Things Aren't Looking Good For Curry and Durant

And look, I didn't think I would need to make this video until I saw everyone trying
to make this an issue. Apparently Steph Curry took shots at Kevin
Durant because he said the Celtics shouldn't trade a pivotal piece like Jalen Brown.
So what, Curry is supposed to say that the Celtics should trade Jalen Brown? Why?
And keep in mind that this conversation was with Snoop Dogg and so man was probably on
And before he even talked about KD's trade request, he was asked if he'd want to play
with them again. And you know what Curry said? Hell yeah. If y'all wanna break down word
for word what he said about the trade request, but not break down his positive response to
the trade request, y'all trippin. He didn't say yeah, he said hell yeah. A universally
overwhelmingly positive gesture that signifies, yeah we're not breaking down that phrase,
Curry was asked if he'd want the two rings with KD or the ring he just won. He replied
with give me this one, all day, every day. Again, this question and answer isn't a slight
against KD. Do y'all remember what the media was saying for the past 3 seasons?
How many titles do you see Steph Curry winning over the next 4 years?
I don't see the Golden State Warriors bringing home another championship.
All the Warriors core have said that this ring means the most. And we all know certain rings
mean more. LeBron's one ring in Cleveland means more than the two in Miami. Ask LeBron.
So his answer is not saying that oh the rings with KD are meaningless, it's just that this
one ring means so much more because he proved everyone wrong. The Nets Warriors game last season
was ABC's top Saturday primetime game in the past 3 years. It's clear that this is a lucrative
little matchup. Media thrives on drama. I'm no stranger to that either, but we don't need to
create something that's not there. But what is there is gonna make some of you mad. What is up
Steph and Curry and Kevin Durant do not hate each other, but both Curry and KD
are no strangers to the media's spinning narratives. This is what Steph actually said.
The idea of playing with KD and knowing who he is as a person from our history in those 3 years,
I think KD's a really good dude. I think he has had certain things happen in his life
that hurt his ability to trust people around him, in a sense of making him feel safe at all times.
So all of those things, I understand. Having played with him and gotten to know him,
I love that dude. Yeah, that definitely sounds like Curry exposing Durant and roasting him
as a player. But are y'all trying to hate on me? Cause 40% of y'all ain't even subscribed.
If you're liking the content, please subscribe. While yes, Steph did say, man he thinks that
they're gonna go teams like if he went to Phoenix, that they're gonna be the same team if he's there,
and agreed with Snoop that KD should stay with the Nets. He also said that he was never hesitant
for KD joining the Warriors, but at the same time, was aware that it would require a lot of pieces,
so he took a step back and was good with any decision the Warriors organization made.
Is this not the right answer? Because if he only says yes for KD joining the Warriors,
that means he's saying yes to trading the current roster. He ain't le GM.
He's trying to also keep his current teammates happy and show trust. And if he says no I don't
want KD outright, that's also gonna be taken as an insult. To maybe hammer in this point,
we've seen Durant have a feud with another star point guard. Yeah, for a while both would avoid
each other and take shots at each other in the media. That's beef on court and off it.
Remember when KD was listing the best players he's ever played with and forgot Russ?
I mean the most drama Curry and KD had while playing together was when Durant said no one
wants to play in underarmors. Curry outsold everyone in 2016 wearing underarm. I be hooping
in these KD. They're nice. But Steph didn't let that form a rift, he just brushed it off.
Durant may have had a problem with the Warriors with how the media alienated the
core Warriors group and KD. Maybe even with Steve Kerr who would yell at Durant for ISOing
but also rely on the ISO in the Rocket series. And oh yeah, Draymond. That was definitely a
problem. But never Steph. There was that one tweet KD liked in 2021 calling Curry
trash. But that might have been more to praise Durant's own legacy. But let's put it this way,
with how Dray and KD have hashed out the differences on KD's show Boardroom in 2021,
Steph ain't ever been mentioned like that. And again, this is what KD said about the Warriors
media. And almost every time a day of matchups since KD left, there's been hugs and laughs.
Even as the Nets washed the Warriors in opening day in 2019,
and when Curry recently made the Nets look like ballerinas.
Like I said, this matchup gets very high TV ratings so the media is gonna try and make this
the big attraction. And what sells? Rivalries. The idea that Durant and Curry have issues with
each other is the work of media trying to create drama. Rather they're trying to get
views and create narratives to have higher ratings. Now I'm trying to shut him up.
Negativity doesn't have to be the only thing. If you want a real rivalry, look at Giannis and
Harden. Heck, the Warriors and Grizzlies might become something. They are playing on Christmas
Day, right? Patrick Beverly and Russell Westbrook. Good luck to us Lakers fans. And if you want videos
on that, check out the end screen of this video for links for Giannis and Harden, Patrick Beverly
and Russ. But let's stop this KD-Curry rivalry. KD just wants to hoop on the good team and
why do you feed into the meme man? Curry is beating all the allegations. None of that is
directed at each other. Could there be a little friendly, oh I wanna be better than him rivalry
going on? Yes. Not the I hate you type of thing. Oh I hate you. So don't just look at the headlines
and believe something's going on because there's not. But what do you think? Who's better? Curry
or KD? Psyche, we all know who that is. Right? The ALLDAY notification bell goes to King J.
Thanks for the ALLDAY support. And if you're still here,
you'll really want to comment ALLDAY so I know. End screen about to show up with some
rivalry videos that will actually satisfy your drama needs so check em out. It's ya boi MJ. We
out!
