Hey guys, welcome back to my channel, hope you guys are doing well.
Today I'm going to be doing another foundation review.
You guys know I like to do these once in a while, especially affordable foundation because
we know that these days it's all about, you know, saving the money, saving the coins and
you know, buying something that's more affordable, especially if it works well, why not?
I got a few requests to review this particular foundation so that's what I'm going to do
today.
The foundation is the Maybelline Fit Me Matt Poreless Foundation, which is this one here.
I haven't tried this foundation before, it's not a new new foundation, it's been around
I think for a little while but I just personally have never used it.
I got the shade 360 because in the store that's the shade that looked like it matched me the
most, matched me the best, so let's, here's to hoping.
It says it's for normal to oily skin, I have combination skin, some areas are dry, some
areas are oily, mainly the t-zone areas and at the back it says liquid foundation for
normal to oily skin, mattifies and refines pores, mattifying is good and obviously it
fills your pores and smoothens your pores, that's great too and it says a natural seamless
finish and that's what it says, oh the shade is mocha by the way, 360 mocha, that's the
shade.
How much was the foundation?
Now, I bought this foundation last year but I just never got around to reviewing it so
I actually can't remember how much this cost me.
I will link it in the description bar below, of course you guys know I always will.
I think it was around like £7 or £8, I feel like I'm leaning more towards £8 so definitely
affordable.
As per usual, I have done my brows, I've done my eye makeup, first of all I'm starting with
this product here which is from Primae, which is the Harmony Balancing Lemongrass Balm and
it's for combination to oily skin and it's really amazing, like I really recommend Primae
skincare if you are looking for something kind to skin and very kind of like if you've
got sensitive skin and you don't want anything harsh, this is really good and this is amazing
for oily skin, this keeps my makeup in place for a long time.
It's not necessarily a primer, it's more like a balm, like a cream, so you can use it in
the day, you can use it at night, you can use it whenever, so I'm just going to apply
that.
My Makeup Forever Base Mattifying Primer, my favourite primer, I use this all, all,
all the time, it's just the only primer that I've used so far that just really helps with
my oily problems.
So I'm just going to focus this on the T-zone area there, literally this is where I get
oily the most, like right under the eye, so just focusing just under the eye area mainly.
Pro Concealer in Chestnut, this is the concealer that matches me, that's my shade, so I like
to use it just to conceal, you know, dark areas first and discolouration before going
into the foundation.
Okay, so we're all nice and prepped and concealed, so now we can go in with this foundation,
I'm excited.
I'm going to shake the bottle a little bit, it comes like that, it's got a little seal,
so just opening that seal, and let's see how it comes out, is it liquidy, is it?
I just said liquidy, I laughed because I remember another foundation review I did and I said
liquidy, and a subscriber commented, you know who you are, and she was like, why do people
always use the word liquid, I think it was for the Fenty foundation because that foundation
is very like watery, and then she was like, why are people using the word liquidy, it's
not even a word, like what about watery or another word or something like that, why liquidy,
and I just laughed, I don't know, why do we say liquidy, I don't know, but you know what
I mean, okay, it's liquidy, so this one I would say is, it is liquidy, now I don't want
to say liquidy, but it is kind of watery, but not that bad, definitely not as watery
as the Fenty foundation, because by now the Fenty foundation would have dripped right
off my hand straight away.
