She came up, blood was going everywhere.
Are you okay Liv?
I said can you catch her and he said no.
Baby what you say?
We can leave today.
Anywhere we'll go, we'll be alright.
It's all about you.
Is that what I do?
Working out Liv?
Yeah.
So these kids think they need to work out after I work out.
What's up there?
Just don't break my equipment.
Okay.
You got the weights going man?
Yeah.
Build that muscle.
Livi's just singing her own song.
Okay Liv you done?
No.
When I go on that can I watch a show?
Yep this is my little workout room.
I'm starting back on the wagon of working out every day.
And this is what I get.
Careful.
Pretty good.
She's on 6.1 speed.
That's pretty good.
Okay who wants to go swimming?
Me!
Let's get ready to go.
Alright we are locked and loaded and ready to go.
Yeah!
We were filming on a GoPro earlier because our camera broke and our new one just arrived.
Oh Stella are you okay?
I'm fine.
Okay so we are headed to go swimming at a rec center pool close to us.
And we're taking you along with us.
Are you guys ready to go?
Yeah!
We ready?
Yeah.
But there's less people in the pool.
Yeah a lot less people.
We had to make a reservation so that we could keep our social distancing.
So let's go find a spot.
Okay we're getting all set to go.
Puddle jumpers are on.
Ready Liv?
Yeah!
Let's go!
Okay see ya!
Let's go!
Go Liv!
Was that fun?
Yeah!
Do you want to hold the camera and go down?
Yeah!
Okay go Liv!
Yeah!
Going down the slide?
Yeah.
Okay I'm going to hand this to Libby.
Okay be patient as you go down.
Okay.
Go Liv!
Okay!
Hold it this way okay?
Okay.
She won't go!
Go Liv.
Okay.
Bye!
Here I come!
Here she comes!
Woohoo!
Alright there goes Ty.
You're fine!
Come here!
You silly silly.
Ty who's going next?
Go Halle!
Mommy!
Okay that must be a new rule.
Because they did it last year.
Alright so that is a new rule.
Usually they help her just go to the side.
She's really close to swimming but I guess she's trying to go.
So that's awesome.
You ready to see Livy?
Say go Livy!
Here she comes.
Here's Ty.
He's not going to be able to make it to the side so hopefully this one will step in.
This will be a one and done.
Okay.
Okay Halle's going on the slide.
She's taking you along with her.
Here I go!
Here I am!
This is my favorite slide!
My turn to go next!
Okay you guys so now I'm going on the slide.
And I'm going to show you how it's done.
Woo!
How old is she?
She is four.
Can I get your phone number?
I'll be cold for a second.
So I don't know.
Are you okay?
Barely so I don't know what happened.
There's so many people watching you.
No you need to open your eyes when you're swimming.
Okay?
You went right into it with your eyes closed.
Goggles okay?
Do you want to do any more slides?
Yeah let me get you guys a towel.
Do you want to stay?
Don't drag it anymore okay?
Is that okay?
Take care of it I promise.
You're okay.
Did you guys wash your hands?
Okay we're going to go.
Okay I'm done.
Liv you ready to go?
Yeah.
Okay we're going to go home so gather all your stuff.
Okay?
Should we come back later this week?
No.
No I want to stay here for a little.
No your nose is still bleeding.
This?
I think it's time to go.
So gather all your stuff.
Do you need a snack Liv?
Do you want to finish your sandwich?
So she's swimming under this with Ty and Halle.
And she comes up and dives right into it.
Smack dab right in the middle of that hard hole.
I saw the whole thing.
I ran over to her but I had Stella.
I screamed Ty's name.
He acted like he couldn't hear me.
I didn't hear you.
And it was just a nightmare.
Thankfully the lifeguards just stepped in and you saw some of it.
Ty went and grabbed the camera so you guys could see it.
But I'm done.
As a mom I'm done.
I'm done being here with four kids.
So we're going to go.
So gather all your stuff.
You can still see her nose.
It's probably going to be bruised.
Does that hurt?
Yeah.
Since she got hurt I'm going to do like what she said.
Like if she wants to do this or if she wants to do that I'll do it.
That's really nice.
Alright guys so it is about six hours later.
Five hours later.
Something like that.
And it's bedtime so we're just getting ready for bed.
Alright fast forward and it is the night time.
Libby how you feeling?
Good.
How good?
