Trying Indonesian Seafood at Wiro Sableng 212 Kelapa Gading - Jakarta

Hello everyone and Selamat Malam. This evening we are walking around Kelapa Garing area which is located in Jakarta. We are still in Jakarta. We're still enjoying ourselves here and I got the tip to have food at Biro Sableng. You cannot see it but this is the restaurant right behind me and apparently here they have the biggest seafood fest you can imagine. It looks absolutely amazing. They're preparing fish right now and we are going to walk in and see what this night is going to bring. And obviously I'm not here by myself. I have my lovely friend Nikki who is traveling with me around Jakarta and we had so much fun and now we're gonna just eat a lot of fish right? We're gonna eat a lot of seafood. Are we ready? Gearing up to deep breath. Okay let's go in. I'm so excited and I'm hungry as well. I'm hungry too. Here we go. Let's do it. As I am walking up here you literally see the fish being grilled already and it looks amazing. The smell is a little bit less because it's very barbecue smelly. I love it. It's super fresh and it's really hot actually as well. We are inside now and I cannot believe how big this place is. It has two floors and in every floor they have so many tables. It's insane. We found a table. We're gonna find a table all the way at the end because it will be a little bit more quiet. But if you can see behind me there's like a lot of tables empty and then here it's a little bit more busy. And obviously we don't only have Nikki we also have Jill again. Food again. And we have Young as well. You like seafood Young? Oh I'm a big fan of seafood. Yeah I love it. And what about you? Yeah seafood is my favorite thing. Yes that's good. So the menu looks like this. I really like it. There's so much you can choose from. The prices are not listed because it goes I think by ounces or grams. By gram. It goes by gram. So you can just choose by gram how much you want. And I think we decided to go for these dishes. We decided to go for ikan kebakar. Then we chose to go for cumi telur bakar. Grilled squid. And prawn with padang sauce. Super interested for this one. And we actually got two nasi goreng seafood. So the first dish arrived already. It's udang cumi telur bakar. It's difficult to pronounce it. We're getting plates now because we're gonna share all. And it looks like this. I wish you guys could smell it because oh my god it looks so good. So we're now gonna try it for the first time and see how it tastes. Okay it's time for our first bite. Oh my god I can't even. I found this perfect texture. Perfect texture. I'm in heaven. It's not too like sometimes you have it chewing it forever. This is sauce. This sauce is pure heaven. This is the best squid, cumi, however we call it today. I had in my entire life. Like no joke. Look at the sauce. I love this. Oh my god. Wow. This is so amazing. The best squid I've ever ever had. And we were nervous. Like we were like oh no what do we order? What do we do? But like this is for me 20 out of 10. If I could give this 10 out of 10. Amazing. Wow this is too good to be true. If you come to Jakarta you need to come here and get the chubi because this is this sauce as well. Oh my god. Chubi heaven. Oh my god this makes me so happy. Yeah senang. Senang is happy. Happy. Okay so it's called chubi telur. What I didn't know and if you can see it there's egg inside here. So we have the outside is squid and then the inside is egg. I love it so so much. Best chubi ever. Next up is udang with padang sauce. Oh udang with padang sauce. I think this is gonna be so good. Look at the colors and it smells just. Wait to take my first bite. So I just take one shrimp. Peel the skin. You see it? Yeah we need to cut the head, peel the skin and then it's time to taste. So I don't like cutting so it's gonna be now. Let's see how we're gonna do this. Let's see. Dip it in a lot of sauce and then. Oh it looks juicy though. Oh my god. I didn't expect it to be this spicy. But now we're gonna order. I knew it's orange. Okay I like the flavor but I think it's just a little bit too spicy maybe. It's too spicy but can manage because it's such delicious taste. It's just the taste is amazing. This sauce wow. It should have that before. It is so nice. It's so good but it's so spicy. I would give this a nine. For me it's eight. Yeah shoot maybe eight. Yeah. Because this was just so amazing. The chumi was too good. Yeah the chumi was so good that like okay. Ten. Yes. Udang eight. The sauce is absolutely amazing. Yeah. It's just a little bit too spicy for me. That's why eight. Spicy. The spiciness kicks in later like always. Oh my god literally my eyes. Okay you guys. So we have water and now it's time to eat some um. Yeah we burn it. It's burning. Which one was this? Nasi goreng. So we have nasi goreng seafood and it looks like this. It smells so so nice and I think we really can use it now because our mouth is on fire because of the spicy. Yeah. I really need some rice. Yes. Wait ready? Oh my god. Your goodness. I can't taste because my mouth is on fire. Like I don't know. Same. I don't know if it's spicy to be honest. Okay guys hands down this is the best nasi goreng seafood I ever had. Yeah. I keep saying it but this is. I've had so many nasi gorengs in my time here in Indonesia but so many. These are the best. Wow. It's blaze. Blaze. Yes. Mind blowing. And the good thing is look how much. This only costs 30k. Yeah. 30k. Wow. And then for such a good nasi goreng like I love it so much. I don't feel a difference in spiciness to be honest. No same. They're both just as spicy but just as good. Like this is for me again 10 out of 10. The best nasi goreng I've ever had. I'm gonna give it a 9. Yeah same. I give it a 9 as well. Okay. I want to keep eating this. I know. But we got fish to try. I know but. I know it's so good though. I love it. I love it. So happy. Oh I forgot how much I missed rice. Jesus. I don't think I do like rice but this is like a different level. Yeah. My lips are still burning. My mouth is completely on fire. I didn't expect both the nasi gorengs and all the other dishes to be so spicy. But now we have last but not least this massive massive fish. How do you say it? Ikan kuih. Ikan kuih. Looks like this and it smells good though. I think it's the same sauce as them. Yes. Yeah. Looks good and hopefully it's not spicy because we just killed ourselves I feel like. I have no idea how to do it but I'm just gonna do something. Do something. Shall I get you a little? Oh wow. Thank you for serving me. You're welcome. I don't know if I served you the right part but I have no idea what I'm doing. Here we go. I think. Ikan cheers. Cheers. I think I'm ready as well. Very juicy actually. Oh it's so juicy. I'm just like. That's it. Every texture. Every texture is so good. I am speechless and I'm never speechless in my entire life. I always have things to say but this is so good to be honest. And we are glowing. It's soft but also the way that they've prepared it because it's so soft. I'm addicted. What do we rate this? I give it a 9.5. What do you rate it? 10. 10? 10 out of 10. Okay I think I'm a harsh critic. Okay well. I think I think the fish is a it's really good but compared to the like the chumi was number one. Chumi was 10 out of 10. This I would give an 8 because I like fish but it's it's still really good. Like an 8 is still good. Chumi was just amazing. Wow. No this is epic. Wow. What would you rate this? 10 out of 10. Oh I love it so much. Okay I'm gonna have one more final bite of the Ikan. It's just too good to be true I feel like. It's so nice. The flavor and just how it's cooked as well. We're enjoying ourselves way too much here. Living our best life. This is seafood heaven and I cannot recommend this more. Okay it's a big place. There's a lot of people in the place so it must be good but it's not like a super fancy restaurant. No. But it's fancier with a lot of people here as well. Top notch. Wow. It's because the show you can't judge a book by its cover. So many places in Java is like that. When the place is fancy the food is just okay but when the place like this or maybe like street food when you see from outside it's like ah. When you go inside to try the food the food is like boom. Yeah. Amazing. That is what we have right now because we walked in and we weren't really sure about are we gonna eat here. Like it looks okay but just this food blew my mind so much. It's literally one of the best seafood I've ever ever ever had. Okay we had the best day ever here in Jakarta and to end this day with this amazing food was just so so good.
