Lake Michigan SALMON FISHING.. NONSTOP ACTION!!

What's going on here, Jeeps? What do you got going on here? I don't want to be that guy, but like... What the f***? I think it's funny. If you guys have been watching my channel for a while, I start a lot of my videos at the gas station talking about, Hey, you know, it's dollar or whatever gas. This is for sure the most I've ever paid for gas in my life. How much does gas cost where you guys live? Ugh. It's just painful, dude. It's just painful. So today, I'm actually sleeping in a boat for the first time overnight. My buddy Ryan asked me if I want to go out and chase some spring kings tomorrow. I've tried literally for... I've casted over 24 hours chasing spring kings off the pier this year, and I've had no luck, and I don't think that it's going to be happening anytime soon. All the lake conditions are completely shot at this point, so... Shout out to Captain Ryan. Fishing the ferry charters. Originally, I would have had a long, long drive up here, but... Thanks to Ryan, we're crashing in the boat tonight, baby. Let's go. Don't get mad at me for showing them the secret sauce, Ryan. It's kind of cool, though. It's so fishy down here. It's just got boxes of lures and everything. This is living, man. Got a full-size. Got a full-size bed. All I got is just a blanket, and I brought two pillows in my truck, but... Brought the sleeping bag just in case if it gets a little too cold. I just have this little space heater. I can lay my legs flat. Like, that's the most important thing, right? And I'm sleeping with bae. Oh, that's crazy. Hopefully, I don't, like, roll over and hit these or something. But... Freaking sweet, man. I've never slept in a boat before. This is definitely going to be something new to me, but... It's already getting late. Ryan's going to be here. I think he said at, like, 4.30, 5 o'clock. So, I got a... I got a pretty early get-up tomorrow. I think it's time we shut the hatch here and call it a night. See you guys in the morning. I'm going to meat up here. Get a nice little fresh strip of ballyhoo. Okay. I'm going to stuff it in my meat head over here. Explain what you're doing. So, you're just putting this in the... Yep, this is a meat head, a.k.a. a helmet. And then we just insert the meat strip. And we'll peg it in there with a toothpick here. Oh, right on. Is that, like, a glow head or something? Yep, this is a glow head here. Right on, dude. And that's a flasher with... Flasher, teaser rig. And that's just an attractant. Like, it just brings them in, like, catches their eye. Yep, yep. And then they smell the meat and they want the meat. This can represent some baitfish. We'll trail two of them. Okay. Stag all. Yep. Up high again or no? So, Brad can torque on them, but I can't? Exactly right. Here's 45. Surf's up. There you go. Yeah, boy. Look at that purple on it. That's so sick, dude. That purple hue. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. Grab him, grab him, grab him, yeah. There you go. What's going on here, Chiefs? What do you got going on here? We're locked up. All around this one? Long way. He's got to get me on the long line. All right, I get it. I've seen that. Close, dude. A little bigger than mine. Nice. That purple on top, man. That's clean. I knew it! I had seven. Yeah, dude. That was way better than I thought. Any of them full of bait? Shooting and tracking, yeah. Makes you wonder how long they've just been up here, you know? Uh-huh. All right, guys. Just thought I'd wrap the video up really quickly. We ended up going like five for twelve in the span of like three hours. That's pretty freaking solid. I was not expecting the fishing to be that good. I ended up meeting Brad, who is a freaking beast. Brad, you're the man, dude. I'm sure we'll fish again someday. Obviously, a huge shout-out to Captain Ryan for letting me crash in his boat last night and obviously taking me out fishing. I've been fishing with this dude for several years. Even since I was a kid, my dad and I were booking charters with him, and he ended up becoming a buddy, and he's a super fishy dude. Every single time we go out, we end up catching some fish. I'm sure you guys will see him again in the future, but if you guys ever want to book a trip with him, I'll be putting all his information, all his pages and stuff below. The fishing's pretty hot right now. I'd imagine it should be pretty good a little bit after I drop this video and then throughout the summer, too. Hope you guys enjoyed the video.
