Previously on The Apprentice,
the candidates designed a new line
of wearable technology clothing.
So, like, you undo a loop or something
and this comes down, you can open it up.
Tana's decision to hold a focus group
provided valuable insight for Magnet.
What's, like, the most popular gadgets right now?
Just cell phones, basically, yeah.
And once again, Craig and Kendra just couldn't get along.
You have to think of the woman's logic
of why she would want to buy this pair of pants.
This kind of thing, it's just, this isn't my thing.
Craig just pushes my buttons.
It's just, it's frustrating.
At Net Worth, things unraveled for Chris.
Hey, I'm missing a credit card.
I'm not kidding.
And to make matters worse,
Angie stumbled through the team's presentation.
This is, this is Travis.
Angie kind of froze up, it was terrible.
Net Worth lost, sending them to the boardroom
for the sixth consecutive week.
So who blew it?
Chris had one purchase and lost the credit card.
She's in charge of the presentation
and that's how we lost.
But Angie had to face the facts.
Angie, when you made your presentation, you choked.
Yes, sir.
Angie, you're fired.
Six candidates are left.
Who'll be fired this week?
I've picked Alex to get fired, who do you think?
I'm picking Angie.
Why is it Chris always gets to snake out?
He doesn't do anything and contribute anything.
I'd rather see Chris fired for sure.
He's just out of his league here.
This is just, he's a virgin and we're all sluts.
Oh, that was a bad one.
I was very, very, very surprised
that Chris didn't get fired.
Chris, he's got some definite staying power.
Mr. Trump said that you're all are just losers.
And then at the end of the entire thing,
he goes back and he says,
Chris, your disaster goes off on me again.
We were having the same conversation.
Yeah.
That's not funny.
After six losses in a row,
Mr. Trump's extremely disappointed in me.
That's why I need to be a project manager
and not only win, but kick their ass.
This is the Net Worth team.
Just so you guys know.
For the first time, it hit me that
we're down to the final six.
I was looking around the room tonight
and I was thinking, this is it.
It's kind of a pivotal moment.
I think now is the time to be noticed.
I think it's time to step it up
and to show Mr. Trump what I'm really capable of.
Good morning.
Good morning, it's Rona.
Mr. Trump is down at 40 Wall Street
meeting with executives from General Motors.
And I'll meet you in front of the New York Stock Exchange
at 8.30.
Thank you, bye.
Bye-bye.
Great to be with you.
How's Pontiac doing?
Pontiac's doing fantastically well.
Thank you, Donald.
I hear you're doing very well.
And the new car looks fantastic.
It's a beautiful car.
Good, well I hope it does as well as this building.
I bought it for a million, it's worth 400 million
and I'm happy.
I'd be happy too.
Come on.
Good morning, sir.
Welcome to week 12 of your 16 week job interview.
Net Worth, you're a mess, a total mess.
You have only two people while Magna has four.
So I'm gonna ask you, who would you like to pick
to join the Net Worth team?
Sir, we're gonna bring Brent over.
Okay.
Brent, go ahead, over.
Bye.
Welcome to the team.
All right, let's get started.
Behind me is the New York Stock Exchange.
It's truly magnificent.
If you're in business, there's just nothing like it.
On my right, I have executives
from the Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors.
General Motors is valued at $25 billion,
which, by the way, is only 19 billion more than me.
So that's not so great.
You started a lot earlier than I did.
You got time.
That's right, I'm catching.
Today, you're going to create a promotional brochure
for General Motors' newest car, the Pontiac Solstice.
It is totally beautiful.
In fact, I might ask you, could you describe the car?
It's a sexy, gorgeous, two-seat Roadster.
You heard that.
Sexy, gorgeous, two-seat Roadster.
In fact, whoever becomes my apprentice
will be given one of these really great cards.
To create your brochure, you'll have access to models,
photographers, lighting, studios, and printing facilities.
The team that creates the most compelling brochure
as determined by the Pontiac executives wins.
Dana, based on the fact
that you were the winning project manager last week,
you will be exempt.
