What's Really Buried Under St. Paul's Cathedral?

Beneath the floor of St Paul's Cathedral lies a compressed core sample of London itself. Five cathedrals have stood on this hill, stacked one on top of the other, and beneath them all sit Roman cremation urns, Anglo-Saxon graves lined with chalk, the bones of a medieval king, and a sarcophagus built for a disgraced cardinal that now holds Britain's greatest admiral. The famous Temple of Diana that everyone repeats is almost certainly a myth. But what is actually buried here is stranger than the myth ever was.
