HUGE TRANSFORMATION ⧸ GETTING READY FOR HOMECOMING ｜ SISTER FOREVER

I'm really scared. You don't look like you. What do you mean? Ow! ♪♪♪ Hey guys, I'm Allison and you're watching Sistas Forever. And if you guys haven't followed us for a while, you know that I've already been to one homecoming, but this is my school's like actual homecoming. And last year, since COVID happened, we had to wait until December to have our homecoming. But this year it's like at a normal time, like everything's back to normal. And we have our ho-co week leading up to our dance. Cause last year we had like ho-co week in October and then we had our dance in December. So that's why I have this on cause today was sports day and it's Monday. So that was the first day of the week was sports day. Tomorrow is squad day. Basically right now I'm going to go get my nails done because for my last homecoming, it was very like, it wasn't really necessarily last May. Like I could have done everything I needed to do. Sorry, excuse you. But I just didn't feel like it. Like I didn't feel the like, oh my gosh, it's homecoming. Which I don't feel that either right now. But I definitely want to get my nails done cause I've been thinking about it for a while and my nails are really, really bad. Super duper disgusting. So I'm going to go get my nails done right now. So it's the first part of this video is getting my nails done and I'm getting my hair done on Wednesday. And it's not the usual. It's not the usual. It's a big transformation. So that's going to be the majority of this video. But basically this video is just getting me ready for homecoming this year. And there'll also be like the day vlog, like the day of homecoming, get ready with me. Forever family vlogs. Yes, you guys can also look at that on that channel. But just leading up to it, it's going to be on here and all the things that I do. Like what else do I need to do? What? You have the dress already. I need to find shoes. I don't have shoes. And like, I took a part of the dress code that you can't be wearing sneakers. I don't think I'm allowed to wear my Converse. What? I don't know. So I might have to go find some shoes. I don't know. But I also don't know what nails I want to get yet. I'm thinking like this French tip type of thing, but with white. Cause I see that everywhere. But I'm thinking to do like really, really short because I have weightlifting. And literally right after. And I don't really want to have long nails and my nails grow really fast. So I'm going to do them really short so that like when they grow out, they're like normal length. So yeah, I'm excited to get my nails done cause I feel so manly with ugly nails and I haven't gotten my nails done since like probably beginning of summer. Which, so it's been like a couple months cause it's like October. I think the last time I did it at home. I don't remember. I'm excited to finally get them done and have them cute and pretty cause these nails just look so ugly and manly and I want to look cute and I want to look girly. So that's the plan. And then this Wednesday, it'll be connected to this obviously. But you guys will see my major transformation and hopefully it goes well because I have homecoming three days after that. And if it looks ugly, I'm going to cry. And you did a lot for this appointment with this girl. So hopefully you like it. If it doesn't look bad, oh my God. If it looks bad, I don't know what I'm going to do. Cause like right now I'm kind of like liking my hair. Like it's fine. But like, I know that it's like, just, it looks bad. Like I know that like it's some lightings like on the camera, it looks fine. But I know in real life, it just looks so ugly. I'm trying to just go back to something that's simple and cute and like, I don't have to worry about it as much. So I'm excited to do what I'm going to do. You guys will see it the day of, but for right now it's just nails. And that's my inspiration. I don't really know. Uriel is going like homecoming shopping tomorrow. So he's trying to find either gray pants or khaki pants cause I'm wearing a white dress. So that's the idea. And I think we're doing like a blue for our flowers and his tie. And I wanted to get blue Converse, but they just didn't have them like for sale anywhere. So- You said you cannot use Converse either. Yes, I don't know. But I don't know. I wanted to wear these like platform sandals because they're really cute. Where? But I don't know where they're from. You can probably get them at like Ross or TJ Maxx. What day do you plan to do all of that? Saturday morning. And she's going to the salon without her face. No, I'm going to take it off. Like now. But yeah, I have a really busy day and I have a very busy homecoming week. So I should have done like a homecoming week vlog. Like everything I do after school and stuff because tomorrow I don't really have, actually I don't really have anything at all this week. Besides Thursday's the bonfire, but I don't know if I'm even going to it. And then Friday's the homecoming game, which really fun. And I got a shirt for it. So