House Tour - -Tennessee

So when you first come in, I kind of like this. It's different than anything I've seen before, but we have a little hallway and that takes you to the garage. There's doors that go into the office right here. Then this goes into the family room or four doors to the office. So the office is like a dark color. It's the iron ore from Sherwin-Williams. And I love the dark color, but I also am a light person. And so I love that these are basically just glass. Two of the walls are glass. And I like the trim that they use. I like the lights that they did. I can't take credit for any of this because it was all picked out when we bought the house. This is our friends from Reflections of Christ. He did this and isn't it beautiful? It's called Alive and you should follow him on Instagram and just read all about it because I will botch it and it's just awesome. Okay, so this is the other one and I think the colors are just so beautiful. It just is like a peaceful painting. Nope, it's not even a painting. Artwork, canvas. Picture. You get what I'm saying. I know, but it's more than just a picture. It's like just an art. Come on in. This is our family room. Can we show that? We did the frame TV again because I like it to look like artwork. I do want to put a family picture up there. You guys, one of the cool things too. We did the frame on this one too. That's Deco TV frames. In fact, I'll list all the people and places and everything. We got everything. We are waiting on two little pieces for on each side. They're not here yet, but it turns out it's really hard to get products in nowadays. Show my recliners. No, no, no, no. I'm gonna make you show them. Gentry's gonna show us his favorite thing, the recliner. It was designed by a chiropractor or something. Somebody that knows how a back should feel good. Is that or an astronaut? Or an astronaut, we don't know. All of our furniture in here is from our house. I wanted to show you. So we liked those chairs because see how that opens up big. Then we can have inside, outside living. You can join the conversations by spinning around. So that just felt like a good idea to us. But we were worried about how we were gonna cover, like do window coverings, uptown drapes. They did it all for us. So can close it all up. I love it open. It also helps with like the echoeyness, you know. Anyway, this is our table. You love it? Love it. So Gentry makes fun of me. Sometimes when we eat dinner, I sit forward. And so he's like, you cut people out of the conversation. And it's not because I'm trying to listen, but at the circle table, we felt like, you know, we can all see each other. We just felt like that was like a good idea. So we have a circle table in here. And then this is the kitchen. And... Show them the range. Still waiting on that. That'll be in. It's about like a year wait for this. So it doesn't quite fit. Oh, we have a lot of extra storage on both sides, which is kind of nice. And I love the beams. Do you know what? These chairs are actually super comfortable too. They're like nice and wide. They're sturdy. I think I linked these on my like to know it. If you'd like to know. Let's go see the... This is probably one of my favorite things here is this like little big bed. And this almost didn't exist. Yeah, yeah. So when we had signed on the plan, it showed this nook. And then when they started building, they didn't have the nook. Long story short, they ended up adding the nook for us. I think our builders were actually awesome. So this is the nook area. Again, furniture is from our house. These chairs on the ends, and then this one over here, I like that they're on wheels. We thought that that would be good too if we have a lot of company, we can like wheel them in. But this way, if we have people over for Thanksgiving, we can eat in both areas. If you're hosting Thanksgiving this year. So one thing we've never had before is a prep kitchen. And now we have a prep kitchen. I think this little light's cute. Hang on, check the light. Wait, nope, that's not it. That's not it. That's it. There we go. And we even got some under counters going. Today I'm buying a pot for my basil. That's how it's sitting there right now. But it's cute. Okay, show them the pantry. Let's give them like a quick look, because it's so messy. And that's the pantry. Next up, guest room. The guest room. And you should show the mirror. The mirror's like my favorite. I think it's a cute mirror. Isn't that cute? Way cute. What's on the ground over there? What is that? Nothing. Yeah, there's like a red... What is it? Oh, hardware for something. Oh, you know what? It's hardware for the, to hang that mirror. We just haven't got around to it yet. Do you know what I got it from? It's a kitty. Yeah. We'll set it there. Come on back. Plus it's kind of a mess. We're going to leave that there and then