NEW 2023 Mercedes AMG EQE 53 | BRUTAL Drive Review Exterior Interior

I did 0 to 100 kilometers an hour in just 3.55 seconds in a distance of just 50 meters. That's amazing. Hello guys welcome to MerzBenz King. In front of me I have a new AMG beast the EQE 53 AMG 4MATIC+. And you can already hear from the sound when locking that this is an electrified AMG. So I will unlock it and in today's video I will show you the full driving characteristics. I've got the key right here. The new design of Mercedes AMG with its key is astonishing with a glossy black and metal design and AMG integrated inside also on the cover. So this is a true beast. It has a staggering 687 horsepower from 0 to 100 kilometers an hour in just 3.3 seconds. And I will also show you the launch control. And from that perspective the color looks amazing. This EQE AMG has a design of magna gray exterior color. Beautiful details. So furthermore it is also fully optioned. It has the digital lights, the rear axle steering in 3.6 degrees plus the new multi-spoke AMG rams. These are fully aerodynamically optimized. Furthermore it also has the Night 2 package. That means extra blacked out parts. You can see it from the contours around the window, the mirror caps, but even in the front a lot of blacked out details. The Panamericana grille and of course the bumpers. I really love the design with the circles. And of course this is not the EQS. It really looks like it, but it is a smaller size. Some beautiful planes in the air, but here you can see the new beautiful AMG rams. 21 inch special for the AMG 53. And it has also a matte color. I really love the aerodynamically optimized look because the air flows through the bumpers with this huge gap into the wheels. And it really saves air resistance. And you can only get the ceramic brakes with these aerodynamically optimized rims if you go for the 21 inch. And here you can also see beautiful matte color. Furthermore a 4matic plus emblem on the side with an EQE in chrome at the window. This is the raindrop design. It makes it very aerodynamically efficient and from the interior you have a great visibility on the corners because of the huge gaps. So let's go further into the rear and there you can notice a huge spoiler. But I will move to the other side because the ledgering is still in chrome. And this is in the body color in the magno gray. Furthermore it doesn't have any exhaust pipes of course, but it does have the diffusers which are more focused on the sides so that you don't miss anything. So guys we are now sitting inside the EQE 53 and you can already see a beautiful red seat belt. And I will just put it into drive and we are ready to go. But before I actually drive I want to press the dynamic select which is now to sport plus. But on the left side there is an extra button and you can configure this button by pressing settings select. And if you do that I will just adjust for the shadow. If you go to the settings select so you can go to the pencil over here and press the plus and there you have for example 3d view. But you can also add the telemetry. So I go back I just confirm by hitting the back button and now if I press here you will eventually find 3d. So now I confirm 3d and here the camera is active. On the left of us you can see the trees for wine and there you can see the rear axle steering. The rear axle steering is 3.6 degrees so it is really perfect for agile driving, cornering and also driving in the city because it helps reduce the turning radius. So let me deactivate the screen and go to the second one the telemetry. I activate it and there you have some more information which can be used on the track usually. So you can see the percentage of brake pedal, the power and torque. So I already mentioned it has 687 horsepower with a staggering more than a thousand and two hundred newton meters of torque. We will take a right turn on our way to the autobahn, the highway. Let's get past this cyclist. And let's go. In front of me I have the head-up display activated with the augmented reality and there you can beautifully see the road that you're heading to. So let's take a left turn out of the farm area and we are driving in sport plus but you can also change the sound experience by hitting the home button settings and then it says at vehicle drive or sound experience. You have the performance and the authentic but we will start the performance one and let's go. Extremely fast as I mentioned from zero to 100 kilometers an hour in just 3.2 seconds. But personally I really like the authentic deeper sound. Also when recuperating you hear this feedback. And talking about the recuperation it automatically sees with the cameras in front of you whether you're approaching a roundabout or a curve so the car will slow down by itself. Not with the brake but with the recuperation, the charging of the energy. So if I release the gas pedal you feel it floats a little bit because the car is driving away. If I'm getting closer and the car notices it, it will brake by itself with the recuperation. I don't use the brake at all and this of course also adds to the safety level. So let's get back to the navigation view and of course this is a full hyper screen. One meters and 41 centimeters in total. Massive screen the same size as the EQS but we of course know that the EQE is a little bit more compact smaller than the EQS which might be very interesting for people driving often in the city or combined with the Autobahn. You can also totally turn off the sound but let's focus more on the driving. I can feel it is very sharp with the steering wheel. Not too sharp but great feedback. I really like the carbon fiber glossy on the center console. If you open it you have two cup holders with a wireless charging pad for your phone and of course underneath here a lot of free space because you don't have any combustion tunnels. And in terms of sound isolation it is great. I'm driving 110 kilometers an hour and you hear almost nothing from the road or from other cars and that's also because it has an optional acoustic glass so double glass window.