Carolyn and George will be with you, as usual.
Losers to the boardroom, where somebody will be fired.
Have fun.
Good luck.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you.
I've printed, designed, and written four press kits,
just like this.
This is exactly on point with things that I've done.
Now, I would be honored if you guys
would be confident with me
as the project manager for this task.
I'd be willing to support you as project manager.
I would, too.
Awesome.
Most of the brochures that I've done
have some sort of folder.
This is just an idea to have the folder,
have a slot for a CD.
I don't think they want a CD, from what I'm gathering.
I'm saying I want us to be focused on the brochure,
and that's it.
Right, okay.
I agree.
I looked at Tana and Craig at that moment,
and I just wanted to say,
what on earth did you want me to be project manager for
if you're gonna shoot down all of my ideas?
It became very clear to me
in the first 15 minutes of the task
that I was going to be battling my teammates,
and that they didn't have very much faith in me.
We're finally working together, is this crazy?
I know.
The three of us are working together.
Good stuff, baby.
And it's just us three.
I know, it's good stuff.
That's what's wild.
I'm really excited that I was asked
to come over to Net Worth,
and I think I'm gonna help end a sixth losing streak,
and give Net Worth a much-needed victory.
Dude, it's three guys and it's a car.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, just think about it.
Two chicks and one guy is over at MagnaCorp.
Yeah!
That's it!
Tana, Craig, and I arrived at Kaplan Thaler,
which is the advertising agency for Pontiac,
to begin brainstorming ideas for this awesome brochure.
Look at the lines on that.
Oh, that's cute.
It's made in three MSRP, $20,000.
That's awesome.
Sold!
We're trying to appeal to the emotional side
of the purchaser, because basically,
this is an emotional buy.
Our brochure is gonna tell the story
of a love affair with a car.
Every time you turn the page,
there's gonna be a different emotion that's evoked,
and the picture is going to evoke that emotion.
We're doing the acceleration of the emotions.
So that's the overall essence of what we wanna convey.
I guess what we're needing is,
what is it gonna be, our theme?
I hope Kendra's not just sitting there saying,
well, all we gotta do is get some great pictures,
and kinda put some big words, fun, and all that,
and then we're done.
She just doesn't get it most of the time.
I've seen people go 48 hours and even more,
days and days without any sleep
in order to get a deal done.
Sometimes you have to do that.
You have to love what you do.
Number two, you can never give up.
You can never quit.
And if you don't have the physical
or mental stamina to do it, guess what?
You better be doing something else.
You can never, ever quit.
Check it out, this is the bathhouse.
Our task was to create a brochure
for the Pontiac Solstice, a brand new car from GM.
Here we go.
So we all headed over to the bathhouse studio
to start shooting.
Take a look.
Whoa.
Should we get our pen and pencils and start?
This is fabulous.
I would like somebody here,
because us telling them to do this, that, and the other,
we come back, God forbid, we don't have what we wanted.
Whose fault is that?
I wanted to leave Craig in charge of the studio shoot
because Tana and I needed to go start
shooting our exterior photographs.
Is there something that jumps out at you
that you'd like to cover?
Definitely this right here, this paneling.
That's not as important, getting those close-ups.
Basically, there's such beautiful lines and crips.
You want to try and get a detail of the real sexy curves.
Yes.
Kendra began micromanaging.
If you're going to entrust me to define
what we wanted in the pictures,
then go on and do what you have to do,
or you stay here and let me go.
Once we've gotten through the basic shots,
will you give me a call and communicate
what some of the ideas are?
Okay.
All right, cool.
Wow, this looks great.
Doesn't it?
Yeah.
Beautiful.
The moment I first laid eyes on that car,
it was like a beautiful woman.
You just couldn't take your eyes off of it.
See the tag with the design on it, the logo?
Yes.
We need to incorporate that.
Yes, we do.
Okay.
Get plenty of interior pictures, door open.
Got it.
Write that down.
You're right.
What do you think about Brenton getting going?
I think Brenton can get going, personally.