yeah, it's pretty fun week. And but we still like test and stuff. Like I have a test tomorrow. I pretty much think that a lot of people have had their homecoming already. We're like the last school to have it in our area. Like everybody else has had their homecoming like a month ago. But like, I'm kind of glad that we had it so late because it's supposed to be early. But our school is just super annoying and like whatever. But I'm kind of glad that it's a little later because then like we still have something to look forward to. So it's okay. Like it doesn't really matter. Next year when you're a junior, you're supposed to take your SAT and they give us a paper that's like, oh, sign up for the PSAT. So I thought that if you don't sign it, then you don't have to take it. But apparently if you don't sign it, it means that you're okay with taking it. What? So you sign, you don't have to take it. Yeah. But Uriel signed it and they're still making him take it. And you? I forgot about it. So now I have to take it. And it's a three hour long test. And I have to take it on Wednesday. And so basically I'm gonna be gone. It's the stupidest thing ever. Because I'm then that day, I'm only gonna go to fourth and fifth period. And then I have to leave. That's next year? No, this year, this Wednesday. Oh. Because it's the pre-SAT. Like it's the before the SAT. Which like I'm okay with because I actually wanted to take it. I was kind of annoyed that I didn't fill out the paper. Because I thought you're supposed to if you want to take it. And what is that? I don't get it. It's basically an SAT is something you need to like get into colleges. And it's like the higher you score, the more smart you are apparently. Oh, let's see how smart you are. I don't know. I'm probably gonna get like a 900 out of 1600. It's three hours long. I don't want to sit there for three hours. So that means at 730, I'm gonna be there until third period. And then I go to fourth period, fifth period. I'm gonna leave sixth period to go get my hair done. So I'm gonna go for two periods. So excited to take the PSAT. But I'm really hoping I do really good. So that means I don't have to worry about like the SAT. But apparently it's like really hard. And I'm not. You have to study for that or just go? They gave me a little booklet, but they gave it to me two days before the test. And it's like fat. I'm like, when am I gonna do that? Like I'm not doing that. So anyways, I'm gonna go get my nails done. We'll show you guys them after. Here's the before. Really disgusting. Really ugly. My hands are orange from my face. But it's okay. See you guys after. Please clean your face. Clean your face. I mean, they look like what I wanted it. Like this is literally what I asked for. Like short nails like this. But that was 20 minutes. I know. And it was really fast. We got there at like 3.30 and I left at like four o'clock. So 30 minute to do that and $69. Yeah, it was really expensive because they've raised their prices. And they saw the girl I usually go with and it was kind of like, it was a little bit like bad. I don't know. She just, they're really chunky because she didn't file them a lot. And they're just a little bit like, but they're good. Like from afar, they're like cute. It's like exactly what I want. Fire, fire. No, they're not bad. But I got a burrito and chips. Now I'm going to practice. It's 4.22. I'm gonna get there a little bit early, but that's fine. So, peace out. Okay guys. So it is now Wednesday and as you guys saw before, I got my nails done. My mom said that they're really chunky. I kind of agree, but they're cute and I just needed something that wasn't my original nails. So it's okay. But today I'm getting my hair done and this is what it looks like right now. I'm just kind of like scared because like recently I've been like liking my hair, even though like I know that it's not like good. I don't know. I don't know how dark it's gonna be and I don't know like if I'm gonna like that darkness. I don't know. But we're going today and it's currently 1.30 and we're leaving in 15 minutes because it's kind of far away. My appointment's at three, but it's like 45 minutes away. We're going to start getting ready right now. I got picked up from school early. I had the PSATs today. So I left like right after that. But basically there they take pictures of you before and they take pictures after to like post on their Instagram. So like I wanna look like really good, you know? So like I don't like hate the pictures. Hopefully they just take pictures of my hair and not like me, but just in case I wanna look good. So we're gonna go in with the bronzy because I always look best when I'm tan. So we're just gonna go with that. I put a lot of it on this morning, so I'm not gonna put that much on. Tomorrow is toddler day and I'm going all out for that one and it's gonna be crazy. And then Friday is your spirit day, which is just, you know, wear your pirate spirit, which is very simple. I'm just gonna retouch my makeup. It's mostly just my eyelashes. My eyelashes just don't curl. And it's honestly