Falcons prep for historic NFL kickoff vs Bengals in Madrid

7:45 on your clock, the Atlanta Falcons, very close to the 9.30 start time for their first international game in Spain. And Fox 5 Sports' Victor Prieto has been following the Falcons in Madrid, joins us now live. Good morning to you. Good morning, good morning over here. It's good afternoon. We're just a couple hours away until kickoff here in Spain between the Falcons and the Bengals here in the Bernabéu, one of the most beautiful stadiums, really home of Real Madrid. Falcons players behind us getting loose and ready to go. Some pregame notes. We actually just saw James Pierce Jr. out on the field. He was getting loose and stretching. This would be his first game back. If he's going to be back, he's going to be back. He plays. Kevin Stefanski, head coach, telling us he tweaked his back this week during practice. He had been suspended earlier this year, so he's officially listed as questionable. We saw him walking off the field with Matt Ryan, Ian Cunningham. So we'll wait to see what he does. But really, an awesome opportunity for the Falcons to put on a show in front of a lot of fans who don't get to see the NFL. Kevin Stefanski saying this week he wants his guys to put on a good mark and a good show to get some more red and black Dirty Bird fans. I think it's a fast and physical game. I think it's the elite of the elite in the NFL. Thank But it's such a fun sport to watch. It's also a really fun sport to play. So I know young boys and girls fall in love with this game just like I did. And I'd encourage everybody here in this town or in this country to do the same, but make sure they're wearing black and red. you. Want to see them wearing black and red. It was really cool walking around the city this week. So many NFL fans, people wearing, you know, teams talking with fans saying, you know, from Germany, from London coming to watch this game because it's an opportunity for them to see the NFL, to see American football. I won't lie to you. Walking around the stadium, there might be more Cincinnati Bengals fans in this one. Then the Falcons, but still a really cool opportunity for Bijan Robinson, Michael Penix Jr., this entire Falcons organization to put on a show and gain some European and Spanish Falcons fans. We'll have more coverage here from the Bernabéu, but for now here, Victor Prieto, Fox 5 Sports. Yeah, Victor, what an experience for the team, for fans, for you. I'm so happy for you. We'll see you coming up in the next hour. Stay close, everybody. An update on your forecast coming up next.