The colour looks okay, I feel like the colour should be fine, because I told you I wasn't
too sure, so I've got a bit on the back of my hand now, so I'm going to go in with that
brush, that buffing brush I like to use for foundation as well, and I'm just going to
dip into it, because I like to use a brush first before going in with my beauty blender,
okay, and I'm just going to buff that in, we'll start with one side first, I'm going
to zoom in I think, just so you guys can see a little better, hey, just down my neck, under
my chin, okay, so I've just done one side, this is the side I've done, and this is the
side I haven't done, it's really nice, it's blending in really nicely, I can't even lie,
I can't even lie, and this is just with the brush, I haven't even used the beauty blender
to blend it out further, what do you guys think, I'm liking that, it looks flawless,
it actually does look flawless, it does, yeah, not bad, and the colour, I feel like the colour
is good, the colour is good, I feel like it's a good colour, I feel like it matches me,
so I'm not mad at it, because compared to my natural, this is my natural, well I've got
concealer on, but with my natural skin colour, with the foundation, there's not much difference,
oh, yeah, no bad, nah, smells fine, I always like to smell foundations, because some of them
smell really, really off sometimes, they just smell, have a strong smell, but this one's fine,
I'm just finishing it off now, the second side, so I have done the second side now,
with the brush, I'm just going to go in with my beauty blender, and just give that an extra,
you know, blend out, it doesn't need too much, because it's actually blended quite nicely with
the brush already, but I always like to just, you know, give that a little extra, really nice,
isn't it, it's really flawless, concealer next, so I think I'm going to go with my NARS today,
my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Caramel, blend out nicely, and it looks fine, it's blended in
nicely with the foundation, nothing mad or crazy is happening, so I'm just going to go ahead and
just set that, today I'm going to use my Luxury Banana Powder from Revolution, which I do like
to use once in a while, like most of the time I do use Sasha, but once in a while I do like to use
this, so I'm going to use this today, foundation, it's blended nicely with the concealer, the powder,
everything is fine, but we all know that, you know, everything is fine in the beginning,
until something happens later, sometimes, so let's hope that's not the case, so what I'm
going to do, as usual, is finish off my face, finish off everything with, you know, powder and
blush and lipstick and all that, and then I'll come back with my final thoughts. Okay, so I have
finished my face, just my final thoughts on this foundation, I would say that, yes, number one,
the coverage is really, really good, I believe it to be like a medium coverage and something that
you can definitely build on, the finish is definitely matte, my face doesn't look dewy or
anything like that, it's definitely a matte finish, it dries down matte for sure, and it pretty much
dried down matte, like pretty much straight away. In terms of pores, well, I don't really have too
many like open pores anyway, that's never really been my issue, I don't really know how well it
works with filling in pores and things like that, but I will say that the finish is definitely
flawless, it's definitely a flawless finish, everything looks really smooth and nice, blended
in with the concealer well, I actually do really like the finish, I like the finish and I like the
coverage. What I will try and do, which I like to do for most videos, is just to test it in terms of,
you know, because it says it's for oily skin, so let's see how long it lasts. Now the time is 3.19pm,
I'm just gonna be out and about, I'm gonna try not to, not to blot, not to, not to, you know,
use powder, not to do anything as per usual and give you the true test, so that will be the final
test and then we'll see the final, final, final thoughts on this foundation, so I will see you
guys in a couple of hours. Hey guys, so I am back, it has been a few hours, it's the end of the day
now, the time is currently 5 minutes past 10, so that is basically, I think I finished my makeup
about 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, so about 7, just under 7 hours and this is basically how my makeup is
looking right now. Okay, so right off the bat, like straight away I can tell you that it definitely
lasts, like I haven't touched my face all day, not a single pat of tissue, no brushes, no extra powder,
no nothing, literally haven't touched my face. I'll zoom in so you guys can see, the makeup still
looks flawless, like hardly any oil, just a little bit oil is coming on my forehead and then just like
under my eye as per usual, but yeah, so my final thoughts on this Fit Me, Maybelline Fit Me Matte
Flawless Foundation is that it's definitely oily skin friendly. The formula for oily skin, I think
it's definitely on point. It was good trying it, it's always good to try, it's good to see because
you just never know what you're gonna come across. But yeah, that is it guys, that is it for this
video, it's late, I can't wait to wash my makeup off and eat and sleep, but thank you so much for
tuning in, hope the review was helpful for you. Let me know, have you tried this foundation before,
how did you find it? Let me know in the comments below. Thank you so much for watching and I'll
see you on my next one. Bye!
