My Best Ice Fishing Trip Ever  ..!!

This is another use for your old pill bottles, you know. Keep your hook from getting snarled up. Oh boys, we can hardly take them off the hooks fast enough. Just one after the other. We're just fishing one hole here. Whoever gets the hook off fast gets to go down again. Oh my god, what action. I got to get another bit of bait here. You got no bait, you just cut a piece off the belly of the trout here. Oh, another one. Now my turn. Woohoo! And another one. That one was a bit small there, so the hook just falls on there. Oh, it's nipping to the fingers now. Oh, just like that. Now it's Drew's turn. Just look how beautiful this trout is, guys. Man, oh man. Oh, just like that. Oh, everything is still flicking here. I haven't even got mine off the hook and now he's got his up. He's got two of my ones. And another one, just like that. Oh, he's off. Now, try that again. Oh, just like that. That was a dark belly one there, though. See that? This one will go back in the water here now. Dark belly. Well, guys, we was here no more than a half hour I'll say, and this is what we got. So anyway, anyone want to try to guess what we're going to have for supper tonight? Oh, wow, it must be, what, 14, 15 inches? That's a dandy. Want to stew up there? Well, guys, we're really enjoying ourselves here. We just come over for the night and later on in the week we're going to come over with the family, you know, with the kids and stuff. Just come over and check out and see what the trail was like. Catch a few, tip back a few, you know what I mean? There's a little pork scrunching stuck on it, man. I tell you, that's tasty stuff right there. So anyway, we're really enjoying it. We got a few fish out of it. Lots of wolves sawing around. I wish we had a couple traps to set out, but we didn't and checked around for some seals and stuff, so we're really enjoying it. Couple of more drinks and then we're going to have a damn fine meal. Whoa, just look at that there. Oh man, that's something nice. Well, guys, we always fry our fish, no matter if it's trout, char, salmon, cod. We always fry a little bit of pork to make scrunchions and if you've never done it before, I certainly recommend it to anyone because it's tasty, I tell you that. Now, just look at that there. Anyway, I got more here to go in the pan, so we're not finished just yet. Son-in-law father-in-law. Son-in-law on the bunk.
