OUR EPIC SURPRISE FAMILY TRIP TO DISNEYLAND!! / How'd We Keep This Secret From Them for Two Months!?

I have a huge, huge surprise for everyone. Are you excited for Ty right there? All right, you guys, I have a huge, huge surprise for everyone. We are going on a trip. Kids don't have school on Monday. We planned this two months ago. We are going on a trip to Disneyland. I am so, so, so, so, so excited. Like, seriously, we've been planning this for two months in the works, and we're super grateful for Disneyland. They are giving us free tickets, and we told the kids, like, seriously two days ago that we thought we'd go to Texas, and they didn't have school on Monday. It just worked out perfectly that they didn't have school on Monday. So, I've gotta get everyone prepped, packed, ready, all the things. So, I'll show you how I do that all along the way. All right, so it is supposed to rain while we are there for two days. So, I'd rather be prepared and return these than not have them. So, I've got some ponchos, and then some little raincoats for the two younger girls, and then I got rain boots, and they light up. So, Livvy's super excited. She's trying hers on. Let's see. They fit? Turn around, let me see. They light up. They do light up. Turn around, let me see. Oh, yeah. They feel good? Do you wanna try them on? Yeah. Yeah? Come here. Here, try on your boots. Here's the pad. Oh, thank you. That's right, you're all set. So, we got, Stella looks like E.T. We got these cute little raincoats, and then they zip up. All done? Let me see you. You all ready for the rain? Okay, so hopefully we don't have to use them, but it says rain Tuesday and Wednesday. So, we got these, got these ones for Halle, ponchos for me and Marcos, Ty and Halle, and just got rain boots for the three littles. Hopefully, they work if we need them. Stay tuned. They fit good, Stella? Yeah. All right, you guys, started packing on my bed, getting the essentials set out. So, I'll kinda show you what we have so far. So, I have these shirts made that we're all gonna wear on Monday. The girls have cute matching leggings and bows, and then I went to the Disney store, and look at how cute these are, you guys. They're just some fleece zip-up. It's gonna be a little bit cold at night. $12. So, I got all the girls those matching ones for Monday. They'll be super cute, and then I got these at Kohl's. They were 50% off, so $7 each, plus I had a 30% off coupon. So, I got all of these outfits super cheap for the girls to match on Tuesday, and then we've got jackets for all of them Tuesday for the evening when it gets cool. It's also supposed to rain Tuesday, which I showed you guys. We got the rain boots and the rain gear right here, and then Wednesday, I'm super excited. We're gonna take the girls to the Bippity Boppity Boutique, so stay tuned. We've never done it before, but they get to dress up as their favorite princess. So, I know that Aurora is Libby's, and I got them a little crown and necklace and gloves, and Halle couldn't decide. It's kind of been drama, but we ended up going with Belle to got her this new dress. She's got the same thing, and then I didn't want them to wear their dress-up high heels, so I got these for Libby just at Target. I think they were like $10, and Halle has some gold ones just like this. Super excited about that. Stella's too young to do it, but she is obsessed with Minnie Mouse, so I got her this cute Minnie Mouse dress, and then I'm assuming they won't wanna be in them all day, so I got them these cute t-shirts that they could change into with some jeans. So, that one's for Halle, this one's for Libby, and then Stella will be in just Minnie all day. So, I thought those were super cute. I decided I wanted to join in on the fun, so I had a friend who made these, make this shirt for me literally last night. She did it super last minute, so I will be Cinderella for the day, and then I got this jacket for Ty. It's red and black fleece with Mickey, and then he's got a couple shirts, so we're all wearing that one. I've got this one for Tuesday for Ty, and I thought this one was way cool for Wednesday, so we're all doing the Mickey attire. I got Marcos' shirt as well, but it hasn't come yet. I just got it on Amazon for day three, and then day two, Marcos and I are just gonna wear whatever, so just had the kids kinda decked out. Okay, so Stella and Libby already had these Minnie Mouse PJs. Ty has some Mickey ones, so I just got this for Halle, so I'm gonna give it to them Sunday night when we surprise them. So excited for their reaction, so you guys stay tuned. That'll be the end of this vlog, so they'll all have their Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse PJs, and another thing I'm super excited about is I went to the Disney store, as you saw. I got some super good deals. Got them their own Disney gift cards with $30, so $10 a day that they can spend on whatever they want. If they wanna use it all on a souvenir, they can. If they wanna use it all on treats, they can. All right, all right, it is Saturday night. Didn't mean to rhyme, but we are getting ready to go. I've got all these snacks lined up right here. A bunch of fun snacks for the trip, but also for the drive. The kiddos are gathering some DVDs for the car, since it'll be a long drive, and we're just getting things ready, ready to leave tomorrow. Libby picked some