I think I saw you in my sleep.
I can't lay on the floor with you in it.
I'm so glad it's already recording.
There she goes.
Or do the sister tag.
You can get the varial slag in the back.
I don't think anyone cares.
So these are my sisters.
I apologize in advance.
For what?
For the headache everyone's about to get.
They already hate us dude.
We're never going to be half the scene again.
We're true.
Okay, we have some questions. Guys, look, I'm wearing a counterpart shirt.
Dude, I'm ripping rock loose. Alright, let's go.
I'm Taylor. I'm 19 and not ******* learning how to read.
No, I'm 18 actually. Let's see, what do I do?
Nothing. I get kicked out of high school.
You're making a great first impression.
I really, really like cats.
No, same.
I own too many pairs of shoes.
That makes one of us.
And I don't wear socks that match.
Good. And you?
Okay, well.
See, look at two different colors.
Okay, so my name is Lexi. I'm 18 years old.
What I do? Well, I work a lot. I'm a server at a restaurant.
I go to a lot of shows with my sister.
That one.
I'm going to college next year.
She's the good sister.
The one that everyone's proud of.
And we're sisters. Did I mention that?
I guess we should start with the most commonly asked question.
Like, why are you black?
First of all, you ****.
First of all, I'm Asian, you dumb ****.
Hey, we can't swear. There are children here.
Okay, well, we're not black. We're from Cambodia, which is in Southeast Asia.
So if you, you know, go down to the map over there,
you'll see that it's right next to Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand.
I was there.
Yeah, she was also there.
She went to my mother country and I wasn't there.
Yeah, they're adopted. That's why we're different looking.
Yeah, that's why she's white.
What do you think of me doing YouTube?
And do you watch my videos?
I think it's pretty sick. And I do watch your videos, actually.
Really?
I remember, Alex, I remember like years back,
Steph was always like, I'm going to be famous one day.
I'm like, you're not famous.
I was like, literally all Stephie talked about was being like a YouTube star.
I'm like, yeah, right. Good luck with that.
But now here she is.
Now here she is.
Never doubt someone because, you know, anything's possible.
What were your first thoughts when I moved into my car and started traveling?
That was pretty sick.
That's awesome, first of all.
Everyone thought you couldn't do it.
And I was like, yo, she's totally capable of doing this.
Yeah, the only thing I was nervous for is like,
either you getting in a car crash or someone like...
Which I did.
I mean, and then like people trying to steal into your car.
People trying to steal your stuff or like break in,
try to like kidnap you or something like that.
Yeah, I read too many scary stories on like the internet about...
Yeah, too much true crime gets to your head a lot.
Well, I didn't get kidnapped.
That's always good to hear.
How does me having cystic fibrosis affect how you see life, I guess?
Well, it must ******* suck, first of all.
Like, all I hear you is coughing your brains out every ******* day.
And...
It makes me hella worried.
I know, like, and then when I have friends over,
they hear you coughing, they're like, is she okay?
I'm like, she's fine.
She's just almost dying, but it's fine.
And like, it's normal.
And I mean, I do feel bad.
Like, honestly, I wish your lungs were fine
because you could barely talk without like coughing up a storm.
And it's kind of annoying.
It really is annoying.
Like, if you're sleeping out, it's like 12 o'clock at night
and then you hear Stephanie like coughing her lungs out
and for just like mariachi bands and ---- like going on.
It's literally a nightmare.
I can never sleep.
And also, I used to sleep in Stephanie's room,
like have sleepovers and stuff in her room.
She never just stops coughing.
And mind I tell you, she also talks in her sleep.
Oh my god.
Yes, you do.
So I never have a sleepover with her
and I'm sorry to any of her roommates that you had to ******* share a room with her.
What a nightmare.
All my roommates don't talk to me anymore.
Well, I wonder why.
Would you ever travel with me?
Yes.
**** yeah.
Dude, I want to go somewhere.
I want to get the hell out of the East Coast so bad.
Dude, I'm sitting in this godforsaken town
with my friends, with the pizza in the back seat,
in the front seat with my best friend.
I gotta get out of this town with my friends.
Okay, so where do you want to go?
First of all, I want to go to California.
Yeah, me too.
Yeah, I want to go to California.
I want to go there.
That sounds cool.
Yeah, honestly, I've never been there.
And if I were to travel anywhere across the world,
I'd probably want to go to New Zealand or something like that,
or like Australia or something like that.
Oh, that'd be sick.
That'd be sick.
I always wanted to see a kangaroo.
Let's go to Australia.
Okay.
I'm down.
What do you think of my armpit hair?
Somebody ask that.
I mean, I don't ******* care.
I don't care.
Everybody has body hair, first of all,
and it's up to you to shave it all off if you want,
to not shave it.
It doesn't matter.
Who ******* cares?
Next question.
Do you have any embarrassing childhood stories?