I feel the best good.
The best good?
Yeah.
Nose seems okay?
Brushing her teeth to get ready for bed huh?
It seems good.
Alright.
We've had no problems since.
Huh?
Mhmm.
She's good as new.
Stella's getting ready for bed.
So in case you guys were wondering an update on her hair.
We bought this cute little hat that she doesn't really love but it's just so cute.
We try to tell her how cute it is.
It's so cute honey.
You want to kiss it?
Do you want to read a book?
Yeah.
Yeah?
Okay we'll read one book and then it's time to go night night okay?
Your hat is so cute.
You want to pick a book?
Which book do you want?
See so she'll suck her thumb.
She'll hold the blanket and she'll try to pull but we put that on her.
She leaves it on most of the night right?
Yeah I think it's in the mornings where she does it off.
She rips it off.
We've been telling her how cute it is.
You want to read a book?
Okay here you go.
One book and then it's time to go night night.
Okay?
Okay.
Hey honey.
Strawberry.
I like your hat.
It's so cute.
Strawberries.
Look how cute.
Cute.
So cute.
Just keep telling her how cute it is and she'll hopefully keep it on.
So that's the update with Stella.
Huh?
Say night night.
Strawberry.
Strawberries.
Lots of strawberries in this book huh?
So as you could probably tell when we were swimming I was just so done.
Like the lifeguard thing, not helping Libby and then her just banging right into that pole.
Like you guys I saw the whole thing.
Like if this was the pole she went like dead on into it.
So I'm surprised she's not more hurt.
But she seemed totally fine within five minutes of it happening.
She's a pretty tough girl so.
Anyway we left after that.
Pretty shortly after that like I was just done.
Like I don't know how much more I could take.
Stella needed a nap.
It wasn't one of our best outings as a family to go swimming.
But we got through it.
We came home.
We had some quiet time.
We rejuvenated.
Got some Cafe Rio for dinner.
And now it's bedtime.
The best time of the day.
So we're going to close out the vlog.
I'll let Libby close it out because she is getting into her bed right now.
Okay Liv.
Getting ready for bed?
What's this headband that you have?
A flower.
Do you sleep in it?
No.
Okay.
Let's just clean up our room a little bit.
Right?
Getting ready for bed.
Her bedding is from Beddy's you guys.
And it's awesome because it just zips right up.
That's how she makes her bed and unzips it.
It does have this minky blanket inside.
Do you love your Beddy's?
Yeah.
Yes.
I'll count how many animals I have.
Okay.
Holly has the same one.
Super cute.
Best part is they can make their beds in the morning.

So you feeling okay?
Yeah.
Let me see your nose.
Come here.
How's your nose?
Good.
I don't see anything wrong with it.
Doesn't even really seem bruised or swollen.
Does that hurt?
You'll see blood.
No.
The blood is gone.
Let me see.
Does that hurt?
No.
Does this side hurt?
No.
What about right here?
No.
No?
Okay.
You good?
Yeah.
She's one tough cookie, huh?
Yeah.
Cookie.
Do you want to close out the vlog?
Yeah, but first I need to count you out.
Okay.
Just show us your favorite stuffed animal.
This is...
And where did you get that?
From Disneyland.
Disneyland.
If you guys haven't checked out that vlog, go check it out.
Surprise the kids with the trip to Disneyland.
I know this is the mean bear from Toy Story, but she didn't care, huh?
You just like it because it's pink.
And it's super soft and it smelled like watermelon.
No, it smells like strawberry.
Oh, you're right.
Strawberry.
My bad.
Okay.
You ready to close out the vlog?
Thanks for watching.
Ring the bell.
Give us a subscribe.
Bye.
Give us a big thumbs up.
Yeah.
Give this video a big thumbs up for Libby being tough and getting through this rough
day and give us two more thumbs up for mom surviving through this day.
Thanks so much, guys.
We'll see you next time.
Bye.
Good night.
Hey, guys.
It is actually the next day and I was just kind of replaying what happened yesterday
and I'm like, I don't even know if I actually explained without a bunch of background noise
what actually happened.
So the last clip, which I'll insert right here, we were, I was sitting on the ground
with Stella right by the slide and to the left you saw that like they called it a mushroom
where water came out from over and you could stand inside.
The kids were playing.
They were playing some sort of tag or Ty was dragging their feet or something.
