My Full Treadmill Exercise Plan
1 Video View·Oct 28, 2026
Every day I get asked the same question about my treadmill plan so I decided to make this video explaining my running plan in detail. It has helped me to lose 50+ lbs and it has increased my running stamina by over 1 hour. Hope you enjoy!
A subscriber kindly made a Google Doc of my full treadmill plan.

Good morning guys, so today I'm going to be making a video about
my full treadmill workout for 2019, this is by far
the most common question that I get, I've probably replied
to it thousands of times, so I thought I'd just make a video about
my full treadmill workout plan, I thought it would be quite helpful,
especially at the start of the year, obviously the plan won't work
for everyone, so please make adjustments if you find it too easy
or too hard, but this is just a basic plan that I followed,
it allowed me to run from
Only about 15 minutes and now I can run for about an hour
and 20 minutes or an hour and a half and I've also increased
the speed of which I can run so it really did work for me.
It helped me to lose a lot of weight.
So I'm going to write up a plan on this whiteboard and I'll go
through it with you after I've written it up. So yeah, here goes.
So I hope you can see it on screen. I will
be leaving a full size image of this whiteboard
at the end of the video just in case you can't see it.
But yeah, let me just go through.
some of the points with you so on the first month
this is january i started week one i was running 15
minutes plus a 10 minute warm-up and a 10 minute warm down
so total time i was in the treadmill was
25 minutes but the time i was actually running
was 15 minutes i was running at speed
nine kilometers per hour uh which is this many miles per hour
so i ran at this time and speed
four times a week and then
in the second week i ran 15 minutes again plus a 10 minute warm-up
and warm-down.
But this time I did it five or six times a week.
The following week, the third week,
I've done it 20 minutes, four times again.
And then the following week, another 20 minutes,
but five or six times this week.
And then the pattern just keeps repeating itself.
So in the second month, on the first week I was running 25 minutes,
plus a 10 minute warm up and warm down.
I've done this four times a week,
and then five or six times a week the next week.
And so on and so forth.
So as you can see,
Every two weeks I added five minutes
and every week I added more treadmill sessions and overall I found
this pace really suited me so I kept following this plan all
the way up until the fifth month when I finally managed to run
for an hour consistently plus my 10 minute warm up and warm down.
It's just so important to do warm up
and warm down so I can't stress it enough.
But yeah, once I reached an hour of consistent running,
I then decided to increase my speed to 10km per hour
because I didn't want to just keep increasing the time I spent
on the treadmill because it started to take up a lot of my time
and I just wanted to add some difficulty to this challenge.
So yeah, I then increased my speed to 10km per hour
and I repeated the same pattern and then 65 minutes on the third week,
65 minutes on the fourth week. Of course you can increase
your speed whenever you want, you don't have to.
Follow this whole plan so strict.
As I said, the plan might not be suitable.
Some people might not be able to run 15 minutes right at the start.
If that's the case, just knock it all back to 5 minutes
and then increase it to 10 minutes and so on.
So yeah, there you have it. This is just my basic treadmill plan.
I hope you guys can get some use from it.
Sorry it's quite a boring video,
but so many people ask me this question every single day.
So I thought I'd make a video just to clear it up.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this plan
in the comments below and I'll try to respond to them.
But yeah, thank you so much for watching.
I hope you found something useful you can take from this video.
And I'll see you in the next one.
