President Donald Trump speaks to reporters at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Oct. 26.
So we'll be going to a great place, Mississippi,
and we're going to get Cindy Hyde-Smith elected.
She's doing very well, I think.
And we want to make sure she gets elected
because she's a great senator.
Mr. President, this race was moved
from solid Republican to likely Republican.
Well, it was.
The race for Cindy Hyde-Smith.
I don't know. I mean, I think she's doing very well,
but I want to make sure she wins.
She's a great person and she's a great senator.
She loves Mississippi. She loves her state.
Mr. President, you've made it very clear.
Bolsonaro's loss in Brazil.
Any comment on that?
Do you think the election was fair?
Well, it looked terrible to me.
I thought it was a terrible look.
And I didn't take sides, but it looked
like another rigged election, frankly.
I didn't take sides, but it was a terrible look for the world.
It's another election.
You know, elections have to be indisputable.
And it looked very bad to me.
I didn't take sides.
I didn't endorse anybody or anything, but I watched the election.
It looked so, so corrupt, so terrible.
Sir, what do you want to do about that, sir?
You've made it very clear that any non-citizen
that votes would be automatically deported.
Do you think that would clean up elections?
And should you say that at all of your rallies?
Well, I think so.
And we do that.
And we're starting that process.
And I'm also going to be issuing a million-dollar bonus
or reward or whatever you want to call it
for anybody that reports voter fraud leading to the arrest
and conviction of somebody
for giving that person a million dollars.
Mr. President, on the Israel elections,
did Prime Minister Netanyahu ask you to give that second endorsement?
Did he plead with you about that?
No, I never spoke about it, no.
I gave, it wasn't an endorsement, it was just,
I put out both endorsements, I put out both.
It was just a, I think he's done a very good job
as prime minister under very trying conditions.
Sir, can I ask you just on Brazil, just one more thing on Brazil.
Do you want to do something about the election?
Well, I'm not running Brazil, I'm running the USA.
And I just thought that the election was,
I like Lula, I get along with him very well.
I just think it had a very bad look,
the election, the way it was tabulated.
The extension given was very strange.
Do you have further response to Obama
who made fun of the Cheesecake Factory
compared to the White House and your decoration?
You know, I've taken care of the White House.
I fixed it with the finest artisans in the world.
We've re-skinned it. It was in horrible shape.
A lot of the ornaments and the things that were originally built
on the White House were missing or damaged or gone for a long time.
They were laying on the ground in some cases,
and it was in terrible shape.
The exterior plaster was broken,
cracked, and the painting was terrible.
And I've re-skinned the building beautifully with the highest,
most talented people.
Anywhere in the world, you're not going to find more talent.
And the White House looks beautiful.
And guys like Obama, they would pass the front door,
they'd see the broken masonry, they'd see the broken,
the beautiful pilasters that were all broken.
For years they were broken.
And he wouldn't notice because he doesn't notice that.
He doesn't notice dirt and filth that hadn't been cleaned,
where the walls hadn't been cleaned for years.
He doesn't notice areas that haven't been painted.
So it's very easy for me to do.
So I do it very, very simply, because it's my nature,
you know, I'm a very clean person.
And the White House was in terrible shape.
The White House is now in the best shape it's been since 1792,
when it was built.
It's in beautiful shape.
You take a look at it, it looks beautiful, and I'm proud to do it.
I do it with five minutes a day, 10 minutes a day.
I have the very talented people, they work there,
many of them are in Department of Interior.
worked there. They've done a fantastic job.
And you have to remember, the White House,
we have to explain that to Obama
because he doesn't understand it because he's not a smart
guy. Let me tell you, in my opinion,
he's not smart at all because the way he ran the country,
only a stupid person would run the country like that.
But we have to explain to Obama that the
White House is a symbol of America
and it has to be maintained properly. It has to be painted
it and the exterior plaster can't be falling off the walls
and the decorations and ornaments
around the windows that are magnificent can't
be on one side of the window and fall it off on the
other side. So we took molds of the one side
and we put it on the other side and we did a beautiful
job. Very little money spent. It's not about money.
It's about seeing. Guys like Obama don't
see it. You don't see dirt. He doesn't see filth.
He doesn't see broken ornaments on a building.
The White House to President Obama is a symbol of America.
It has to be clean.
The columns can't be broken.
The bricks can't be falling off from under the plaster.
And for you to say it's a cheesecake factory,
that just shows why you're a lousy president, right?
Mr. President, on Venezuela briefly,
do you have any thoughts of Machado coming back into the country?
And do you think they're going to need a debt restructuring?
I don't know. We'll take a look at it.