I wanted Brenton working on researching
everything about the writing
that should go into the brochures
because he's very well-spoken, he's an attorney.
All right, you're gonna get moving?
Mm-hmm.
Do some research and let's make a nice brochure.
Alex, I'll see you later.
See you, buddy.
All right, he's got that under control.
Don't sweat him.
Yeah, what do you mean?
Sleek, passionate.
Ooh, here we go.
Sexy, energetic.
Hold on.
Successful.
Tanner and I asked people that were standing around
watching the photo shoot to describe the emotions
that this Pontiac Solstice evoked from them.
I would definitely use cool.
Sexy, young, free, and open.
Almost every single emotion
had something to do with desire.
And we're incorporating all of those words
into this brochure.
Beautiful tail.
That looks really nice.
Okay, we're good.
I wanna use the gray.
Good, okay.
The gray building.
I love the gray, dude, and I like this gray.
I love the structure.
Let's get a crazy tweaked shot,
not just a straight up shot.
We twist it?
Yeah, let's do that.
Looks cool, huh?
Sick.
Excellent.
I love it.
Okay, we've got this.
We're done.
I've just been working on these exterior shots,
and I truly believe that we've got incredible photographs.
Alex is doing the interior shooting,
so hopefully we have an abundance of photographs
to choose from, which is really cool.
Playful kitty, there you go.
Nice and coy.
Let's, one last shot.
Okay, that's it.
Okay, good job.
Wrap, everybody.
All right, thank you very much.
This was an adventure.
Thanks for everything, man.
Appreciate it, brother.
Hey, you all right?
Appreciate everything.
Did you get a specific detailed of the tire,
stuff like that?
Did not have any time.
Bottom line is I couldn't get it done in time.
Dude, did we get a picture of this?
Not by itself.
Bren's gonna flip out.
That's so bad.
I was just disappointed in the fact
that Alex screwed up the interior photos.
I'm so surprised it dropped the bolt like that.
I just didn't see it coming.
Now, this one is, I know this is really super fuzzy.
Yeah, I can't even see.
Well, let's see, but that's the thing, though.
That's the cool part.
We'll have to have like sections of interior styling.
Okay.
Right?
And that's gonna include one.
We just got one of the interior?
Yeah.
We didn't get like the door open
or anything like that or the trunk?
It was no time.
Did y'all ever get the inside little tag?
No, it's not bad.
I told both Chris and Alex,
we have to get a shot of that tag.
We could have put that on the cover of that brochure.
It would make you wanna pick that brochure up.
Alex didn't do it.
That's what would have been kick-ass.
That is hot.
Shoot, that could be the front.
That could be like the front of the packaging, actually.
You all right, babe?
Oh, yeah, I'm just rubbing my eyes.
Should we take one overhead, just in case?
Okay, we'll grab that one, too.
Yeah, we're sitting here watching this
whereas we could be working on the text
that's gonna be going with all this.
I think it's the most efficient way.
At this point, it would be best to get our photographs.
I wasn't interested in sitting and watching
the same pictures that had been taken all day.
So I went back to the war room
to focus on getting more familiar with this product.
We might have one at nighttime, too, that works better,
but we'll take it for now.
What Tim and Craig don't realize
is that the print production process,
it just takes a long time.
Because of my experience with publishing,
I knew that this was gonna be an all-night task,
especially if we wanna win.
What you doing?
Kinda trying to get some structure.
I mean, we got tons of pictures,
but we have no type to go with it.
Maybe you feel that way, but I don't feel that way at all.
Why is it?
We still don't have a concept or a theme.
It hasn't changed since you left to come here.
Are we having trouble?
We've gotten all day,
and we don't have a concept, a theme, or an idea.
I'm frustrated about that.
I had a theme, and I had communicated it to Craig.
Craig just doesn't listen.
I was getting so frustrated with Craig at this point,
I really felt like I was all alone in the process.
Okay, just hold on one second.
No, I'm not gonna waste time.
I can't sit and watch this over and over.
That's all.
You're gonna be primarily...
Writing this entire thing.
It's gonna take me all night to write this.
