You could just drink this and your body's going to burn fat. I don't know if I believe that,
but I'll tell you what, if it sounds too good to be true, you certainly want to make sure you
want to watch to the end so you can see all the research I have backing this up and why this is
absolutely amazing. So guys, if you like what we're talking about, make sure you like, share,

out, see if it's a fit for you. If not, then you could also get a lot of information off my channel.
So let's go ahead and get started with why apple cider vinegar is a must when it comes to burning
fat. Number one is that it lowers blood sugar. Now, guys, if you've seen my previous videos,
you know I'm all about keeping that blood sugar low. Why? Because when your blood sugar is high,
your body says, hey, I've got no reason to go burn fat for fuel. We got plenty of blood sugar around.
And just like hybrid cars, your body's the same way. Hybrid cars can use electricity or they can
use petroleum, they can use gasoline. Your body's the same in that it can use glucose for fuel
or it can use stored fat. So why should it go to fat if it's got plenty of sugar sitting around?
So if you can keep your blood sugar levels low, your body will then turn to fat more for fuel.
Well, in a 2005 study in the British Journal of Nutrition, it said this, acetic acid, which is
the major compound in apple cider vinegar, improve the capacity of the liver and muscles to take in
sugar from the blood. So once again, it probably has a lot to do with insulin resistance and
improving insulin sensitivity. The acetic acid helps your body get the sugar out of your blood
and into your liver and muscles. Number two is that it lowers insulin. In the same study,
it found acetic acid decreased the ratio of insulin to glucagon. Now, what is the role of
glucagon? Glucagon is what your body uses to then convert the stored glucose in your system
called glycogen back to glucose. So if your body starts to get too low on blood sugar,
the glucagon converts that stored glucose in the form of glycogen back to glucose and puts it back
in the bloodstream. Number three is it increases your metabolism. So how does it do that? Well,
a study published in the Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communication said this,
a 2006 study showed that exposure to acetic acid increased certain enzyme levels
and increased fat burning. Acetic acid also reduced the expression of genes involved
in gluconeogenesis and lipogenesis. So what does that mean? Well, gluconeogenesis means that your
body can take and make new glucose. Once again, if your body gets too low on blood sugar, it's
going to start to convert glycerol and also to your proteins into glucose, gluconeogenesis. So
you don't want to make more glucose if you don't need to. Once again, you don't want to get more
glucose into your bloodstream. And also too, lipogenesis or lipogenesis just means you're
making new fat. You don't want to make more fat. You want to burn the fat. You don't want to make
more fat. Now, this is a really important thing because this really has to do a lot with gene
expression. In our office, we're getting involved a lot with genomics, testing DNA, and seeing what
works best for each person on a more customized level. So when you can do something that affects
what we call your epigenetics, which means it affects everything above the genome. So epigenetics
means that your lifestyle, your choices, the foods you eat, the way you think, your exercise,
your sleep patterns, that can all affect how your genes are expressed. So what this is saying is
that acetic acid in apple cider vinegar can actually change your genetic expression of
how your body is making new glucose and making fat cells. So that right there is huge.
Number four is it decreases appetite. So how does it do that? Well, in a study published
in Nature Communications in 2014 found that acetate might help suppress parts of your brain
that control appetite. Well, the parts of the brain they're talking about is the hypothalamus.
The hypothalamus has a lot to do with metabolic functions such as hunger and body temperature.
So if you can help regulate your hunger hormones, which one of them is called ghrelin. Ghrelin is
in your stomach, and when your body gets too hungry, ghrelin sends a signal up to your brain
and says, hey, we're hungry down here. The stomach is empty. Let's eat something. So your body says,
hey, we're hungry. Let's eat. And it makes you want to go eat then. So this actually can affect
the parts of your brain that control hunger. Number five is it reduces fat storage. Now,
a study published in the Critical Reviews of Food Science and Nutrition said this,
treatment with acetic acid or acetate prevented rats with high body weight and diabetes
from gaining weight. So once again, it's just benefiting so many different ways. In this case,
this was more of a rat study or a mouse study where it found that it helped rats and mice to
help prevent them from gaining more weight. Number six is it burns body fat. So a 2009 study
published in the Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry found this, mice fed high-fat diets
supplemented with acetic acid and saw an increase in genes that facilitate fat burning. So once
again, we're looking at epigenetics. When we look at epigenetics and we could do things that will
actually turn on or off certain genes that can either prevent excess lipogenesis, which means
more fat, or gluconeogenesis and at the same time burn more fat, that's always going to be a great
thing. Now, what is the acetic acid or apple cider vinegar we recommend? Well, it's always Bragg's.
Bragg's is the best by far out there. What you want to look for in a good apple cider vinegar
is a brand like I said Bragg's because Bragg's has the mother in it. It's raw and it's unfiltered,
which means it's not pasteurized. You're not doing things to kill the bacteria that are having all
these great benefits. So the mother is almost like a, not to sound gross, but it's a mucusy
looking substance that kind of floats around. It's cloudy inside the apple cider vinegar. So if
you're choosing an apple cider vinegar that's very clear and looks very crisp on the inside,
that's really not the one you want. You want the one that looks a little murky, like it's got
something floating down in the bottom and that's called the mother. So it's raw, unfiltered with
the mother. That's the one you want right here. So Bragg's is by far the best one I recommend. So
anyway guys, I hope you liked the video. If so, make sure you like, share, comment, and subscribe.