movies. But I don't know where Cars 1 is. Well, go look upstairs. It's up there. All right, guys, kids are in bed, and I'm just packing up the last few things, so I'm gonna be extra prepared. I've got children's medicine, thermometer. I've got Band-Aids. We've got a whole bag of sanitizer. You know, coronavirus going around. We're gonna be sanitizing like crazy. Some sanitation wipes for phones. All the things in here. And then I've got some snacks, some healthy, some not healthy. We've got apples. Just one banana, because Stella ate the other one today. Gotta have some day quill, night quill. You just never know when you're gonna get sick. I love these fruit and veggie go-go squeezes. My kids love them, and it's a good way to get some fruits and veggies in there. Some club snack stacks, and then we get to some unhealthy stuff. So we've got some cookies, animal crackers, Teddy Grahams. I'm gonna take some mac and cheese to have maybe in the hotel for Stella or if the kids need some food if they haven't really eaten much during the day. And then in here I've got some Skinny Pop, some Boom Chicka Pop, all individual servings, some Pringle individual servings down there. Marcus' request, he always wants chili cheese Fritos. So all the road trip snacks, you guys, and all the things to get prepared. We are getting so much closer. All right, you guys, everyone is loaded up and it is time to go. Kids think we're going to Texas to visit my sister, which we're definitely gonna do that at some point, but not this trip. We are headed to L.A., baby! L.A. to go to Disneyland. We are so excited. None of the kids have ever been to Disneyland, except for Ty, obviously. If you haven't checked out that vlog, go check it out. I surprised him last year for his ninth birthday and we went to Disneyland. It was so much fun. So, Halle, Libby, Stella, first time ever. Super, super excited. So we're gonna head to L.A. right now. We'll probably just say, okay, we're gonna take a little break, look for a good ice cream shop. So they're all looking out the window and then we're gonna drive past Disneyland and I think Ty will recognize and be like, wait, that's Disneyland, blah, blah, blah. I don't know how it's gonna go, we'll see. And then we'll be like, we're not gonna go to Texas, we're gonna go to Disneyland. And they're just gonna be so excited. I hope, I hope the surprise hasn't been ruined. Marcos has let it slip a few times, not thinking. I don't think the kids have caught on, but I guess we'll see. So I'm just super excited to see their reaction, super excited for this experience. We're super grateful for Disneyland for giving us some tickets. On the third day, we have a hopper pass. We also have reserved seating for the parades. We've got the girls' Bippity Boppity Boutique. Marcos and Ty wanna go to Star Wars. Oh man, I can't wait for that. It's gonna be like an adventure for a couple hours, I feel like. So we'll see how it all turns out. Hopefully all the kids are happy, have good attitudes, and are just having a good time. It is supposed to rain Tuesday and Wednesday, like I said, so that could be interesting. But we've prepped them, we've said, we're gonna have good attitudes, we're gonna be flexible, we're gonna go with the flow, and we'll see what happens. You think they know anything about this? If they do, it's your fault. You're right. I told them. You slipped up several times. Even just barely, he's like, oh, the hotel will have one, and we're supposed to be staying with my sister, so. I think. Hallie was like, wait, we're staying in a hotel? Yeah, how'd you cover that up? I just said, just in case we do. And she was like, okay, that's all. Yeah, I mean, she's seven, whatever. Anyway, okay guys, we're headed on the drive, we're taking you along with us. It's about four hours from Vegas. A little more. Depending on traffic and what, so we're just gonna go enjoy the hotel, check in, get an early night's sleep. I don't know, just take you along with us. So here we go! Here we go! All right, we're just about ready to go. We're mixing up some of the seat assignments. Ty's never in the front. The middle. It's been a while since I've been in the middle. It's been a while. We got Stella. Snack! Snack, yep. We got Hallie and Livvy. Already got her blanket out, pillow, and stuffed animal. Wow, are you buckled? Can you put this out? You need to stay buckled the whole time. You got your Hydro Flask. We've got snacks, books over there for Stella, Hydro Flask, wipes, paper towel for the drive, DVDs up there. I think we're ready. Bucket seats. What? It's nice leather. Could be worse. I've just been catching up actually on my Instagram. Just posting pictures from Ty's birthday and just kind of what we've been up to on my personal Instagram. Just feeling good to get caught up with that. I've been going through my pictures, kind of organizing that, so making good time though. Time for a bathroom break. Who needs to go to the bathroom? Daddy. Can I go first? Sure. I actually need to go now. Okay. If you need to go, go now because we're not stopping for another three hours. All right, guys. How far away are we, driver? We're about an hour away. Two wrecks. I said wreck. Forty-eight. We're seriously two hours worth of traffic because of wrecks, but we never actually saw the wrecks, right? No. No wrecks. It was the weirdest thing. Forty-eight minutes