Look at the timeline I gave you.
Why are three of us on the team together?
Do you think Craig, Tana, and Kendra
will pull an all-nighter?
I'd say most assuredly not.
Tana and Craig are not familiar
with the concept of an all-nighter.
Oh, Craig is not, bro.
Oh, I know he's not.
He'll be passed out at like 2.30.
Dude.
Here's the thing.
You and I know we can't stay here all night.
I'm already feeling like my throat's getting sick.
I can't continue.
I cannot stay up until eight in the morning.
Kendra's doing the old,
oh, it's gonna be an all-nighter.
I'll just drink four more cups of coffee.
Well, guess what?
I don't drink coffee.
My comfort level is,
I like to get my ass in bed around one.
Her comfort level is probably
she wants us to stay till 6 a.m.
So I have no problem saying,
honey, I know I did a damn good job.
I'm exempt.
My ass isn't going anywhere.
So goodnight, God bless.
Let me just say something, Kendra,
that you probably don't know.
Craig and I, we definitely do shut down early.
I don't like to stay up.
No, we're not gonna do that.
Because bodies aren't made to stay up
just to be staying up.
We don't do well that way.
Okay, I just, I'm the kind of person
who really respects my teammates' opinions,
and I enjoy doing things as a team.
I'm not convinced that what you just said is true yet.
So we, it's all good.
I think what Craig's trying to say,
what he wants to see is some vision
of your magazine experience,
your publication experience.
Paula, at the very least, I appreciate your honesty,
while I'm extremely offended by it.
But I appreciate your honesty.
You know, Tana had the audacity to say to me,
since you're the one with all the magazine experience,
you should basically do everything.
If that's what it has to take
to get the job done and to win,
that's what I'm going to do.
Pontiac Solstice was born as a concept car in 2002.
A two-seat, lightweight sports car
engineered for the individual.
Imagine the look on your neighbor's face
when this sleek little sportster
leaves his imported toy choking in dust.
Freedom.
Success.
Inhibitive.
Individuality.
Passion.
Brainchild of GM and chairman,
Bob Lutz, the Solstice representative.
That works.
My boy, he stayed up with me all night.
And Alex was asleep.
What's up with that?
He's such a little sissy.
Okay.
Thank you guys.
I'll see you in a little bit, okay?
See you later.
Awesome.
Tana and Craig fell apart on me.
My team didn't believe in me.
We just left.
Went back to the suite,
and I had created this amazing brochure
for Pontiac Solstice,
and I had done it all by myself.
I was on top of the world.
Damn, girl, just that sucks.
I've got like a silly grin on my face.
It's so awesome.
Good job, girl.
What the hell is this doing in my bed?
This is the brochure.
Just be careful with it.
It's handmade.
We went to the advertising agency
to see the final brochure that we'd be presenting.
George, you are gonna love it.
This is something else, bro.
Oh man.
It's great.
Is that beautiful?
Brent didn't make the text persuasive.
I just thought it was boring,
and it was flimsy.
There was nothing to it.
Took the holy grail.
You succeeded.
Yes, we did.
We'll find out to what level we succeeded
in a little bit here.
Where's that at?
That is it.
Take it out.
It runs.
Okay.
We're so excited.
And close your eyes, please.
The suspense was just killing me.
I mean, at this point,
I just wanted to see the look
on Craig and Tana's faces
when they saw this amazing brochure
that I had created.
Solstice.
Love it.
Yeah.
That is great.
Thank you.
I knew it was possible,
especially when I knew we had a great product.
At the end of the day,
we did all deliver on this one.
That looks so good.
Turn it over.
I'm looking at Tana and Craig going,
you gotta be kidding me.
The project manager
is not the one who does everything
while you do nothing
and go home and get your beauty or else.
I just have a completely different type of work ethic.
Oh.
Oh, yeah.
Great.
I love you, too.
Hello.
Hi.
How are you?
Good to see you, too.
How are you?
Nice to see you.
Pleasure.
Good to see you.
Nice to see you again.
We wanted to take this opportunity
to thank you for this incredible opportunity
to work with such an incredible car.
