Yeah, I mean, kind of had a sense that I was going,
and Coach Ellsworth told me before the half, and you know,
you prepare all week during practice for moments like that.
Practice like you're going to play every snap of the first.
So that's kind of the mindset that I had,
and I was ready when my number was called
and did the best I could.
Obviously not the result we wanted.
You know, learned a lot, did some good things,
but also have to learn a lot from that second half.
So we'll get back to the drawing board and get better.
What was it that you learned from last week's start to this week?
Just to trust in my abilities as a passer,
as a runner, and everything above.
So, you know, I thought last week, you know,
I was ready to go, but prepared the way I needed to prepare.
I just, you know, hesitated a little bit those first couple of drives.
And, you know, needed to trust Josh
on that one where he could just drop step and got a first down.
So just learning curves like that to trust your guys
and trust yourself and just go for it.
What was the mood like in the locker room after a loss like that?
I mean, it's probably what you think it
is in terms of everyone hates to lose,
but the spirits aren't totally down.
I mean, we got guys on this team that love football,
that love each other.
That's why we came to K-State because we're a brotherhood and we're
a family and we're gonna fight for each other
and we're gonna get back to next week's practice and
And, you know, let that one go, but also use it as fuel for us to fire
and also embrace that.
Do you feel any difference with Sean falling close?
I thought he did a great job.
You know, Sean, he works his butt off.
He prepares, gets us ready in terms of, you know, their defense
and, you know, our offense.
And he did a great job.
I thought he was calm.
He was cool, collected, and gave us the tools that we needed to do
to go out there and win.
Are you proud of yourself for the way you kind of ran?