and then we're going to take a stopping point and eat dinner. Posted on how it's going. It's been a long time. Slow motion. I think we should have been at the stopping point minutes ago and we still have an hour or we have about an hour left. Forty-eight minutes left. Stella's been pretty good. She's playing with her tea set back there. Girls are talking, coloring. I don't know. Ty's watching Moana. Happy, happy, huh? Happy, happy. Happy. Gotta be happy. In case you were wondering, we left the house at 12.45. It's 5.46. We've got one stop for the bathroom, which I feel like we did pretty good. So hopefully we're there by 6.30. That's still like six and a half hours in the car when it should have been. Do your math correctly. Is that an hour? Five and a half? Six hours. Whatever. If we get there at 6.30, it's just about six hours that we've been. Yeah. Since we left. Getting there, guys. Are you eating it? Yeah! We're gonna stop and eat. If we can find a park nearby, we'll get out for a little bit, stretch your legs. Maybe. So, maybe. If we can find one. But we're gonna get out and eat. All of us. Okay? Go sit down and eat somewhere. There's some paper. Why are these, um... Disney? Huh? Disney. Huh? Wait. Why are there so many people here, man? Disney. No, we're looking for... That looks like Guardians of the Galaxy. I just saw Incredico shirt. No. Yeah. Look. California. It's Texas. Yep. It's Disneyland. Oh, there's an IOP. It's Disney. No. What? Disneyland. I don't see Disneyland. Right there. It says Disneyland Resort. Oh my heck. There's a Disneyland in Texas? Or you just tricked us. Whoa. Wait. What's the resort though? It's just you get to like a tour in Disneyland. Keep going. So they gave us free tickets for the third day. So we bought two days and they gave us free tickets. Isn't that so nice? Yeah, it's pretty cool. Last Friday was my birthday and last year I went here. So that's special. We're in California. We're not going to Texas. We're going to go check in at our hotel and then we really will go eat. Okay? Are we going to the hotel right now? Yes. Let's make sure we give her a big thank you because she organized this all by herself. I helped just a little bit. She did most of it, okay? Okay. So make sure we have good attitudes. She's heard so much about it from friends and whatnot, and it's finally her turn to go. It's a fun excitement. Now I don't have to worry about spoiling it. Don't have to worry about Marcos blowing it. Kids clearly have been in the car too long. Let's go check out our room! There's bunk beds! There's bunk beds? This is where Mom and Dad will sleep. There's the bathroom. I call top. All right, so bunk beds. Look Libby, this one's for you. Look, this pulls out. There's triple beds? It's a triple! Triple bunk beds. Halle! Halle, there's triple bunk beds! So you can be on this one, Halle can be right there, Ty right there. Yay! Okay! Wow! There's some triples! There's triples! I'm just trying to pull it out. We have bunk beds! We have one of these! Wow, triples! This is a sink. Oh, I'm glad that it's separate from the toilet and the shower. That means people can shower while other people can get ready. I love that. So then you walk in here, and this is where Stella will sleep. That's a sofa bed, but we'll probably just put the pack and play right here somewhere. Got a TV. We even have like a little kitchen area. So we did bring some stuff to put in the fridge, microwave to have like mac and cheese or something for Stella tonight. Super nice, guys. Super nice. So, Homewood Sweets Convention Center. It's about three miles from the park. So it's about a 20 minute walk, but there's a free shuttle just right next door in the Toy Story parking lot, they said. And so we don't even have to pay for a shuttle, and it's super easy, and it comes every 5 to 10 minutes. Happy with this. That was part of the big debate when we were booking this. Marcos and I did tons of research, looked into a ton of stuff, tried to figure out the best hotel. We get free breakfast. There's also free dinner, Monday through Thursday, 5 to 7. So we might take advantage of that. I don't know. We've never done this before. This is our kids' first trip to Disneyland, so I don't know if we'll come back, eat a free dinner, and then go back to the park late at night. I don't know. We'll see. You guys excited? Yeah! Can you guys see Disneyland? Yeah! Alright, we're here at CPK, getting some pizza for the kiddos. What'd you end up getting? Pizza? Yeah. Spicy Chole. I got a salad, so we're just waiting on the food so we can hurry and eat. What are you guys most excited for tomorrow? I don't know. You don't even know, huh? A roller coaster! Do you know that you get to meet Aurora? Yes! I want to wear her dress. You want to meet her? Yeah. And you get to meet Belle, and Ariel, and Rapunzel. Well, I don't know if you're going to meet them, but you're going to see them all, hopefully. And Elsa, and Anna. All the princesses are at Disneyland. Moana, Jasmine. No. I don't know if you're tall enough. We'll have to see. We will see. The most thing I'm excited for is the new Space Mountain. They made a new one. Like, it has more upgrades and stuff. And it was closed last time we came, right? Yeah. I wanted to go. And Indiana Jones. Yeah. I'm just excited to see their reactions to all the little cutie pies. The food. And I've never been up.