We're standing in front of the Pontiac executives
and before I can even open my mouth and get a word out,
Tana starts talking.
I couldn't believe it.
We were very excited at the curvature
that this car had to offer.
Tana created the appearance that it was her concept
and I'm looking at her going,
I'm the project manager.
Shut up.
At a car dealership, so.
We would like to present you with our brochure.
We wanted the consumer,
when they had it in their hand,
it to stand out and be something different.
We focused on the honeycomb grille
because that's one of the distinguishing characteristics
of the Solstice.
We wanted to give you all the option
of being able to incorporate the CD
and also business cards.
We conducted a focus group
to tell us the first emotion that came to mind
when they saw the Solstice.
Every single emotion that was evoked
had something to do with desire.
Thank you very much for your hard work.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Bobby, take me over to the Pontiac offices right now.
Send in that work, please.
Hello?
The first thing I thought when I saw the Solstice
was not only exteriorly, but interiorly.
This was truly the design of a sports car.
Chris feels very uncomfortable as a public speaker.
Chris makes up words like interiorly and exteriorly.
And when you look in the review mirror,
you're not thinking about what you left behind.
You're being reminded of what's driving you forward.
The Solstice Roadster.
Solstice Roadster.
Okay.
I'm sorry, just because you started off
with the blurred shot.
What was your description behind that kind of technique?
It's got this blurred image,
which I feel is appealing, not only in just this,
but it's going to push them to go to the next page
and to look what's next in this.
What would drive a customer to that piece?
The shape.
It's a great shape.
And also, the bright color of the Pontiac sign.
Thank you very much.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you.
Hi.
How are we doing?
Doing well.
How did my teams do?
Well, one of them really nailed the emotion of the car
and one of them tried to nail the emotion
and didn't.
Okay, so where are they?
Do you want to call them in?
Yeah, we'll bring them in.
Networth and Magna, please come in now.
Hello.
Networth.
We believe that your goal
in delivering a very emotional, persuasive message
did not ultimately come through in the end.
You delivered a lot of information about the car,
but the information is not enough to persuade,
ultimately, what is a very serious purchase.
Magna, on the other hand,
I think you delivered just exactly what we needed.
You delivered the emotion of our car.
You delivered it in a creative way,
which I think is also a benefit to our car and to Pontiac.
And we are as enthused enough about your catalog
to produce it ourselves and use it in reality
when the car goes on sale.
So we would like to congratulate you
as the winner of this task.
We have a slam dunk winner here.
Thank you.
Wow.
When a company such as Pontiac
wants to actually use your campaign,
that's something that you should be very proud of.
At that moment, I was just so ecstatic
because I had done this by myself.
My team had abandoned me.
And for me, that was just a personal moment of victory.
Kendra, congratulations.
As project manager, should you lose,
you can't be fired next week.
And for your reward, as the leader of the winning team,
you'll meet another successful team leader.
Magna, you're going to Madison Square Garden
where you're going to meet with Isaiah Thomas
and some of the great Knick players.
And sadly, Net Worth, the only slam dunk you'll be seeing
is when I fire one of you tonight.
Ellie, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die.
We decided to go out tonight
and spend the last night of just the boys.
Yeah, it's bittersweet, but you know,
it's all gotta come to an end.
I'm still very disappointed that we haven't been,
we didn't beat them.
I don't understand how that group was more creative
and they were, I mean, let's be honest.
Kicked our ass.
I've lost seven times in a row.
I mean, it's just getting weird to be honest.
I was the project manager because I did feel
as though I had something to prove to Mr. Trump.
I worked my ass off and I tried to prove myself
and apparently I got out thought.
I was very psyched that I was going to be in the presence
of Penny Hardaway, Jamal Crawford,
Tim Thomas and Isaiah Thomas.
This is just amazing.
Hi, how are you?
Welcome to the garden.
Thank you, Tana.
I'm Isaiah Thomas, how you doing, Tana?
Nice to meet you.
Thank you, thank you.
Hey, Isaiah.