go show the shower. It's cute. Do you like this? Tile goes all the way up. And this is where the guests shower. Thanks. All right. Now let's go show them something interesting. The laundry room. This is where Betsy does a lot of work. This is also known as her office. Actually, this is the kids use this laundry room. This isn't even ours. Yes. We really need to get like pictures on this wall. Looks so bare, huh? Okay. Storage closet. And then this is our little locker set up. And then garage. And then our muddy shoes out in the garage. And the fishing pole stuff and leafs that just got tracked in. This is very, this is very raw. Yeah. Okay. Let's go show them the outside patio and then we'll do our master next. Wait, should we show what just came out from the patio? Kitty. Please. I'm allergic. Please don't touch me. No. She basically lives on the patio. She's our patio cat. Hi Mandy. Where do you live? She's very good at listening. Come here. We've been training her. Yeah, she's like this. You guys, she's actually so friendly. She is. She's a tabby cat. Okay. Give us a tour. So this is our back patio. Probably my favorite part of the house. I love it so much. We do use it a lot. This is the grill. Can I show my all time favorite part? Sure. Okay. Wait. Watch. So they all three go up. Keeps the bugs out. It keeps Kitty in. Oh, you just wanted to show one going up. Oh, did you want me to show all of them? No, just saving electricity. Then you walk down onto our little outdoor space. Today, this is our backyard. But today we had deer out here. And then down here, we have a future basketball court and a future pickleball court. The pickleball net has been tipped over. I don't know why it is. And then this is where the hoop will be. So, and then there's our screening porches, which is kind of a must if you're in Tennessee, right? Utah, we didn't really need that. Yeah. We have heaters in the ceiling. So I feel like you can stay out here, even if it's cold. Yeah, you should turn them on. Show them how they glow. No, I guess it'd be kind of... It's a waste. It's such a pretty day. So this is the whole setup. And then every morning, Betsy will come out here and she'll drink her Perk and sit right there and do her emails. That's my room over there. So I'm still sleeping when she's out here. So I have her keep the lights off so she doesn't wake me. This is honestly our favorite part of the whole entire house. Love it. Okay, now walking down the hall, we still need to get something for right there. We still need a lot of things, but we're getting there. This is the powder bath. Let me get out of the way. I do love this though. I think that is the coolest little sink setup. And then right across from there, our bedroom. Obviously we have Betty's and then the ceilings. But our view and our back. Is my favorite. Yes. Overlooking my favorite part, the court. And this is the huge mirror that Betsy loves right here. Do you want to show them how Betty's works? Just do a little zip. Give them a little, just a taste. I mean, don't show them too much, but just give them a taste of what they. Well, the nice thing is, is you don't, I'm not tucking around here because guess how I make the bed? I can't show you the inside because this is a sample. Of what's to come? No, it's not the correct interior. So I don't want people to see. It was just like one of our samples that we made. Okay. All right. Now to the bathroom. Uptown drapes. They're drapes. I think it softens the bathroom so much. And then we still have privacy, but that just automatically goes up. We've got the little double doors to get in here. I do love that. Sometimes I leave it open though. What side is mine? This side or this side? You guys comment below. And then my favorite part in the house. Obviously we have the bidet going again. You come in, it recognizes that you're here. It opens up automatically. It does the pre-missed. If you don't know what the pre-missed is, Google it. And it's got the heated seat. It's pretty amazing. And then we also bought this. Because we wanted our towel to be warm. Because it's so cold when we get out. I know. Towel warmer. Click, click. And then this is our shower. Actually the tile in the shower. We got specifically so it didn't slip. It's super small tile. And because Gentry's not as stable as he used to be. I'm a little shaky. All right. Hey, the miss goes back. The closets. Betsy's closet first. My closet? Betsy's closet. My closet. Ta-da. Look at that. She still has room for so many more shoes. So we're here saving money basically. And then her hats are all hung up. Now when you're in Tennessee, you need your hats. We wear hats like every day here. Yeah, they do. And then she's got all of our Shine products. Gigi Pip and the whole shoe match. All right, now let's go into the laundry room. Also known as my closet. So I do all