.
You know what I mean?
And I paid for it.
Right.
Okay, don't pack that up, man.
Is it unprofessional as these people,
her whole team of people said it was unprofessional.
I will say if it is a business dinner.
That's different, yes.
I probably will.
It'll pain me.
Oh, it would hurt so bad because I would want to.
But like when I'm doing like a business lunch or like on an interview
and they take you to lunch, I'm not going to do it.
Even though I'll be like, oh.
So would you take, if a bunch of your people
are together, and there's like...
appetizers and all those kind of things.
Do you just take your meal
or if nobody wants all
the food that's there, would you take it all?
Will you ask? Anybody can take it? No, in this
case, they didn't want it. So if they didn't want it,
you'd take it all? And it's something I like?
Yeah, nah, throw that in the bag too, man.
You know what I mean? You can keep all the artichokes. I ain't
crazy about them, but the Brussels sprouts that homeboy
had and the, you know what I mean, those
three wings that she didn't eat, they're like, yeah,
throw all that in the bag. You know what I mean?
All the shared appetizers. Yeah, all that.
Nobody wanted that.
Throw that in there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Honestly, in this particular case,
it's one of the few where I think all of us just agree.
Yeah.
And I never used to, but I'm absolutely the take leftovers guy now.
I think part of it is because I very rarely eat my entire meal.
Right.
So with all of the portion sizes now, I'm like, that's lunch tomorrow.
It's another meal.
It's another throw it in the box, man.
So we're all on board.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And you wouldn't feel bad about it out with all
of your upscale professional friends who are like, Mike, you cheap.
I don't even, look, whatever.
Forever.
Whatever.
Don't go to dinner with me no more.
Because I'm taking it out, taking it to take out tomorrow, too.
We go out again, I'm doing it all over again.
Yes, yes.
I'm going to order some extra things just
so Mike's got some extra appetizers to take home.
All over again.
All right.
Especially when you're splitting the bill.
Might as well order up.
My tab going to be the same no matter what.
And they offered, right?
They offered it to the table.
Nobody else wanted it.
All right, one more break and we'll get out of here.
We found one that we all agree on.
It's only been, what, two years?
We'll be back.
Policyholders.
Just about time for us
to get up out of here.
Any more drops?
Yeah, just have one.
Just have one.
Brand new for the weekend.
Let's go.
Get ready.
So you guys let me know.
Yes, sometimes you need to figure out
a way to say things in morning television.
You know, a euphemism, and I don't know if I did it right.
So you guys can let me know.
So follow, give a come up with that chart up on the screen.
Euphemism for a male part.
Yes.
Give a follow.
You probably botched that up.
There it is.
Let's get everybody's numbers up.
We're getting Alex to a million.
We're getting Mike to 10,000 on Instagram.
I'm trying to get to 1,000 on YouTube, at Bill Anderson on TV.
Appreciate y'all.
Everybody just relax into the weekend.
Yes, please.
And hey, Jim Best, that's just.
Gray hair, man.
It's not fuzz.
Listen, people are looking out for you.
I appreciate the look out, though.
Sending Mike pictures.
It's a little something.
Not so much here or here, but just right here.
That's light for my hair.
What are you going to do?
That's right.
It's experience, man.
That's good stuff.
All right, we got to get out of here.