How you doing?
Nice to meet you.
Thank you so much.
Hello, how you doing?
It is so good to see you.
Now this is a winner.
I think y'all should make the Donald shoot a free throw.
Oh!
Oh, and the pressure's on!
We got a sub!
Yeah!
We got a pretty cheerleader.
This definitely is going in.
Here's what we're going to do.
Why don't you come down, everybody get on the baseline.
It's pass, go behind.
It's one ball, pass, go behind.
And when you get down to the other end,
you guys stop, somebody make a layup.
And now you try.
Let's go!
Oh, shoot!
Pass, go behind.
Oh, oh, oh, oh!
You guys are supposed to work as a team.
Are y'all a team, right?
Okay, so y'all are supposed to work together.
Let's go!
My strategy has been to take a step back
and be quiet and observe while everyone else
tried to steal the spotlight from each other.
And I know who every single opponent is
as far as their strengths and weaknesses and personalities.
And in the 12th week of this interview process,
I decided that it was my time to shine.
And now I'm a force to be reckoned with.
When Alex and Chris told me
that they wanted me to be on the team,
I felt very flattered and honored.
And I thought that was a chance to go over to a losing team
and try to pull the team out of the muck and the mire,
but it just didn't happen.
Buddy, it's been great, man.
It's all good, bro.
Love you, dude.
Love you, bro.
You're a good guy.
You're a great man.
All right, let's go cut each other's hearts out.
I know, let's slit each other's throats.
I'm going there every week.
I mean, it's just like, why do I keep losing?
I perceive myself as being somewhat of a brilliant young man,
but yet I can never win.
Go at it.
Oh, I've seen so much of you two, especially Chris.
You know, you lost seven times in a row.
Yes, sir.
So what do you think, Brent?
Do you think they brought you down?
Absolutely.
Why do you think you became a loser overnight?
We were not creative with our brochure.
It was not compelling, nor was it innovative.
Not nearly as competitive when you look at these two.
I mean, I look at this, it's fantastic.
And you look at this,
it's like you'd go and get any place, right?
And they really did a great job.
They did.
So good that Pontiac,
they're gonna use it in a multi,
multi-million dollar campaign.
Compare that to what you have here.
They have a card, you don't have a card.
Everything that you don't have, they have.
It's a teaser.
That is just to get you to have interest
in buying this car.
This design is incredible, and it really is.
I don't think the pictures are any better
than pictures that we got taken.
We had great pictures.
Not the ones you put in your brochure.
I don't like the picture you have.
You know, this one picture looks like it's out of focus,
and that's your primary picture.
That was the point of that, was the point of that.
That's a beautiful car that's totally out of focus.
Right, I agree.
I hate it.
I mean, I'm saying, you know,
is something wrong with my eyes?
Look at that, Alex.
Compare that.
I mean, it's totally out of focus.
Yeah, this is really something.
They killed us.
What about the picture of the fuzzy automobile?
Well, Chris and I both chose that together.
We thought that this would give you the sense of speed,
and it conveys a certain personality.
But that's your first, that's the first page.
How many pictures did they take?
We took about 150, 200 pictures.
150, and this is the best you came up with?
Did you think it was gonna win when you let it go?
Sir, I would never in my mind think that I was gonna lose,
so yes, I thought it was gonna win.
But you lose every week.
Well.
How do you explain that?
I have no clue how to explain it,
because I don't lose in life at all.
I don't know why I keep losing.
I don't know.
This should have been a slam dunk for you guys.
All you have to do is sell a hot car with a hot brochure.
The one thing that I insisted on
that neither Alex nor Chris did,
there is a metal tag on the inside
that had an artist's drawing of the car,
and I said, whatever y'all do tonight,
you gotta get a picture of that.
If we'd put that picture on the cover of that,
I mean, it would have been absolutely
the step in the right direction.
I mean, it's plain Jane.
Why didn't you put the car on the cover?
Because I wanted to leave it up for interpretation.
That's the answer.
What did you all think of the Solstice?
It's a beautiful car to me.
But Chris, what did you think of the look of the car?