What were we like when we were younger?
You were, like, really weird, first of all.
Why was I weird?
You know, I can't even begin to describe it.
Oh my god, I remember at the old house,
Steffi and her friend Katie would, like,
pretend to be, like, different people,
and then they were, like...
I don't know what...
Dude, I remember when Steffi's friends, like,
Tyler, uh, the other girl...
Yeah, you guys would, like, come over
and we'd play, like, house and stuff like that.
Me and Taylor were always the toddlers, obviously.
It wasn't really...
It was never really embarrassing.
I thought it was fun.
Yeah, that's definitely not embarrassing.
Oh my god, I don't know if you ever remember this,
but I remember, um, at the old house, um,
Mom parked, uh, one of the horse trailers
in the driveway, and then it was me, Steffi, Katie,
and someone else.
We got stuck in there.
Yeah, I remember that.
And we were, like, banging on the door for, like, hours,
screaming for help, and then my mom finally came out.
I remember that.
And opened the door for us, and I was like,
oh my god, I was panicking, like, no.
I was, like, I was, like, four.
I also remember when Steffi used to ride her bike
around the block at our old house,
and she told me that if I saw a raccoon,
I had to put my hands up.
What?
Yeah, no, you did, you told me.
No, yeah.
Because, like, you saw a raccoon or something,
she's like, Leslie, you gotta put your hands up.
I'm like...
Oh, I probably said that because if you look bigger,
then it scares them away.
I thought that was only for bears.
Remember when we used to play Polly Poppy?
Yes, okay, ready?
So we had this thing called Polly Poppy.
This is freaking weird.
So Steffi used to pretend she was a dog.
Well, we had a Bichon named Scruffy,
and I'm pretty sure her breed was a Bichon,
and we would just, like, drag her along, like, on a leash.
You're the dog.
You.
Oh my god.
And we used to pretend she's a dog,
and yeah, it was pretty weird.
It wasn't any fetish ----.
It was just because we were younger.
It was, like, fun.
It was fun.
Oh my god.
It was kind of weird to tell people about.
And a lot of times, we used to play, like, restaurant.
I feel like a lot of people did that.
That's true.
Yeah, like, you gave us a menu.
You and Katie gave us a menu all the time.
You were like, let's go cook some grilled cheeses.
I'm like, yeah, I want some grilled cheese.
Do you still love horses?
Heck yeah, I do.
I love horses.
I mean, I do.
Even though I have two horses, I don't pay attention to them
because I don't know why.
But I like horses.
It's not like I hate them or anything.
Do your family follow you on social media?
I don't know why I let them.
I block everyone.
Grandma follows me on everything,
and pretty much the whole family does.
That's weird.
It makes me really uncomfortable.
Would you ever go back to Cambodia?
Yes, 100%.
We actually are.
My grandparents say once we finish college,
they're going to send us to Cambodia.
I thought it was high school.
Can I come?
I'll give you a tour.
I've already been there.
Girl, I'd love to go to Cambodia.
What was Steffi like in high school?
Awkward as ****.
Yeah, dude.
She had no friends, even though everybody loved her.
I'm not even joking.
No, they didn't.
Yes, they did.
I ---- you not.
Everybody talked about you.
All my teachers talked about you
and how great of a student you were.
I didn't even talk.
Exactly.
I don't know.
Is that why they liked me?
Probably.
Probably because you didn't cause any trouble or anything.
Yeah, like every other ****** in the school.
I don't know.
All my friends always say,
oh, yeah, Steffi's so cool.
I love her hair.
Yeah, you know my older sister Steffi?
She was so cool in high school.
I didn't talk to her or anything,
but she was pretty cool.
Nobody talked to me.
Now that I'm out of high school
and kind of doing better than I was then,
people suddenly want to be my friend.
Yeah, that's what happens.
People that didn't give a ---- about me
are like, hey, we should hang out.
Freak them to heck, dude.
How did the loss of our mother affect you guys and me?
Well, she died when Lexi and I were six.
At that time, I guess I didn't really understand the concept of death.
People, like my family members, were asking us,
do you have any questions?
Literally the day my mom died,
my grandma read me a book on death,
and I was like, I don't know.
I was 11, and I didn't know what death really was.
I literally was in the same room as her when she died.
When she died, everybody around me was crying and stuff.
I was standing there like, what just happened?
My dad came up behind me and picked me up and said,
it's okay, everything's going to be okay.
I'm like, I don't understand what's going on right now.
Then it hit me a couple years later.
I would just sit there and cry because I miss my mom so much,
but it was legit two years after she died.
I remember the day it happened.
We watched her die, we were in the same room as her,
and then we went to play on the water slide after.
Oh my god, I remember.
Exactly.
We just didn't understand.
We weren't facing it at all, and then it hit us.
But now we're all depressed.
Oh yeah.
I don't know what else to ask.
I think I asked all the questions.