the laundry obviously. And then this is just my closet. It's nice. I have my selection of all my black shirts. Don't know why this is in here. Red. I never wear red. That's gonna go right in the trash. Anyway, let's go show them what else we got. And then welcome to our gym. So we have all of our weights just kind of right there. And then we have some yoga mats. We have our NordicTrack treadmill, which is right there. And then we have our workout area. And we also installed a little shop vac that hangs on the wall in the garage. Do you wanna show that? Well, I love this rack. This is Brock's because he wanted it. But this actually folds up into the wall and then flat, and then you lift this up and it folds up into the wall. So like this space over here is like not off the wall at all so they can still like park their truck and stuff in here. And then I just barely got the Peloton and I love the Peloton. I didn't think that I was a biker guy, but it's actually, I look forward to working out on the Peloton. I love it so much. And then these are our little mats. We got these from Home Depot. These are, no, Amazon. Amazon. And then we just put our yoga mats on it. And this is where we work out. And Betsy obviously has to have her cavern cute weights. My friend Milana just did those in their Target. So cute. Yeah, I still have some repairs to do, but we'll get to that. Now let's head upstairs. Look at Dentry just walking up those stairs. This is where we have all the football games. Actually we haven't even been up here yet. But we could. Yes, we could. We totally could. So we have our TV. These recliners are actually- So comfortable. I don't even know. Do they even look comfortable? Because they are. They are so comfortable. So it's like the softest leather you'll ever feel. And then the recline on it, you can basically just go to sleep. Dentry's basically wearing his inside shoes. That's why he's allowed on this carpet. Kizzix, ever heard of them? The nice thing about this though, is super fast. That's actually one drawback. That's okay. It's fun. It's electric. Patience. We have a little fridge in the back. Yeah. Wet bar back there, which is nice. And there's a little, I don't even know. Do we even have drinks in here? We did. I haven't come back to refill, but yeah, we've got a drink or two. Mount Dew. See? Soma. And then we're going to put candy up there. But again, we still have work. Let's go to the boys' room. First up, Brock's room. Furniture is by our house. This is, honestly, this bed is, I feel like. That's one of your favorites. I know. It's like, it's such a good print. I'm surprised that that's like, not the number one seller. But it is a good seller. It's just not number one. I know. I just thought for sure it'd be number one. So good looking. Okay. Here's the bathroom. He's got a little shower. He's got a shower. And then he has his bidet. They're so spoiled. Now let's see if Boston's room's clean. Boston's room is always clean. Brock's room wasn't totally clean. We kind of had to pick up a few things, if we're being honest. Shoes and crap. Just shoes and like water bottles. Nothing major. This is the powder bath. Yeah. Just kind of a standard powder bath. The only thing Boston didn't do. What? Was open his curtain. But I would give it to him. He wakes up and leaves by six. Every day, he's. It's dark when he leaves, so he probably leaves by six. Yeah, that's probably true. There's another box here, but it's like. Actually needs. Branded. Yeah. So see, Boston is our, definitely the cleanest. Walk into his bathroom, turn on the lights. And this is what that hit. He didn't even know we were gonna be doing a video. There's his showers, glass shower, so. He does have the best closet. Just look. Just show the closet. Let's show the closet. Even if it's a little. He had that charger out. Oh, geez. Kids. Kids these days. So, how bad is it? Actually not bad. Okay. Boston's our clean child. And then he has the secret door right here. The secret area. That's locked. So nobody breaks in. Anyway. Actually, I won't go too deep into like where all the hidden places are, but anyway. That's where it starts. And now the guest room. This is where Alyssa and Dallin stay when they come. Again, this is the guest room. Alyssa and Dallin sometimes stay here. So they have a little shower there. It's actually like a really good size. This is, I think, one of my favorite beds we have in the house. I like it. And this bed is from, what's that place called? Stock and. Stock and Trade. I do love it. And then this is their view. Out the side. Leaves are changing. It's gonna look so pretty. Thank you so much for watching. If you guys have any questions or links, I'm gonna try to link it all in the description below. But also on my Like to Know It page, I've linked everything. So hopefully you can answer your questions there. Bye.