I love the car.
I'm going to buy one, to be honest with you.
Desire was the first word that came to me.
What do you think, Alex?
When I saw this back portion, I knew that was a car for me.
All three of you are talking about your emotions
on this car, especially you, Brent.
I mean, what you just said, you should have just put in print.
Everything that you wrote there in print is so boring.
Alex, what did you think of the text?
I thought it was terrible.
Alex, you read all of that text.
You certainly never, up until now,
have you told me that you had any problem
with what was written there.
So Brent did the writing.
Yes, sir.
You think he's responsible more so than Chris?
I think Chris is at fault, because Chris saw
that text as it was there.
OK, well, you were just involved with putting them together
with me.
That's accurate.
Placing pictures on it, that's it.
If the verbiage was so bad, why didn't you change it?
Then if it was so horrific, I want to know the answer to that.
You're not taking responsibility for the fact
that you thought there was something wrong with it
and didn't make it better.
Alex, if you thought that the text was so bad,
why didn't you do something about it?
Well, I took a nap from 5.15 to 6.50 when I woke up.
Saying that you had a nap is probably not a positive thing.
Why would you take a nap?
Here's the reason why.
You're fighting for your life.
You have a limited period of time.
Are you taking a nap?
Chris, what was the reason that this task failed?
I mean, obviously the writing.
Chris, I'm so appreciative that you decided to wait
till now to verbalize it.
You had plenty of chances during this task to say,
wait a minute, you need to stop, you need to change directions,
I don't like what I see.
Never once did you do any of that.
But you guys are missing the boat again.
I don't care if you wrote the most beautiful language
in the world, nobody's going to read it.
They're interested in seeing a car
that they might enjoy buying.
So show pictures that makes it attractive.
Show colors at this point to make it something
that's pleasing to the eye.
You took a gray car and put it up against a gray building.
Great color.
I don't care what the text was.
Chris, I think it's amazing to lose seven times in a row
and not be fired.
Sir, losing seven times in a row
has been the most insane experience that I've ever had.
To be quite frank.
He could be lucky too.
And he is lucky.
And somebody was a little bit worse every week.
Seven times, somebody has been worse.
I feel very happy with what I do when I'm done
in every task that I've done.
Have I thought in my mind,
yes, I could have done substantially better?
Of course.
George, you've been my advisor for many years.
Who would you fire?
My feeling would be I would fire Chris.
Carolyn.
Chris, you have been here seven times in a row now.
And I think you could have stopped this disaster.
I would probably have to go with Chris.
I think your writing, Bren, was a disaster.
I really believe you have more talent than that.
But I thought your writing was absolutely terrible.
What I didn't like about Alex, however,
is that he saw that your writing was terrible
and he did nothing about it.
No, sir.
He did nothing about it.
Well, you did nothing about it.
He was sleeping.
The bottom line though, Chris,
is you were the team leader.
The team was a mess.
The project was no good.
And Chris, you're fired.
Seven weeks in a row, you are fired.
Out, go.
Hey, Chris, two things.
Listen to me, come here.
Two things.
And don't take it so hard.
Get over here, get over here.
Two things.
I want you to promise me.
You gotta watch your temper.
Okay, you got a lot of emotion.
Sometimes that gets into temper.
Number two, stay away from that damn tobacco.
Okay, you promise?
Yes, sir.
Okay, you got a lot of potential.
You're gonna be a big success.
Thank you.
I have no doubt about it.
Thank you.
See, I think he's a good kid.
He's a great kid.
It was time.
It was just time.
He's young, but he's a good kid.
Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.

I'd really like to thank Mr. Trump,
George and Carolyn for the opportunity
to experience this rollercoaster ride.
It's great times.
I've met such incredible people
and just so happy to have been given the chance
to really go through this
and to meet the people that I met.
Tonight's boardroom was very interesting.
I got to go into combat with two of my bros,
two of the guys in the suite that I care about the most.
I wish them the best of luck.
And I just wanna thank Mr. Trump and Carolyn and George
once again for the opportunity.