really annoying that they don't curl. And so I just had the PSAT this morning. It was from 7.30. We didn't start really till like eight o'clock, but it was from 7.30 and we finished at like 11. So it was like three hours. It wasn't that long as I thought. I thought it was like four hours, but I guess it wasn't. And it was four tests back to back and you got like five minute breaks between them. And it's just, it was insane. Like I didn't know that was a thing. I don't know how good I did. I don't think I did like really good. I think I did like, yeah, I probably did really bad honestly. I'm not really good at math. We're gonna get out of here. My appointment's at three though. So like I kind of have extra time. I didn't know we're gonna leave so early, but it's okay because you're supposed to be 15 minutes early. So it's okay. I'm really scared, but we're gonna get out of here now. It's 1.36. So we're gonna leave soon and we'll see you guys when we get there. It's about 45 minutes. So it'll be in a little bit. And then it usually takes three to four hours to do your hair. So I might leave there like six, seven o'clock. So it's gonna take a little bit, but good thing for you guys. You don't have to actually be in present time. But here it is right now. It's definitely dark at the top, but like just look at all this orange and it's not really blonde. It's more just like orange and just not really vibing with that. So anyways, okay. See you guys when we get there. Okay guys. So it's currently two o'clock. My appointment's in an hour at three. It is 23 minutes away. So it's literally cut in half of how much it was last time. Last time it took us 45 minutes to get there. Now it's gonna take us 23. Oh, which is a good thing. Because now we're gonna go for the 75 and the other day we went inside the tunnel. Yeah, because the other time it was right after the hurricane and you couldn't go on the interstate because it was like closed. We're going brunette. Cheers. Back to my roots. What flavor is that? Kiwi and guava. Kiwi. Let's do a little taste test. Kiwi and guava. Oh, that's really strong, but it tastes like Capri Sun, but it also tastes like it would be alcohol. Alison, that's not alcohol. I know it's not. Clarify the point. It's not alcohol. It's a Celsius. But it's just, it's super strong. So we are going 75 south. I like that. The last moments as a blonde, half blonde, half brunette. But now we're gonna go 80% brunette. How dark. Hi, Jack-Jack. Let me see the back. You don't look like you. I know. Okay, guys. So we're done. And it only took two hours. It's currently 5.14. And we're going home right now. But this lighting is making it look extremely dark. But in person, it's a lot lighter. As you can see, it has like these little highlights, just like low tones. I'm gonna insert a clip here on the sun so you can see the difference. But it's, it's dark. It's not like super light. But I really like it. It's a lot lighter in person. This lighting is a little bit dark. But- It's getting dark. Look at it. I love it. Okay, so she said that since I was like really blonde before that when she put all this dye on my hair, it like, the blonde just took everything in. All of it in. Because the pores were too open. Yeah, like they were so open that it just took everything in. So the more I wash my hair, it's gonna start fading and being a lighter brown, which is like, I'm okay with that. Because this is pretty dark right now. And if it fades a little bit, that'd be fine. So with the more I wash it, and the more time that goes by, it's gonna get darker. Not darker. It's gonna get lighter. And if I wanna go darker, then I can just come back and we just do like a full thing. But I don't think I'm gonna wanna go darker. I think this is like a dark enough color. And then just like lighter highlights would be fine. It'll just come with time. But I love it. I love the curl that she did. And she said not to wash it for a couple of days. I'm a brunette now. This is my natural color. And I feel like it'll make my hair grow. Because before even- Have you cut it? I cut it too. And it looks a lot shorter. I always, I literally always cut my hair. But before we cut it, it looked so much longer with it, like just dark. And I feel like- That feels so good. I know. They put some conditioner in it and it feels so good. But basically, I feel like, even though my hair was growing with like my blonde hair, like it was growing, it didn't look like it was growing ever because of how damaged it was. So I feel like with the darker hair, it feel like it'll grow and you'll actually be able to tell. That's the conclusion that she has. I'm just, I just think it'll be better. And I just, I like this. That's what matters. What you think. Know what people think. And homecomings this weekend. And hopefully it looks amazing with my dress. So I'm just finishing up all the TikTok transition videos. But for right now, we're gonna just drive home. We have a very long drive home because now there's so much traffic. And stay tuned for our homecoming vlog because that one's gonna be a fun one.
