Angada, are you excited?
This watermelon is so heavy.
It's gotta be more than twice what Angada weighs.
This is his birthday cake.
It's not there yet, but I did find the heaviest watermelon
and you see there's a little bit of yellow there.
Supposedly those are the two best signs
that this is gonna be the best watermelon ever.
So stay tuned and see how I make this
into his birthday cake.
So this is the base of the cake.
This is like, I don't know, the cake batter,
I guess, so we gotta get the rind off of it.
Oh, what do you think about that?
Wanna play with that?
Did you come up to help, Angada?
I'm gonna go stir some blueberries.
This would also be a good birthday cake for the elephant.
She loves watermelon.
Angada, what'd you get?
Did you get anything good?
So this is actually what I use to clean everything.
I clean my fruits and vegetables with it.
I clean my countertops with it.
I clean my bathroom with it.
I clean my doorknobs with it.
It's delicious.
If you wanna know what this is and why it works,
comment down below and I'll give you the recipe.
That's a lot of work, huh?
He says, I'm busy eating good stuff over here.
Okay.
Where you going, Angada?
Did you find a cool plant?
Trying to make your birthday cake here.
I don't know, white's not that bad,
but we'll get rid of it.
I got a piece of watermelon for you.
So chimpanzees in the wild actually eat a wide variety
of fruits, leaves, bark, bugs,
like 80 different things they'll eat in the wild.
And they will occasionally eat meat,
but it's very, very rare.
90%, 99% of the time,
they're just eating fruits and vegetables,
leaves, barks, bugs, nuts, seeds.
So that's why we're making them this kind of cake.
I got Nicky B helping me today.
You guys met him in the Undertaker video.
So right here?
Yep.
How's that look?
Good?
Comment down below, how am I doing so far?
I am very excited about this.
What do you think, Angada?
How good did I do so far?
You wanna try some of it?
That is a good watermelon.
Did I pick good?
Did I do a good job?
I guess so.
It's not even done yet.
It's kind of exciting, huh?
That's easier to bite.
Okay, so I'm kind of scared,
but we have all of this extra,
so I'm gonna go for a second layer on this cake.
What do you think, Angada?
You think that'll work?
And this maybe needs to be a little evened out too.
Okay.
I think that might've worked.
What do you think?
Okay.
You got a blueberry!
Did you steal a blueberry?
You good boy?
Okay, so the banana is gonna work
kind of like a frosting on the bottom.
Do not be afraid of a banana with spots in it.
It's actually sweeter and better for you.
Oh, spilled blueberries!
Good job!
You spilled them all, buddy!
Now what?
Don't dance in them, okay?
Does that look good from there?
All right, I'm new to this, so we'll see how it turns out.
We got all of Angada's help, so that's nice.
He says, I'm eating that watermelon now.
That watermelon's really good.
Comment down below,
would you eat this as your birthday cake?
Let me know.
So I have seen a few comments
where people are worried that Angada's not eating.
He's been eating the whole time.
He's a really big boy.
In my experience, the great apes gain about 10 pounds a year.
He's already at 16 and a half pounds.
He's gonna be a big boy,
because he knows how to eat.
He's a good eater, huh?
You good boy?
Which is your favorite in here?
Do you like the blueberries or the watermelon better?
What do you think?
Blueberry, watermelon?
Blueberries, too.
Oh, I'm growing blueberries in my garden right now.
I hope we get some before all the cardinals steal it.
All right.
So now I'm cutting out some little shapes.
I went with shark, because I'm obsessed with sharks.
The palm tree, because we live in Myrtle Beach.
I've just sliced up some little apples.
So we're gonna make these funny little shapes
out of really thin apple.
This is kind of cute.
And then, of course, I did the elephant,
because he does have a big elephant friend
who lives here on the property with us.
If you guys haven't seen the video of him meeting Bubbles,
then go back and check it out.
So we'll just put these kind of along the outside, I guess.
And then it looks like it'll go good there.
Just make sure we find a good spot for them to sit.
Kind of epic.
See what else we can get.
Got a giraffe.
I don't know if it'll fit, though.
And a dog, but it also seems too big.
Here, want a piece of apple?
It's a pretty good, crispy apple.
All of these scraps will either go to another animal
or they'll go in the compost pile.
So I guess I'll put the shark here.
And we'll do this one.
So the top part keeps moving,
so I'm gonna try to secure it with some more toothpicks.
And I picked strawberries,
because they're already kind of in the shape of a heart,
and because he has two hearts on his face.
Banana is his favorite food right now, for sure.
I think it looks good.
Angana, there's your cake.
What, do you think it's missing something?
What is it missing?
I think this pineapple might be good.
Maybe the top of it.
Like crown on top?
Yeah, the crown.
Yes, that's a good idea.
Let's do it.
Okay, are you ready for this?
You ready, Angana?
Got it just right.
I think that actually will work.
That's a really good idea.
We'll secure it in place.
Oh yeah.
Are you helping, Angana?
That is cute.
That turned out better than I thought.
Do you like it?
