Morning, good afternoon, hello. Can you see me? Hello. We are leaving on our road trip! Say road trip!
We are going, we are starting a road trip. We are driving home to Rhode Island.
We have everything packed, dogs aborted and we are heading out. It is 11 30 now. We're gonna
grab some lunch. My glasses are so dirty. We're gonna grab some lunch and we are going to hit
the road. We're leaving around now because we want the kids to eat lunch and then take their
two-hour nap in the car, hopefully. And then we are going to head to Cadillac Ranch first
and then where our first major stop is going to be Nashville, Tennessee. We're going to try
to drive straight through the night. If we can, obviously, if we're tired, we're gonna stop.
But yeah, I'm super excited. We're driving across country. This should be interesting.
What are your thoughts on driving across the country with two kids?
Miserable. It should be fun. It should be enjoyable. Let's get going. You guys look miserable too.
They're tired.
All right, four hours in and this is where he brings us. You see the cars? That's mighty cool.
Ash, you want to paint it? Yeah, don't touch them boys. Okay, because yeah, like daddy said,
you don't know if it's wet. Wow, those are pretty cool. Oh my god, they're caked on though.
It's crazy. Don't touch.
Guys, back up over here. Over here because it's stinky. Do it lower. Look where the red is.
Let's go this way. Let's stand on this side so it doesn't blow on us.
Look, he's gonna write our name.
You see, it says our name. It says T-E-R.
We just went to Cadillac Ranch. What's your opinions on it or what's your thoughts on it?
It's cool. It's just a huge open what? Ranch? A huge open ranch and there's just like a bunch of
like old cars or old Cadillacs and everyone just spray-painted them and these people like actually
gave us their extra of their spray paint so we actually got to spray paint. It was kind of cool.
I mean, I wouldn't go out of my way. Yeah, I wouldn't go out of my way to go to it again
but I mean, at least we went, right? And now we've experienced it. I mean, it was cool.
I just thought it was gonna be like a little bit more than what it was but I mean, that's cool.
We're gonna get pizza now and pretty much start our night driving now. That should be fun.
What did you think about Cadillac Ranch? Was it cool? It was cool. What did you think?
You gotta go home. We have 30 more hours. Go home. No. Yeah. We have like literally like what,
28 hours? Yeah. This is gonna be a very interesting ride. Oh my god, I got like
burned from being out there. It's hot. We are in Tennessee. We are about like 45 minutes away
from Nashville but we need to swap yet again because I am getting a little sleepy. Me and
Karen have both only slept like about three hours all night. It's been interesting. We ended up
getting subway last night. I ended up having two coffees like from two different places. We've been
stopping at all like the Loves gas stations. Yeah. And I've been trying. The coffee's crap but
that's what you get at three in the morning or I think I got my first coffee at 12
and I got my second coffee at like three in the morning. The boys just woke up. Say good morning.
Say good morning. I don't know where the light went. Cameron just brought Landon into the
bathroom. We're gonna swap seats and then I'm like exhausted. This trip is exhausting and we're only
like halfway because we're gonna spend like the day in Nashville today. Um get a hotel and then
we go to Rhode Island tomorrow. So also my allergies have been kicking my ass this whole trip.
Um the allergies started before I left and I'm just like so congested. So that's been fun but
yeah just a little update for you guys. I think like the piece of paper that she should have
given you should have had it on there. It's my wallet. So we finally made it to a hotel. It's
9 26. Um we were able to have to check in and get a room way earlier so we are staying
at the Courtyard Marriott. It has a pool, a fire pit, all that jazz. So we are staying here
and then hopefully leaving by tonight like by like mid like some some at some point in the
night but we're gonna try to actually sleep. So a little room. Nothing crazy but we just have
a little sink. Um our bathroom and then we have our closet. So we have our bed. Say hi.
Cameron. The boys are gonna sleep on the pullout. That's it. You can actually see the pool from
right over here too. This is where we're staying tonight. They have a Starbucks. We just got the
some bagels to eat, some coffee, some good coffee because all I've had is um what is it?
Gas station coffee. So this actually tastes pretty decent. Now I gotta flip it open. We are going to
shower, get ready and then relax for a little bit right and then we're gonna go
explore downtown a little bit. You need a napkin? Never rent. Vacation is not a vacation when you
have kids. Good? Don't wipe it on the shirt babe. Let me get you a towel.
It is 11 o'clock. We took like a little mini nap and we are about to um get ready now. I'm gonna
just put on a little bit of makeup and we're gonna go out for an early lunch.
It's actually supposed to rain this afternoon and for like the next like 10 days here in Nashville.
So that's cool but it's all right. We're just going to get ready quick and then go out to eat.
Um and you know if we just stay home for the rest of the day, who cares?
We're tired so really whatever we do we'll be fine. Um but we definitely want to like at least
like go see everything before the rain comes in. So we'll see how this goes. Um the kids are all
dressed. Landon, show them your outfit. Landon's so handsome. Ash, you want to show your outfit?
So we're just getting ready right now and then we're gonna go eat and yeah. I think Karen said
something about barbecue food. Um I feel pretty good that I just took a little nap.