Ty wasn't doing it at the time, but I'm just watching them like a hawk because I'm kind
of like that around water, especially one to four.
Like, I'm just always having an eye, even though Ty and Hallie are great swimmers.
I like to have an eye on them at all times.
So Stella sitting next to me, Ty, Hallie, Livi are under this thing just playing and
kind of playing tag or something.
Livi comes up from the water close and her eyes are closed and she doesn't even look
and just lunges right forward into that big pole in the center of like the umbrella or
the mushroom, whatever you want to call it.
I saw the whole thing happen.
I was sitting right there with Stella.
So she hit the pole, went underwater and I was already standing up walking towards her
and I'm just like, Oh, just watching it.
Like it's almost too bad that I wasn't just vlogging them play just so you guys could
see because if I hadn't seen it, I don't think I would have believed it.
And she just smack dab in the middle.
You guys like there was no way she was going to miss that pole.
Hit it right in the middle.
She came up.
Blood was going everywhere.
I mean, her whole bottom part of her face was filled with blood, her neck, her swimsuit.
Anyway, so obviously I was kind of in panic mode because again, I'm there by myself with
four kids.
I don't.
Well, I do.
I do go out quite a bit with just me and the four kids.
They're pretty good, but sometimes it can get tricky like this time.
So I'm yelling at Ty, Ty, Ty, like trying to get his attention.
He apparently couldn't hear me even though he wasn't that far from me.
And then suddenly Hallie looks up and sees us walking away.
So I've got Stella on my hip.
Libby, I'm trying to hold her hand.
I'm with a lifeguard who's like, here, I'll help you come with me.
We go to the lifeguard area.
Ty and Hallie join us because I did not want them in the pool while I wasn't watching them,
even though they're good swimmers.
So they're kind of in shock.
Like what happened?
They didn't even notice.
They didn't see or anything.
All of a sudden Ty shows up with the camera and he got what he got.
So I wasn't really paying attention because I was just making sure Libby was okay.
I turned around, next thing I know he had the camera.
So Libby is totally fine, you guys.
Of all my kids, she is definitely the toughest.
She actually wanted to stay, but me as a mom was so done.
And the whole lifeguard thing was kind of a joke because last year Hallie was able to go down.
She wasn't the strongest swimmer, but she could do it.
It was more of a confidence thing.
And so if they handed her that red thing, she just felt better.
So Libby, she can't swim like officially, but I've been practicing with her in my brother-in-law's pool.
And she's been doing pretty good.
And we actually go to swimming lessons on Monday.
So stay tuned for those vlogs.
I'll try to get little snippets of her, but she's really, really close.
And so I figured she could do it.
She was so excited to go up on the slide.
And I just felt like the lifeguards were kind of being jerks about it.
Like I was to the point where I'm like, do I need to jump in there?
Do I need to save her?
Because she might just go down.
And I said, can you catch her?
And he said, no.
And I'm like, what?
And he's like, if she's not a strong swimmer, she shouldn't be going down.
But that's just a totally new rule than it was in years past.
Okay, that must be a new rule.
They did it last year.
Anyway, guys, just thought I'd hop on here real quick and kind of give you a little bit more details.
Because I'm not sure I did that.
I was honestly like kind of shocked and kind of just like embarrassed because it was quite the scene.
And, you know, people are pretty judgy out there.
And they look at you and they're like, oh, my gosh, you have four kids.
I get that comment all the time going to the stores.
Like, these are all yours?
And when I was pregnant with Stella, I got lots of comments like, wow, how is this?
Well, a lot of people would be like, is this your first baby?
I'd be like, number four.
And they're like, whoa.
Like they just cannot believe it.
It was nothing that I wasn't there for.
Nothing that I could have stopped or prevented.
I was right there with her.
It could have happened whether Marcus was right there with me or not.
Just one of those fluke things where she just came up and boom.
Like literally right into the pole.
So anyway, guys, thanks for watching.
Hopefully this all made sense.
We still had a good time.
It was still a good day.
But just I was emotionally, mentally, physically exhausted.
We came home.
Kids watched a movie.
Mom had a little alone time for a little bit.
And we recovered.
And as you saw, Libby is totally fine.
Thanks again, guys, for watching.
Don't forget to subscribe.
Give us a thumbs up for Libby being strong and not having a broken nose or anything.
And we'll see you guys next time.
