6.4 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes May 14th 2025! #uptick

Ladies and gentlemen, we're currently seeing a very large uptick in earthquake activity around the world, probably due to all of the solar flaring our sun is doing, charging these plates up. We've had a... 6.4 magnitude earthquake near Tonga, part of Zealandia, the continent that's rising out of the ocean here that surrounds New Zealand, and that came in only as a 3 on the DYFI, which tells you it was in the middle of nowhere before on the shake map, but it was at a depth of 243.1 kilometers, according to the USGS. Now you can see there's plenty of other large quakes on the map right now. Wow! We might take a look at these this evening late so stick around. Heading over to volcanoesandearthquakes.com you can see that big earthquake right there with two volcanoes right above it. So we know that this is magma moving to the surface. Of course, we've talked about this continent here, Zealandia, rising several times. Let's get some additional information on this. Looks like the main source is the USGS, and they're coming in at 6'4", 243 kilometers. We also have Germany coming in at 242 kilometers, and the French coming in at 6'0", about the same depth. All right, let's get some detailed information about this quake. Heading over to VolcanoDiscovery.com, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake, and we'll get some more information. Confirmed manually, 6.4 main primary source USGS, 3.8 atomic bombs worth of energy released. It's hard to believe there was not a tsunami warning issued with this. Let's compare quake data from different reporting agencies starting out with the USGS at 6-4, 243 kilometers. Germany at 6-4, 242 kilometers. We've got the French coming in at 6.06, 224 kilometers. Raspberry Shake at 6-0, 242 kilometers. We have the Italians coming in also at 6-0, 236 kilometers. We have the Europeans coming in at 6'4", 230 kilometers, and the Incorporated Research Institute for Seismology at 6'4", 243 kilometers. They seem to have that depth down, don't they? The Australians coming in at 6'3", 210 kilometers. They're usually someone to watch. So this was a very strong quake. With that said, there were plenty of very large earthquakes around the globe today. We have a large earthquake, believe it or not. In Nevada, a 4.1, very strange, that's an older quake, the 5.9, I believe that's a 6.0 that we had in Greece, and that's going to be right there in the Aegean Sea that we talked about yesterday as well. With that said, it looks like we're having an uptick, but that will continue as the sun pounds these plates and fills them with energy, which is exactly what's occurring right this moment.