We're gonna go eat and I want to go swimming but if it rains I don't think we're gonna be
able to go swimming but whatever. I mean that's kind of like the point of this hotel. There's like
swimming and like the outdoor area but I didn't realize it's gonna rain. I think we're gonna
plan to leave like some to the night like maybe like 3 or something so we can
um start driving. If we drive straight to Boston from here it's like 18 hours but if we drive
to whatever I think it's like 17. Obviously it's only like a little different between the two of
them um but. Look at that. Holy crap. Nope. Can't do it. My anxiety. Holy ----. What is that?
What what are they doing? This is not kid-friendly. That's not kid-friendly.
What does he do? That's not kid-friendly. He's like oh my god. He was just lifting up his shirt.
Guy over there. I mean it's cool. A lot of these places must have like weights for you to like
actually be able to go in. This that's a mob scene. I guess like if you're like young no kids
right like just no kids like this is not a kid spot. Yeah this is all the time.
I mean it's Saturday. It's long weekend. It's yeah it's Labor Day weekend but holy crap I don't
like that. Do you see this? Good morning. Hello guys. I think I think the last time I updated it
was when we were at the hotel. We ended up taking a three-hour nap
and then we went out for lunch in downtown Nashville. We quickly realized we went to
Broadway. Broadway. Broadway Street. That is not the vibe. Not with kids. So we ate lunch.
We went home. Wait no. No we're at the hotel then we went out had lunch and then came back
and took a three-hour nap. Sorry. And then um it ended up like raining and I guess it's like
gonna rain for like the next 10 days in Nashville so couldn't go swimming or anything like that.
We were gonna go out for dinner but we're kind of like still full. Yes babe? Uh no babe.
Dangle lives in the city. There's no pools. I know. I know. We'll see. Um like we ended up
just grabbing KFC and bringing it back to the hotel and we ate, showered. I had a little quick
workout. We went to bed early. We were planning on leaving at like like three in the morning.
Originally 12 then three and then we actually didn't. Cameron didn't get up till 4 30.
4. And then we left by like 4 30 ish and we've been on the road and it's
8 30 now. Um now we're two hours ahead of New Mexico's time. Um but we've been on the road.
Oh so we've only been on the road for an hour? No. I'm confused. Oh no yeah we've been on the
road for a couple hours. Uh it's probably not gonna come out yet buddy. But we're gonna stop
soon. Um. And we can and we can turn your car so you two okay? But yeah we are on the way.
I don't know. I'm not tired. Just being in the car makes me tired. Um GPS says 13 hours.
Long time. We ain't in Boston though until. We don't really know what what our plan is.
But we're gonna stop probably like at a Dunkin or something soon so we can get breakfast. I have
to pee. Maybe swap driving for a little bit. Um and that's it. I'm really stuck at vlogging.
Yeah you missed all the states. I did like miss all the states. I just like I get like my problem
with like vlogging as a whole is I get really stuck in in the moment and that's that's not a
bad thing. Update guys in a little bit. Okay we made it to Rhode Island. We made it to Rhode Island
last night. We slept. It's 10 45. We got ready. We're going out for breakfast with his mom.
And then we're gonna head up to Boston for a couple days. Where is she taking him?
She's walking to her neighbor's house. Which one? The two houses down. Um yeah.
We're all really tired. Why? We're waiting for Gammie. Super humid here. Forgot. You think
Cameron sometimes when we when we leave the gym house sometimes it's humid. We think that's humid
and then you come to Rhode Island and you get smacked in the face and it's like no this this
is humid. I don't want to smell your feet. Yeah. No. Yeah. No thank you. Yeah.
I'm hungry. I need a coffee. I don't want to smell your feet.
We are we have been trying to get to Boston for about over an hour. Like an hour and 20 minutes
since we left and we are still about an hour and a half away. Yeah because the highways are
flooded and closed. This is making me not miss Rhode Island. We've been literally in a standstill
traffic for an hour and a half. Um do you miss home? This is making me literally. Let's go home.
It sounds like a great idea. It's uh the highway is legit closed. Oh Elmwood Ave.
Um oh hello. Yeah we haven't made it. Yeah baby we are still in Nexigamis. We are in traffic
because the highway is flooded and closed. Oh my god. Yeah literally everything is closed.
Apparently this has been like a new occurrence that's happening in Rhode Island because they
need to fix their drainage system or something. I don't know but everything is flooded.
We've been literally sitting a 20 minute this is like a 20 minute drive from where we were
like technically if it wasn't traffic this would be like 20 minutes from like from there to here
and it's not even and we've been literally sitting for an hour and 20 minutes because we left
your mom called me at 3 30. It's five o'clock. We've been sitting for an hour and a half and
we're not even anywhere near where we should be.
Hmm I'm not very happy because my GPS is still trying to have me go through the highway that's
closed. Um and apparently Central Falls is now flooding. We were supposed to be there at five
o'clock. Now it says my GPS says I'll be there at 6 20 and that's just going to keep adding on
more and more time. Remind me never to come back to Rhode Island. I did. What? I did. You did what?
I am not coming back here. The ice is cracking. Oh no you lost all of your supplies. Can I
go? Go go go.
Oh Jesus. Oh no. What's happening to daddy? That's kind of weird. Does it hurt?
How much is each nail? 150. How much pressure is on each nail?
Are you gonna try landing?
All right all done. Asher. It's a cannon. Asher you see the cannon?
Wait wait wait. Over here. Not yet. Look. See the cannons? There used to be people over here
and they would shoot them all out. You ready to shoot a cannon? You're gonna protect us?
Yeah? You too? You're gonna protect us?
